Addressing 1a: Didn't Notch/Jeb say they *wanted* it to be like that? So the community worked together for info? Not just handing the player all the secrets of the universe.
I'm completely fine with all the aspects of Minecraft. I've played since Alpha and it's all good to me. I like the mobs, the difficulty, and everything else. And to top it all off, I'm not a fanboy. I do like the game a lot, and I would stand by any decision Mojang makes but if they put a stupid thing into the game, I wont blindly defend it.

And about 7a: I agree. But to him saying how they should change the Steve default character is...*utterly stupid* It doesn't make the game any better or worse.
-Max enchanting cap is 30
-But getting the high enchants (such as fortune III) require a bit more tries.
-It take 17 xp to get one level, no matter what level you are: going to level 99 to 100 is as easy to gain the first level.
Everything seems alright except that last bit. Seems a bit unbalanced.
Make it 5 blocks tall and make sure to be at least 24 blocks away from it. I would suggest using water to carry the slimes to the 24-blocks-away place so that you needn't go back and forth for slimes.
Yes it is, but for the immense benefit they give, it still strikes me as somewhat short of their potential, a 'cheap' recepie for such a massive bonus, if you will.
That is hardly cheap for all the work you need to do to make them. They aren't even that OP. It's just a bit of extra space.
But the Enderchest - I do not believe one has to do quite enough work to get it,
You need 16 Obsidian, a blaze rod, and 2 Ender Pearls to make 2 of them. Meaning you need to find diamonds, make a Nether portal, find a Stronghold, defeat blazes, and defeat Endermen. That is quite a bit of work.
I believe that you shouldn't be able to pick the chest up once you place it, so you'll have to craft a chest for every base you have, and not just always carry the same one with you.

That is why they need to be able to be picked back up. It's as bad as TNT was before 1.7. At least with TNT you could just set it off and fix the damage. If you misplace a block that is physically impossible to break or get rid of. Just make it take a while to break. Like obsidian.

The Devs don't really spend an immense amount of time on these Forums. They spend more time on Reddit.
