That past few updates haven't broken anything. I have worlds from beta 1.3 that are still fine. And if you are worried about an update breaking your worlds, back it up and load it in the new update. If everything is fine, then cool. If it's not, then downgrade and continue playing your backup until a fix comes or you just decide not to care anymore. I keep backups of all my favorite worlds even if I can't play them in new updates. That way, I still have to look at and admire.

I, along with many others, gave him our opinions and ideas on Jeb's original Reddit topic.It seems the general consensus is that people like having a max of 50 levels, they are okay with the random enchanting, they would like to be able to choose what level they enchant something, and would like getting XP easier and more fun. I believe Jeb will take all of that into consideration.

But doesn't it say in the ToS that any mod is technically aloud to be implemented into the game without any fuss? They shouldn't have to be paid to let Notch/Jeb put a mod into the game. They made the mod within Minecraft so it belongs to them, not the modder.
