    Considering I'm doing 1.7 and having rewrite major components of the mod, no, 1.6 is not viable.

    I'm fairly certain being an Android dev does not imply paying clients nor do I believe when I have a full time job I will be studying full time simultaneously. You guys HAVE to keep that in mind. I am a student with limited free time. Coding every waking moment is not ideal in any scenario. Summer just started so hopefully coding will pick up momentum. We are working on it right now the IDE says 224 errors remain... however then we have to test and readd some features that were commented out.

    You don't need a twitter account to view tweets, only reply. The streams are not FOR information but they provide information.

    It doesn't matter if you have a neon sign, fireworks or what ever
    NOT EVERYONE READS THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING.
    However, we will release it when it is ready.

    No, you are not all "spoiled children"; however, maintaining 3 different sources of the exact same information is highly unintuitive and popularity has nothing do to with it. Personally I find the text editor here a pain to deal with for NEW information to format nicely. I could just use a paragraph form, but as we mentioned before: Many people don't like reading. We will have a website up soon that will handle not only XyCraft, but my other projects as well so you won't have to go to twitch or twitter (though I don't see how hard it is to go to them.)

    The over abundance of ore has been fixed and the method of gunning them have changed. Fabricators are definitely still in, but we have a few Multi-Blocks as well as the power-net for the next version.

    Being 35, 25,10, 72, I don't care; age is not a credibility form factor here. If you don't find the mod useful and only wish to complain further, find a different forum to utilize. I'm sure the Moderators would appreciate it.

    Alright guys let's clear some things up:
    1. XyCraft is a WIP mod. Which means: Work in Progress. You can check out updates on Twitter.Com/Soaryn117 or Twitch.tv/Soaryn . Since I am indeed in College my time is limited to what I can do which means I am not only devoted to the mod. I have a life I need to make sure is going well before a mod is worked on.
    2. This place is not a place to discuss comparisons of other mods, how long it has been, or anything else. This thread is specifically for XyCraft. If you find yourself being in an angry mood or upset in anyway I ask that you take a moment and consider if your next message is going to sound harsh. This is a place of happiness so any negative comments I ask you take them elsewhere.
    3. I am having fun creating content and I am not planning on going anywhere at the moment. I will continue to develop XyCraft 'til it is ready to go then release to you guys. In terms of splitting it up into modules, we have ALREADY done that, but the primary problems that exist: I have moved the Multi-Block code to Core but in the process we are converting it to Scala as well. At this time the Multi-Block code is broken, and with this being in core means that it will serve no purpose to release yet. We are getting closer, but comments such as "ReLEAse it NOAOAOAW" don't help.
    I hope you guys can sit tight! Please give the mods a break and don't give them a reason to lock the thread because you haven't explored all of the avenues of information. MCF is NOT my primary outlet of information so please check the twitter and twitch streams.

    Thank you for your time I'll check back tomorrow to clear any more confusion up if need be.

    The main problem is, all MY code has drastically changed since then.

    1.5 was going to be my break all the things update but with 1.6 Id rather only have one of those. So this way existing 1.5 worlds can update without issues from Xy. 1.4.7 worlds will not be updated smoothly, there is no way around that. ( I do have retrogen)

    Any more people who decide to comment about a 1.5 update, Just know I wont change mymind, we have far too much work done in 1.6 to allow for the version that Sevadus has to be utilized in mass, he has it since he has access to ForgeCraft.

    I know some of you start new worlds every update, however I don't feel comfortable with a mass (the people who don't) coming at me for a world I may have ruined from 1.5 due to their inability to read. (I don't like reading so why should I make others?)

    1.6 will be a fun and epic update, but with having to constantly bash down the 1.5 proposals more and more time is wasted. So I ask you all, please be patient.

    Essentially 1.6 is when this mod will leave the WIP section of MCF... I distribute XyCraft on my wiki.
    The reason I wont update a pubic version for 1.5 has nothing to do with FTB or laziness. 1.5 was done back in the first few weeks of MC updating. The reason I wont update is because XyCraft for 1.5 is not really backwards compat to 1.4 and same with 1.6 however that is , again, when Xy will move to the mods section.

    Trying to treat this as a end product with users who are paid users is kinda odd. There is no where that says anyone is entitled to demanding the mod for some version.

    I understand the impatience, I used to be a Mod user, before deving. HOWEVER, I ask that everyone refrain from assuming or plugging in their opinions on why or why not I released a version. I have stated the reasons in all forms thus far: Stream, forum, twitter etc.

    1.6 is the next version and it IS distributed by me, not soley FTB. This entire thread will be either moved or deleted when the XyCaft 1.6 comes so don't you worry. Check my twitter for updates. This text editor is too tedious to sign on and use ;)

    I made that comment of you waiting for FTB because of a mod pack comment you had on the OP a while back, but to be honest I never check the forum normally check the wiki so scratch that part. but to clarify it stated that new versions will be released through FTB. But as I said scratch that since the comment is gone. edit button comes in handy.

    When you started up the running client it showed the version 1.5.2 on one stream when you were working on the mod. You were trying to add ladders to the mod and yet you say you did not have a version for those? personally I don't believe people say they never had a version when it was clearly noticeable on a stream. Not even a dev version so people could help with bug testing.

    I do appreciate that your working on the mod but to deny that you didn't have a version at the time is more frustrating.

    Currently I have to use the Dynamic tank from Mekansim mod just to beable to have shaped tanks that fit a more compact area. Because like many people that know how to add mods to a pack.... We move on. Already gave up ever using Redpower even if it gets released again now I'm waiting for ProjectRed as it is the leading replacement to RP. And open source.

    It would be better if this mod clustered the crystals you could get underground into a more compact area like a cavern or underground crystal cave instead of speckled across the map making hundreds of holes underground. something similar to how forestry has its apatite now. think of a huge GEODE. or another style is the railcraft's abysmal stone area's that have either lapis diamond or emerald inside a abysmal cave.

    So give people a dev version if you have too just so they can help you. and to be honest I don't mind if you do not release a 1.6 version yet because there is not anywhere near enough mods out to make a mega pack for it. but a 1.5.2 version would be nice... this mod like RP seems to not be on the future lists of FTB packs. hopefully that changes.

    The 1.5 Is not releasable in its current state nor will that change as I'm already in 1.6.
    That stream is well passed as well ladders have been in for a few weeks now.
    I never said I didn't have a 1.5 version in dev. I said I was skipping it, in this case a public version. Releasing a dev build would be counter productive as most of those bugs have been fixed. So no. I will not release a 1.5, don't know why you try to start drama, but drop it.

    If you don't want the mod why bother posting, if you do want the mod just be patient. Making code, textures, models etc, takes time.

    Regarding stability I'd rather fix the bugs I KNOW about before releasing. I'm not looking for 100%stability but I would like to get a solid build. Also note, this mod is in the WIP section for a reason :P

    Wow... that isn't even close to correct sir. I won't release 1.5 as 1.6 worlds will not be compatible with it. And 1.6 still has some work to do. So please keep your conspiracy theories to yourself. Thank youI am indeed skipping 1.5 there are too many changes I have made to even be close to compatible with it. 1.6 will be the next release. Also begging/whining/asking for a 1.5 won't change anything. I am NOT waiting on FTB in any way and will get a release as soon as XyCraft is stable oncemore. Thanks for being patient :)

    hrmmm that is concerning.. I don't have that code set anymore; however, I suspect a block ID conflict. try turning on Auto assign and copying the numbers down for the blocks. That is currently a bug I know but it is fixed afaik in 1.5.x

    Erm no?.... I have made it as general as possible. Canspawn = false... Mo'Creatures dont follow vanilla spawn rules. Is it a jar mod? If so there is the problem :-(

    If I want to run update chickenbones stuff then I can't have the dyes... If I want dyes then I can't update chickenbones =/. Honestly I'm not to worried about it but it would be nice to not having my bee users yelling at me and refusing to agree to a rollback because they don't want to lose progress. Hopefully this gets sorted out whenever you have time and good luck with development of the mod.


    Er... the liquid capsules from my mod are coming back later. XCompwiz is working on a pull request so I dont have to rely on hacky methods. Hoping that will be put in soon. Also I could add some temp recipes for the liquids; however, All current Tanks/guis with the exception of the XyCraft Dev and EnderTanks fail to render my liquids properly. I thought at first it was me but we have established it is not. If Buildcraft and the other mods that add tanks dont add this fix in soon, I'll just ignore it andadd it anyway. Im trying to be kind by not opening the floodgates for rendering issues. (Giving them some time to fix it seems like an ideal choice to me)

    Btw what does Binnie have to do with this?

    I'll code what I can, but whether or not it is unique is now skewed. There seems to be a large variations of definitions with the word in this community so I will try my best. If nothing else we will have this nifty power system that will actually be used for a few misc functions.

    In the same way it was with ArsMagica_RC_5.32.272
    I updated to ArsMagica_5.36.040-Universal and all was well


    I think I might have a solution but no guarantees. Ill try to get another update out tomorrow (Feb 22)

    And I still have yet to find another game like Black and White 2....
