    The OP wants to talk about things we miss from older versions and perhaps later in Minecraft's life there'll be an option for reverting textures back to Alpha/Beta days for the nostalgic crowd who can't be bothered to use MCNostalgia (me).


    I agree we should all be considerate of other people and their opinions but this topic has been driven into the ground. Every 2-3 days there's a new "WHO MISSES ALPHA?!" or "MINECRAFT JUST ISNT THE SAME..." thread on the forums and they're all identical.

    This launcher is absolutely AMAZING... I like to use/try a lot of different mods so this has saved me a ridiculous amount of time. <3

    The only difficulty I'm having is that I don't really know how to fix the "no mods found" status that some mods have. They're all properly formatted into .zip folders and my Log only gives me information on any errors I may have, so I'm not sure what the problem is. In case it's of any relevance though, I'll include my log. I'm sorry in advanced if this is a really stupid question, it's just that I'm not very knowledgeable about how to read reports and use this type of program correctly. :/

    - I have 3 errors with Forge, 3 errors with OptiFine Smooth, 3 errors with Unofficial Better Enchanting, and 1 error with Auto Fishing but all of them with the exception of Auto Fishing work fine in-game.
    - More Health RPG, Goblins! Mod, Advanced Water Shader, Millenaire, and Better Stackable (not Risugami's) all say "No mods found" so they simply don't exist in-game.

    It seems to be an error specifically with the ModLoaderMP version of Smart Moving.

    Like some other people, I was having the "NoSuchMethodError" problem while trying to use that version but when I tried the ModLoader version of Smart Moving it worked fine, even though I'm using ModLoaderMP. I'd suggest you try that until the OP gets a chance to look into the issues with the ModLoaderMp version(s). :3

    EDIT: I'm not entirely sure if the ModLoader version is for both Client and Server, because it's not separated into one or the other like the ModLoaderMP versions are. As a result, this may or may not work if you're trying to set up a server with Smart Moving. :/

    EDIT 2: As Blue_Legion pointed out, it may very well be an issue with ModLoaderMP rather than with this version of Smart Moving. I just wanted to make sure that my post didn't come across as me trying to single out/blame this mod specifically. : P

    It only consists of a well, a church, and a blacksmith's house with a tiny bit of gravel road. Has anyone else ever had this happen before? I've literally never found a village nearly this small before, I was pretty surprised.

    I always wanted to get into the "superflat challenge" stuff, especially with the improve villages this patch, but I hated how the world type completely eliminated the mining aspect of MINEcraft. >.>

    EDIT: When I made a SuperFlat 64 world with Sand I wasn't able to find a single Village or mob but when I used Glowstone I immediately found a giant village. :/

    EDIT 2: It actually seems to be a problem with SuperFlat 64, rather than the block type, because Superflat 128 works perfectly for me. (my Glowstone world was 128 and I've tested it with a few other worlds too)

    I'm using the Magic Launcher (made by the creator of OptiFine) and I can't seem to get Dynamic Lights to work with it. Dynamic Lights was working perfectly fine before I started to use the launcher, and I've tried both the MCPatcher OptiFine version method and non-MCPatcher method but it simply doesn't show up in game. I'm not exactly sure what could be going on because I don't ever crash or get an error report, my game just acts like I never downloaded Dynamic Lights. >.>

    Does anyone know if this mod incompatible with Magic Launcher or if I'm just missing something? xP

    Would it be possible to add some sort of command that temporarily disables the Terraria style tree chopping? I used Treecapitator before 1.2.3 which allows you to chop wood normally while holding C and it was an incredibly convenient addition to the mod. Perhaps, if it's not too difficult to do, you could maybe make a toggle where you're able to turn the mod on and off at will by pressing a single key. For example, Smart Moving gives you the option to enable Sneaking by toggling it on and off rather than by continuously holding Shift, which my pinky finger absolutely loves. : P

    I'm having a problem when trying to install CJB's Mods as they simply don't appear at all in game, without making me crash or causing errors. I posted about it in CJB's thread and he said that the issue seems to be with TMI breaking ModLoader's "onTickinGame" function.

    If you could address this issue that would be wonderful, because I simply can't live without TMI anymore. : P I understand though if my request isn't given much priority as I'm sure you're already very busy. The only reason I ask rather than just assuming it's an un-fixable incompatibility is because Zombe's Mods, which were causing the same problem, resolved the issue with a new update.
