And what he 'did do' is part of why Yogscast had lost 20% of their subscribers. Apologizing is what would make him a decent person. But he hasn't, even though I'm sure by now he knows what effect it had.
But I have a feeling he doesn't care, because it's not him.

As was mentioned, I don't think Survival Mode is meant to be a RPG. The point is to survive while mining and building. The world is endless, but for the most part, once you've gone out a few chunks in each direction, it's not likely you're going to run into any actual differences in the materials you find (for building). More material, but not different material.
With Adventure Mode, what would be the point, if not mining and building? Combat and exploration. What would be the rewards? Combat invariably ends up having some kind of dropped loot, and progression of skill. That's what the experience orb seems to be, yes? Perhaps it's simply generated in the terrain as a reward for exploration? I haven't thought much about it, I don't follow updates religiously.
Basically...there's 5 months before the game is scheduled to be released. I highly doubt they would wait until release to add Adventure Mode, which has surely been worked on in the background for a while. What game developer mentions 2 game modes, and then works on only one mode exclusively? 5 months before release...it has to be tested. That's why this is a beta...we're supposed to be testing a pre-release product.
The blueish lighting could be them messing with lighting, or it could of course be a lantern (finally). Again...Adventure Mode would seem like a lantern would be more likely than torches as a light source. Sticking torches down everywhere for light is an impractical method for exploring.
Another possibility is fixing nether portals in multiplayer, which last I knew didn't have the correct transporting effect. The two pictures are of the same cave, but at different distances. The distance is diagonal, but my best guess is that's about 8 blocks between photos.
I also like the theory about the height of the world changing. I assume this is something that was coming for a while, so he had time to set up the whole secret info thing in advance. The colors of the blocks aren't just blue and orange, there's a grey block above the blue, and below the orange. Those signify to me the bedrock layers.
And the "-Removed Herobrine" could either be that he undid the removal, or he's continuing what was viewed as a prank to begin with, that implied that Herobrine actually was in the game, but was then removed. I don't know, I don't care, Herobrine is of no interest to me. Or it could just be there to throw people off who were looking.
To the OP, good job on looking at the whole image, not just the game screenshot portion.

Hey Notch, we have something here in America called 'laziness.' When it's dark, or raining, or...we just got home from work, or just got home from school, or we've spent more than 10 minutes doing anything remotely strenuous, we like to lay down and sleep for an hour or two. Why can't I take a nap in-game to pass some time? Perhaps let us sleep away the rain, the way we can sleep through night.
Why should we only be able to sleep to let night pass?

Speaking of Hitler...I did a project in school once and chose Hitler as the leader to do a presentation on. Being that I was a soft-spoken, quiet, solitary person in school, it must have been a bit of a shock that I would choose possibly one of the most evil leaders of all time. I found it interesting. Disturbing, but interesting. He was like one of those parents that kills their children and spouse, then commits suicide. There was good intention in there, but in the end no matter what, you just come out looking like a evil *******.

Tell that to Philadelphia, and the Liberty Bell.
Yes, it's a reproduction, not the original Liberty Bell. Apparently it was built in 1926 for the 150th anniversary of the U.S.

Why would you have a server for a game you have so little understanding about?
0
You aren't the first, you won't be the last.

However, what's with the placement? Doors can be placed facing either direction, which for a room amounts to in or out.
Hatches can only be placed on the bottom edge of a block. They should be placeable on the top edge as well. Then, we could actually walk on them level with the ground, as opposed to dropping essentially into a hole first.

How long have you been playing Minecraft: Several months, on and off.
Age: 32
How much multiplayer experience do you have: Played on a few, never had any problems. Still looking for a vanilla server, since that's how I prefer to play.
edit for the cheesy rules.

Even that aside, HOW are you cheating? Define how, first.
Exploiting known game mechanics (how mobs spawn) is cheating? Then isn't setting torches every x number of blocks apart to prevent mobs from spawning, also cheating? Isn't looking up the crafting recipes online without discovering them yourself also cheating? Or mining in levels 10-16...that's cheating too, then, since you know that's the most likely place for diamonds to be found.
If you load up a fresh map, and don't use any outside programs, etc...how is it cheating? It's within the mechanics allowed by the game.
Since mob traps are generally large structures, I would say editing in materials to build one would be 'cheating' if you are looking to draw a line as to it being cheating. But then it's not the mob trap, it's the editing that is 'cheating.'
And if it's single player, 'cheating' isn't cheating, it's just lying to yourself.

It costs nothing to turn down fancy graphics, and use shorter render distances.

Get a PC for games, not a laptop.
BTW, I have a slower processor, less RAM, and the same graphics card on my laptop, and I can play just fine. I have fancy graphics off, and shorter render distances. But a desktop is still always better for games.

Servers are owned and run by people, and people have biases. For some reason, you were determined to join this server, that you didn't know enough about to be so upset when you were banned from it.
It reminds me of a coworker who was fired. They were often singled out, mistreated, criticized for 'wrong' decisions, and when they hesitated too much to make a decision, they were criticized for that, too. And yet, they were upset about losing their job. I had to ask...if it was so bad, all the time, why stay? If they were being treated so unprofessionally, then what loss is it? They like their new job, it's a nice change, and they feel respected for their knowledge and experience, not constantly criticized for what they don't know. They're finally seeing that in the end, it was for the best.
So, move on, find another server where you will be a better fit.
