    BETA 1.6.6 COMING THIS WEEK!


    For me, this is an annoyance, and it probably is for modders too.

    There are still mods in 1.5_01 which include some of our favorite mods (Mo' Creatures, Pistons, and More Creeps and Weirdos) and mods struggling to keep up with the ever changing updates, which are the more simpler mods (with the exception of Kinniken's Millenaire mod, he does updates about every 3 DAYS!!!!!) and Notch has announced that sooner or later he will implement Official Modding Support into minecraft so modders don't have to worry about updating, they just have more flexibilty with what they can do with minecraft.

    Right now whenever minecraft updates (and now it is about every day for 1.6), and it ISN'T my fault that Notch's bugfix update caused alot more bugs (but the actual 1.6, UBER-LAGGGGGGG) but it is to improve minecraft, but we gamers have to wait for good mods to improve minecraft even MORE! As I said before, OFFICIAL MODDING SUPPORT - GOOD GOOD, but right now,

    UGHHHHHHHHHHHH

    My progress went REALLY WELL!!! i would have made a video playthrough but i don't have fraps :sad.gif:
    i basically made a huge two story inn (much like the one Dan21 made), an unfinished bridge going to the mainland (yes, i saw the mountains while expanding the island for my projects) an underwater portal to the nether, a farm right off the island, a huge mine and quarry, a HUGE HUGE underground tree farm (used to be my first quarry), and a zombie trap (the skeleton one got blown up by a pissed off creeper, GDANG u creepers!!! you ruined one of the challeneges!) once i feel like i have totally THRIVED on the island, I shall go through the underwater portal, travel far in the nether, and GTFO of there!!!

    For some reason it works a hell of a lot better (145 FPS!!!!! Vanilla peaks at 70 with better perfomance settings) when i have it on these settings:
    Graphics: Fancy
    Reander Distance: Far
    Limit Framerate: Off
    3D: Off
    View Bobbing: On
    Smooth Lighting: On
    GUI Scale: Automatic
    Fog: Fast
    Fog Start: 0.8
    Mipmap Level: 4
    Mipmap Type: Linear
    Load Far: On
    Preloaded Chunks: 8
    Smooth FPS: Om
    Brightness: 2
    Advanced OpenGL: Off

    And when its on fast, tiny, and all of the other ones obscured to their tiniest level that you would think would be the fastest, it goes down to 10 FPS
    ANYONE WANT TO TRY TO EXPLAIN???

    Is this compatible with OptiFog??? or should I install it before I patch minecraft.jar????
    everytime i install it AFTER I patch Minecraft, the menu never appears and is only black, but it doesn't crash.
    Any help???

    Omg too many updates!!!
    Its good but every time i see the post i see and update and something good so im like "ooo gotta download and reload" and 3-5 days later i see something good AGAIN and i dont want to miss out on anything from millenaire
    this is a small request but if you can make it so that every update has at least the amount of content of 2 updates right now?
    it would be a bit more convient if so
