Picture it.
You're walking through an abandoned town, looking through houses. You see everything you'd ever need to survive. You decide to go get materials to build onto your town. You come back and start building. It suddenly turns night and skeletons start pouring out from the houses.
Swords, pickaxes, axes and shovels for tools. Redstone and Diamond ore for ores. They look great. Redstone torches, redstone powder, buttons, pressure pads, levers, signs, doors for items. There's probably more, but I forget.
I don't think it really matters where you save it as long as you're putting them into the saves folder. Don't forget to change the folder (of the save you downloaded's) name to an empty slot. Unless you want to replace a world, then you'd just keep the name and delete the old one.
Try saving to someplace like your Desktop. Then, go to run and type in this:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves
Or this:
%appdata%\.minecraft\saves
Then, just drag them into the folder from your desktop.

Whoa, rather rude little ******* we have here.
It's not his fault almost every repeat thread is answered with "USE SEARCH DERP", etc.
Basically, water pushes the mobs (zombies in mine) into a downward current of water where they drown. The current then pushes the feathers to me where I can safely collect them.
Invertin, if you want to find them try grid mining and tunneling around. They're usually attached to caves that don't have an obvious entrance, so you usually have to dig for them. There are some that appear really close to the surface, though.
I don't see why people don't like new players asking questions about the game. The answers help them progress in the game.
Maybe they wanted to find everything out on their own and didn't want to use the wiki or the forums.
The best things to do if you find a repeat thread are:
Answer the question.
Ignore the thread.
Let it die.
No need to flame the person for being new. Sorry for a bit of mini-modding. The way people handle these threads irritates me.
