It already has the space dimension, it's called the End. Awful topic.

Alvoria posted a message on Checking Clock Texture Pack???Posted in: Resource Pack Discussion
Yea, holiday add-ons are still separate packs for a reason. I kinda figured that's what you were after since it comes up every single year at about this time.
Anyway, happy to be of service. -

Console edition and maybe in the future windows 10 resource pack color plate file. If you intend on doing anything more then view convert it to .csv edit it then reconvert it back to a .col file. Or if you want a direct edit wait a few days for zdoctor's program which sole purpose is for direct editing. It's a bit more fancy.
yes it's environmental colors -

Djarogames posted a message on A backstory to MinecraftPosted in: LiteratureOnce upon a time, the world of Minecraft was a world filled with man-made and naturally generated wonders.
You had the Desertians, a group of people with great knowledge on how to survive with few resources.
They had big cities in the desert, that spanned as far as the eye could see.
They where religious, so they created big temples. Now, after the wind has blown sand around where their kingdoms once were, those are the only things that are high enough to not be buried completely.
Even though the desert people were the richest and had the most welfare of all the empires, because deserts lack resources they heavily relied on trade with the Florans, a group of people who lived in the resource-rich forests.
They were very close to nature and lived a humble life.
This didn't really matter though because the forests had so many resources and they had such big numbers that even if a tiny percentage of their resources went to other kingdoms they would still have more than enough emeralds to support the economy.
However, them being so in sync with nature did eventually lead to their downfall as a way smaller and weaker empire could still quickly become stronger than them if they didn't care so much about nature and took all resources they could find.
Because of their size, the Florans did survive a few attacks but weakened and tired from many battles, they eventually faced an opponent that was just a little bit stronger than them:
The Xodals. A warmongering faction that destroyed everything in their path.
After having destroyed the Desertians and the Florans they build villages everywhere. After the big collapse, a few of them survived, and you can still find them as villagers.
A few mages of them lived in dark oak forests, where they gathered in big mansions and practiced dark magic.
Now let's move on to the big jungles, where tribes lived without even knowing about what was happening outside of it.
They were primitive, but with all the resources in the jungle, they had much stuff and they built great temples filled with traps.
That was until the sea people came. A clan, that lived on islands, that have died out long ago.
They appeared suddenly at the shores, plundered, killed, and left. Their existence is still doubted by many historians since the only evidence of them having existed came from old scrolls found in temples.
So the tribes were destroyed, and after a while, the Xodal empire collapsed because their empire was too big to control. When the monsters came, the empire had already collapsed so there was no army to protect them and almost anyone got killed.
Now, a few thousand years later, the only humans remaining are living in the shadows of the old empires, having to hide every night because they can't do anything against the monsters.
But there is some hope for the worlds left. There is a small faction called the rebuilders. They live far away from each other, and travel the world, helping wherever they can. The world is big, and their numbers are small, so you will likely never see one. But you will see where they have been. Those mineshafts you find? Made by rebuilders. The ones made by the Xodals can still be found in the mesa, but anything deep underground has collapsed by now. Find librarian villagers? They can read, which has probably been thought to them by the rebuilders. If you find an igloo, there's a cactus inside, which shows that the person who built it has come from far. That person was a rebuilder. You're also one of them. You traveled far from the others, so you could help a region advance and become something that could maybe be compared to one of the ancient empires. So the next time you see a village, don't plunder it. Protect it, maybe build a wall or create a farm in any crop they do not have yet, because that's what you're here for.
I hope you liked it.

Alvoria posted a message on Tiling Bug (4x4 Pack)Posted in: Resource Pack HelpThat's not a bug. The grass blocks rotate randomly to break up the pattern. You can disable this behavior by altering the blockstate file for grass to remove the rotations, and including it in your pack. If you need information on how to do that, I suggest This Tutorial which is geared towards people who want to do this intentionally, but of course will also teach you how to remove it as well.
If you have any problems, feel free to post your blockstate file here.

Blue04 posted a message on Which Minecon cape do you like best?Posted in: Minecon
In my mind I think these are the best in order and I have reasons I picked these capes. 2011 has to come number one due to the simple look and the iconic creeper on the cape 2015 cape has to come number two this would have won the 1st place if not just being eyes the amount of detail on the cape other then the eyes really makes the cape look polished and beautiful 2012 has to come 3rd! this beautiful cape with its cool colors really looks nice but the colors in some spots can just look too bright hurting the eyes. NEXT 2015 Yes 2015 the only reason this isn't at the last place is it sorta of fits with the village update in 2015. And the last cape would have to be 2013 thats right 2013 the cape has no reason to even be there in the 1st place and just a boring old piston by it self really makes the cape boring the colors they picked for the cape are terrible green with a oak color? ew. I personally hate this cape and the only way other people could find enjoyment is actually doing a ton of redstone themselves. I hope you enjoyed this really long replay.
Cool, all the capes have the same background texture, just with something on top, so the 2016 cape really isn't that detailed -

Blondeii posted a message on Problem With my resource Pack (sorry if this is the wrong discussion to be posting in)Posted in: Resource Pack HelpThank you
I'm using version 1.8.0 and I'm pretty confident that the texture pack is the same. I downloaded it from Latenci. So I deleted the horses texture and they came back! Yay, no more headless horses :). Thank you so much!

I love the idea. However I would like to suggest a few things. The penguins should only spawn in ice berg areas and snowy mountains. I would love these little guys. If you attack them I think it should start flapping it's wings which will attract near by penguins. Which will come at you and start biting you. They should also create eggs similar to turtles and sit on there eggs. If a penguin is killed and is unable to sit on the egg. The egg will die. These eggs can be crushed. However I provide SUPPORT!

Mojang has stated they will not add sharks. For that part I have no support. However. For the crabs. I love the idea. I don't think they should be fed to breed however. I think they could be fed to dig up shells in the sand for players. Finally. The stick bug. I don't think it would fit into minecraft. So on that part no support.
I give this suggestion Support

I agree with this heavily. Considering how minecraft seems to be upgrading alot of old stuff. Such as the oceans. I think it is about time that the minecarts did get a update. I would like to suggest though that we could make a Shulker box. You would place it into a minecart and when the minecart is broken the box will drop out and the minecart drops on the ground. Allowing you to easily put the minecart back together with the box and take it apart. This would be useful for large scale builds where your friends send you building materials. You could take the box from it and send the minecart back without making a huge mess all over the floor.

True but ya know another way of transportation would be great! Also who don't wanna ride a dolphin!

Hey everybody thank you for coming to minecon 2019 Now I would like to say we completely removed fishing for animal cruelty you can no longer hurt any animals. You can no longer tame wolfs has the bone might get stuck it's neck and kill the wolf. We have removed blocks from the game as they have feelings to. Thank you for coming have a horrible day

Well that is how the normal textures for minecraft are. Except minecraft makes the black parts transparent... So something with your minecraft could be causing problems with transparency.

Sharks would make less people want to do anything with the ocean! Not only do we have to deal with the fish (Which I actually do like and the dolphins) But when your building underwater which is already painful enough you have sharks attacking you and floating all around your base! Or your trying to sail somewhere all of a sudden a shark comes out of the water eats your boat and swims away or you kill it. Now your stuck in the ocean without a boat and possibley will either A: Quit due to there being no land around B: Drown C: Find the closest island and lose everything you had. Sharks would be a terrible idea to add to minecraft.

A minecraft 2 would be a terrible idea due to minecraft being a game that can be expanded + they already did this with windows 10 edition it is a new engine

Minecraft is a ever changing game and will most likely never have a 2.0 version due to a update so big would most likely cause a huge crowd to leave the game what they would most likely to do if they were to do a 2.0 is release it version by version at small updates at a time to see what people would love about the update these would be snapshots also another reason is minecraft changing so big would most likely not be supported on moble/console/bedrock editions of the game due to how huge it is alot less people would buy the game. But this is just my opinion so I can't really ever say it will change enough in one update to become 2.0 and thats also if minecraft survives that long! A update comes out every year to get to that is were on 1.10 if we kept at this rate it would take a extremely long time to reach this. then they have to worry bout people being able to run it and also java being able to support all the items so I would say a no. Unless they really wanted to change minecraft to a whole new level. (Sorry for all the spelling errors I am quite aware of them and I do not know how to fix them so don't judge)
