posted a message on The End v2 (PICTURES INCLUDED) [v1.4]

Welcome to The End v2, one of the biggest upgrades suggested for The End so far. This thread will include two new mobs, many new items and an entirely new concept for The End. It will also include a few minor upgrades to the current The End and its inhabitants. Through this idea I am trying to make The End a far more interesting place and a highly anticipated area in Minecraft.

Before I begin, I would also like to note that this suggestion is for vanilla Minecraft. Perhaps in the future this will become a mod but right now I'm not making it nor am I organizing for it to happen. I guess it all comes down to how well Notch makes the final version of The End which will decide whether this becomes a mod or not. :wink.gif:

    Conclusion/Support

    Mobs:

    Endermen:

    Spawn: The End, Overworld

    Health: 20

Description: Endermen are a neutral mob and will only attack the player when provoked. You will provoke an Endermen to fight you if you look at it in the eyes and then look away after. When fighting an Endermen it will teleport around you to avoid being hit. When it comes in contact with water it will take a small amount of damage, although it will try to avoid falling into the water by teleporting away. They can pick up a range of different blocks and place them where they please. In the new, The End, Endermen will be a lot less common because there are now new mobs.

    Drops: Ender Pearl

    Dark Spirit:

    Spawn: The End

    Health: 30

Description: Dark Spirits are the second most dangerous mob in The End, following just behind the Ender Dragon. They are a hostile mob and will attack you when you have been noticed. Dark Spirits are quite rare to encounter compared to Endermen and Shadow Critters. About 1/30 mobs found in The End will be a Dark Spirit. When fighting a Dark Spirit you will notice it’s unique form of combat. When they notice you they will start to fly towards you and when they get close to you they will split into five Dark Spirits. Only one of these however is the real Dark Spirit. Hitting a fake Dark Spirit will make it instantly disappear after one hit. If you hit the real Dark Spirit, all the fakes will disappear. After it hits you all the fakes will disappear and the Dark Spirit will quickly flee backwars about 5 to 10 blocks. It will then restart this process over again. If it does manage to hit you, the damage will range from 1 to 5 health points. This unique form of combat will be quite different to anything previously seen in Minecraft.

    Drops: Spirit Diamond

    Shadow Critter:

    Spawn: The End

    Health: 10

Description: Shadow Critters are the weakest mob in The End, but they are not necessarily easy to defeat. They are a neutral mob and will only attack you if you attack them. They will also attack you if you attack another Shadow Critter within a 10 block radius. Shadow Critters are quite small being about 1 block high in height. When fighting a Shadow Critter they will sometimes turn themselves invisible, leaving a very faint glow around them. They will only stay invisible for up to about 10 seconds. They only way to force them out of being invisible is to hit them successfully. Shadow Critters will run around you quickly and attack you from different positions.

    Drops: Shadow Crystal

    Bosses:

    Ender Dragon:

    Spawn: The End

    Health: 100

Description: The Ender Dragon is the hardest boss in the game with a total of 100 health points. It is basically impossible to defeat without the use of potions, splash potions, enchantments, food and good tactics. The Ender Dragon will destroy any block that it flies through with the exception of whitestone and obsidian. This means that it will only destroy blocks that you bring into The End. Ender Dragons are a neutral mob and will only attack you if you enter their nest. They fight using a mixture of fire attacks and melee attacks.

Life Cycle: When The End is first generated it will generate one nest somewhere in the world. When you enter that nest the Ender Dragon will turn from neutral to hostile to protect the egg in the nest. The egg is quite big and will not hatch while the Ender Dragon is still alive. When you kill the dragon and leave The End the egg will hatch and a new Ender Dragon will re-spawn. When you re-enter The End you will be able to see this new Ender Dragon. Upon returning to the nest you will notice a new egg in a new location. This cycle repeats itself every time the Ender Dragon is killed.

Drops: The Ender Blade, Dragon Bone [x2] and Dragon Scale [x15].

    Items:

    The Ender Blade:

The Ender Blade is unlike any other sword in Minecraft. Firstly, it doesn’t follow the same template as other swords. I thought that since this would be an extremely rare sword it deserved a new and individual look. Secondly, each player can only obtain one The Ender Blade at a time. The Ender Dragon will not drop a second sword if you still have one in possession but if you somehow obtain a second via a friend or whatever your old one will disappear. Third and finally, although The Ender Blade will lose charges as you use it, it will not disappear upon using all of its charge. For this weapon instead of having to obtain another you will have to repair it.

When you first obtain The Ender Blade it will be damaged and unusable. To be able to use it you will have to repair it first (as mentioned above). To repair The Ender Blade use the following recipe.

After repairing it you will finally be able to use it in combat. The Ender Blade will be better than a Diamond Sword but not so good that it overpowers every mob in the game. However, The Ender Blade will last no longer than a Diamond Sword and then you will have to repair it again.

Apart from all of this, The Ender Blade also has a special ability which is only available in this particular sword. If you kill a mob with this sword there will be a 1/10 chance of the mob additionally dropping a ‘Blood Heart’. They will look something like this:

If you pick up ‘Blood Heart’ it will restore 1 full heart in your health bar. ‘Blood Hearts’ will not be able to be stored in your inventory; they will go into effect immediately. Thus you can not collect them and use them whenever you want.

    Dragon Scale Armour:

    PICTURE COMING SOON!

Dragon Scale Armour is not like typical Minecraft armour. Unlike normal armour, Dragon Scale Armour is best at absorbing projectile attacks from mobs such as Ghasts, Skeletons and Blazes. Dragon Scale Armour will absorb melee attacks as well but no better than Diamond Armour does. It will use the same template as all other armour with the exception of a different colour and texture.

A special ability this armour also obtains is the ‘Deflect Ability’. This ability only works when fighting a mob which uses ranged-type attacks (eg. Skeletons, Blazes and Ghasts). What the ‘Deflect Ability’ does is when you are fighting these mobs you’ll have a 1/10 chance of the attack being deflected back at them. This also works in multiplayer PvP if somebody tries attacking you with a bow and arrows you will have a chance of deflecting that arrow as well. To put this into context, if a Ghast shoots fire at you then there is a 1/10 chance that they will receive the damage instead.

To obtain Dragon Scale Armour you will have to collect Dragon Scales from the Ender Dragon. Every time you kill an Ender Dragon it will drop a total of 15 Dragon Scales which is just enough to create a platebody and leggings. If you want to create the helmet and boots you will have to return to the dragon and fight it again.

Sadly, unlike the Blade of the Damned, you will not be able to easily repair your Dragon Scale Armour. Like all other armour in Minecraft armour when you use all of the charges in your Dragon Scale Armour it will disappear and if you want to get it again you’ll have to refight the Ender Dragon to obtain more scales.

    Ender Pearl:

Ender Pearls are dropped by Endermen in both The End and the Overworld. When thrown you will teleport to the location were the land but you will also accumulate a small amount of damage.

    Spirit Diamond:

Spirit Diamonds are dropped by Dark Spirits in The End. If you right click while holding a Spirit Diamond it will shatter and your character will split into five. However, only one of these will really be you. Mobs will attack any of the five characters. If they hit one of the four fakes they will instantly disappear after one hit. If they hit the real you all the fakes will disappear and the fight will continue.

    Shadow Crystal:

Shadow Crystals are dropped by Shadow Critters in The End. Same as the Spirit Diamond, if you right click while holding a Shadow Crystal it will shatter. This will unleash a magical effect and will make your player invisible for up to 10 seconds. This effect will instantly ware off once you hit a mob.

    Dragon Bone:

A Dragon Bone is a larger version of the current bone which is dropped by Skeletons. They are dropped by Ender Dragons in The Ender. These will have no different use to a normal bone other than when crafting them into bone meal instead of producing 3 bone meal, it will create 10. Ender Dragon’s will drop two of these bones every time you kill one of them.

    Dragon Scale:

Dragon Scales are dropped by Ender Dragons in The Ender. They have but one use which is to create Dragon Scale Armour. Each Ender Dragon will drop a total of 15 Dragon Scales which is just enough for you to create the platebody and leggings. Creating the helmet and boots will require you to kill a second Ender Dragon.

    Blocks:

    Whitestone:

Whitestone is the block which makes up the majority of The End. It has similar properties to stone. It is white in colour and requires a pickaxe to mine. Right now when you mine it will drop cobblestone instead of whitestone. However, I propose this should be changed. Upon mining whitestone it should drop a whitestone block so that adventurers can take it back to the Overworld to display in their homes.

    Obsidian:

Obsidian is used to build the Obelisks which are scattered throughout The End.

    Blackstone:

Blackstone is a rare block in The End. It looks similar to whitestone in texture but is almost pitch black in colour. Blackstone is only used to build the Dragons Nest. Blackstone retains similar properties to that of bedrock. Blackstone cannot be mined, thus it cannot be taken back into the Overworld.

    Dragon Egg:

Only ONE Dragon Egg will spawn in each world. This block will only spawn in The End inside a Dragons Nest. Just as Blackstone, the Dragon Egg is an unbreakable block.

    Portal Block:

A Portal Block is exactly the same as The End Portal blocks used in the Overworld to access The End. Even in The End it is no different.

    Structures:

    Plains:

The plains make up the majority of The End. They are formed of whitestone blocks.

    Obelisks:

Obelisks are scattered all throughout The End. They are giant tower-like structures which are made purely from obsidian.

    Portal:

    PICTURE COMING SOON!

The portal in The End which takes you back to the Overworld looks exactly the same as the portal leading from the Overworld to The End. However, every time you enter The End the portal will reset again. Three of the sides (9/12 portal blocks) will have an Eye of Ender placed in them making the portal 3/4 activated. The twist being the last 3/12 blocks are not activated with Eye of Ender’s. Instead, you must fill these blocks with an Ender Pearl, Spirit Diamond and Shadow Pearl which you must obtain by killing mobs in The Ender. Once you place these three gems into the remaining three portal blocks the portal will open again returning you to the Overworld.

    Dragons Nest:

In The End it will only generate ONE Dragons Nest on each world. This nest is home to the Ender Dragon and entering it will result in the Ender Dragon returning back there to fight you. The Dragons Nest is made up of entirely Blackstone, which cannot be mined (as with bedrock). In the Dragons Nest will sometimes be little scattered pools of lava. There will also be a dragon egg which will only hatch once the Ender Dragon has been slain (and after you re-enter The End).

    Quote from Hyomoto

Really. Really? You are making suggestions for an unfinished feature. THERE ISN'T EVEN A (so-called) 1.0 and you have suggestions on how to make the next version? There is not enough sarcasm and hate speech to describe how moronic this, and all threads like it, truly are.

Can you at least WAIT for the final product before you decide what the game needs?

Have you read the title of this forum yet? It called the 'suggestions' forum. That means whatever is posted here is classified as a 'suggestion'. I'm 'suggesting' some of my thoughts as to how The End could be. As for the 'v2', it's a title, I did it to help promote my idea. That way people don't think I've just added one or two features. If you have a problem with my decision for a title or the fact that I'm suggesting something in a suggestions forum perhaps then you need to learn to grow up.

posted a message on ¿Do you like the new NPCs?
They're useless at the moment. Right now I would not even care or notice if Notch removed them.

    1) Redesign their look. They look like Squidward from Spongebob, not a Minecraft character.
    2) Make them more interactive and allow them to engage in conversation.
    3) Allow them to trade with you and give you rare/exclusive items.
    4) NPC's should be able to give you quests such as bringing them certain ores and items.
    5) Let the NPC's 'interact' and produce more NPC's for their village.
    6) Make them expand their villages by building new buildings and facilities.
    7) Allow them to cook cakes and other foods using materials they create.

I know this is all farfetched, but it would make NPC's so much more fun and useful. :tongue.gif:

posted a message on Dragon's Keep - New Boss Idea! (PICTURES INCLUDED)

Visit the thread for this suggestions on Get Satisfaction.

Since the creation of Minecraft players have been waiting for but one thing, Boss Mobs. In the upcoming '1.9 Pre-Release #5' Notch will probably be releasing his 'Ender Dragon'. This is the first and closest thing in Minecraft to a Boss Mob, so as you'd expect players are getting extremely excited. But why stop at Ender Dragons when you can have even more!?

Right now when your exploring caverns all you ever find is dungeons every now and again and very rarely a stronghold. A 'Dragon's Keep' will be just as rare as a stronghold but with one twist, it will contain an extremely hard boss - a dragon.

When exploring caverns you might be lucky enough to come across something like this:

Be weary about entering these rooms as what lies inside is dangerous and deadly. If you do decide to enter, you'll find yourself in a room looking something like this (obviously it will generate differently every time but they will look somewhat similar):

In the room is decaying ruins where a dragon has been locked away for centuries. Because it has been imprisoned here for so long it has grown fierce and it will attack you with all it's might. It's fire is harsh because it has been surrounded by hot molten lava for such a long time. Thus it is recommended you bring a few 'Fire Resistance Potions' to protect yourself as much as possible.

Behind the dragon is a double chest filled with valuable rewards which will be much worth your fight against the ferocious beast. However, taking the loot is not as easy as it seems. The chest is locked and can only be opened or destroyed once you have used a special key on it. The only problem with this is the dragon swallowed the key so you will have to kill it to be able to unlock the chest.

Once you've killed the dragon and obtained the key you will be able to unlock the chest and loot it's valuable rewards. Possible rewards from the chest include multiple diamonds, golden apples, music discs and other treasures which Minecraft players consider rare.

Besides the treasures you are rewarded from the chest, you will also be able to collect a multitude of drops from the dragon itself. The drops from the dragon will always include:

Key - A key is used to unlock the chest behind the dragon. The key is only specific to the Dragon Keep of which it came. Trying to use it in another Keep will result in the key disintegrating and will not be able to be recovered. After using it on the correct chest the key will also disintegrate and the chest will become permanently unlocked.

Dragon Scale - A dragon scale has two main purposes. The first is that it can be used as an alternative to flint for making arrows. Using a dragon scale for the arrow head will make the arrow do more damage and it will have an increased chance of reappearing after being fired. The second use is for a new kind of potion: the defense potion. Because a dragon has such thick skin it will be perfect for a defense potion. A defense potion will reduce all damage done to both your health and armour from all combat-related damage (not fall damage, suffocation, etc).

Dragon Bone - A dragon bone is like all other bones in Minecraft although it will be quite a lot bigger and it can be crafted into a total of ten bonemeal as opposed to three bonemeal from a regular bone.

As with all mobs, dragons will also give experience. But because a dragon is going to be quite hard to defeat it will give the player a lot more experience than normal. On rare occasions dragons will also drop various pieces of armour and weaponry that it has swallowed when killing past adventurers visiting its Keep.

Anyway, this is basically the concept of my idea. All feedback would be appreciated as I would love to get this idea to be as perfect as possible. Oh, and thanks for taking the time to read this. :happy.gif:

Disclaimer: The picture of the dragon used in the below images was created by Rhinoceroscity. The rooms displayed below were designed and built by me. The key, dragon scale and dragon bone were also created by me. If you use any of the below pictures (excluding the dragon) please link back to this thread or give me credit.

Modding: This idea is aimed to be released in Vanilla Minecraft in the Overworld (normal realm) but if anybody wants to turn this into a mod it's fine by me. Just make sure you request permission here first so I know what is happening. :wink.gif:

posted a message on Tools, Weapons, Armour, Ranging & Combat Overhaul
Tools, Weapons, Armour, Ranging & Combat Overhaul

I recently read a thread on these forums about how right now the system for tools, weapons and armour is out of balance. One of their key points was; once you’ve got diamond items you’ve basically finished the game. This really got me thinking and I realized how right this person was. Diamond isn’t that hard to get and once you’ve got it you can easily get more and nothing is a challenge anymore.

Upon thinking about how ti improve tools, weapons and armour I also got some ideas for improving combat and ranged which were inspired by the way I've redesigned tools, weapons and armour. I’ve put quite a lot of thought into this and I’ve tried to rethink everything in a way that would make Minecraft far more interesting and would continually give players something to do. I’m also hoping that these ideas will make combat a little more challenging and rewarding.

My idea involves many new tools, weapons and armour as well as a tier system to make existing weapons far more powerful and unique if you have the requirements to do so. I've also written about a ranging upgrade which includes a few new bows and many new kinds of arrows. In the final section of this thread I’ve also described an idea to make combat a little more interesting and challenging.

Once you've read this thread please post any feedback you want to give on this idea and vote on the poll. If you haven't read this thread first please don't bother voting of commenting your feedback.

    Contents (BACK TO TOP)
Section 1 – Tiers NOW BEING ADDED TO THE GAME! :biggrin.gif:
Section 2 – Soul Fragments & Soul Items
    Section 3 – Rare Items
    Section 4 – Ranging Rework
    Section 5 – Damage Spots

EDIT: Notch is now adding a new system called 'Enchantment'. It is basically the same as my idea but with a few things tweaked. It features a similar tier system but only contains three tiers instead of the five that I suggested. Also, instead of using an 'Obelisk' you just need an 'Enchantment Table'. I'm not sure if Notch read this idea or not, but I'm glad he's finally adding something like this to the game. :tongue.gif:

Section 1 – Tiers (BACK TO TOP)
Many games now have some kind of ‘tier’ system for their tools, weapons and armour. If you don’t know what a ‘tier’ system is it’s basically a ranking going from lowest to highest based on the effectiveness of the item (last long, more effective, higher requirements, etc).

    To upgrade your tools, weapons and armour you will need to find an obelisk. An obelisk would be a small structure which spawns randomly throughout the world. The structure would be one block wide/deep and two blocks high. The blocks will be made out of would be a new block which would look something like this;

That’s just a rough image but basically it will be a light grey block with tiny blue specs on it and it would give out a faint blue glow. The obelisk blocks will be similar to bedrock in the fact that you can’t mine them. This is in place so people don’t rake the obelisk with them wherever they go.

    The obelisk would be used as a new system for upgrading your weapons, tools and armour through 5 tiers. You can upgrade the tiers by imbuing 'Ender Pearls' into your item via the obelisk. Each tool, weapon and armour begins at tier 1 from when you first receive the item. To upgrade through the tiers you will need the following amounts of Ender Pearls;

    • Tier 1 - Standard
    • Tier 2 - 5 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 3 - 10 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 4 - 20 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 5 - 50 Ender Pearls
Upgrading you tools, weapons and armour through the five tiers will make your items more effective and last for a longer period of time. To show that the weapon has been upgraded to a higher tier their appearance would also change. Tier 5 would look the most different from tier 1.

Section 2 – Soul Fragments & Soul Items (BACK TO TOP)
Soul items are items which are earned not by mining, but by fighting and killing monsters. Upon killing a monster you’ll have a 1/50 chance of them dropping a soul fragment, essentially part of their soul. You can then turn the soul fragments into soul items (tools, weapons and armour) the same way you would with any other kinds of tools, weapons and armour.

To create the following items you will need the following amounts of soul fragments:

    • Soul Helmet – x5 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Chestplate – x8 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Leggings – x7 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Boots – x4 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Sword – x2 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Pickaxe – x3 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Axe – x3 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Hoe – x2 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Shovel – x1 Soul Fragments
    • Soul Arrow – x1 Soul Fragments (SEE SECTION 4)
Because soul fragments would be so rare to obtain I think it would be fair to make it at least 25% more effective than diamond items in its power and durability. This would make soul items the most effective creatable item.

Right now in Minecraft the only way to make tools, weapons and armour is to mine. Once you have a diamond pickaxe you can easily get more diamond items. Soul items would introduce a new way to obtain tools, weapons and armour and would make combat far more rewarding. With the soul tools as well I would suggest that they allow us to mine extra blocks and ores that diamond tools wouldn’t be able to mine.

Section 3 – Rare Items (BACK TO TOP)
Rare items are tools, weapons and armour that you cannot obtain by creating them. The only way to obtain these items would be to rarely find them in stronghold and dungeon chests or by defeating boss monsters and obtaining them as a rare drop.

These items would be far more effective than diamond items and soul items but would be extremely hard to obtain as you would have to go searching for long periods of time to finally find one of them. Once you find these items though it would be worth the effort as they are extremely powerful.

Section 4 – Ranging Rework (BACK TO TOP)
Although ranging is the second form of combat in Minecraft it is so much more useless than melee. Barely anybody in Minecraft uses a bow and arrows as their first weapon of choice and I don’t think that’s fair as it should be able to combat melee equally or at least stand a chance.

Basically what I’m thinking is that we need a bigger range of ranging equipment. This includes three kinds of bows and seven kinds of arrows. The new bows and arrows are as following:

    • Wooden Bow
    • Redwood Bow
    • Birchwood Bow
    • Flint Arrow
    • Wooden Arrow
    • Stone Arrow
    • Iron Arrow
    • Gold Arrow
    • Diamond Arrow
    • Soul Arrow
Flint arrows would be the weakest kind of arrow (weaker than they are right now). Flint arrows would be surpassed by wood, then stone, then iron, then gold, then diamond and finally by soul. Although the arrows would be slightly better each time there shouldn’t be too much of a gap between them to stop them from becoming too powerful.

To fire flint, wood and stone arrows you would only need a wooden bow. To shoot arrows up to gold arrows you will need a redwood bow. To shoot arrows up to soul arrows you will need a birchwood bow. The reason you will need better bows to fire different arrows is to make ranging a little more interesting and unique.

The final thing would like to suggest for the ranging rework is the ability to attach a torch to your bow so that when you fire arrows it catches them on fire and creates a flaming arrow. I’m not sure whether this would do extra damage to the monster or not but if it did I’d say it shouldn’t be any more than an extra +5% of damage.

I also think you should be able to upgrade your arrows a little to add extra abilities:

    • Fire Arrow - Has a 1/5 chance of catching an enemy on fire and dealing periodic damage. - Use a 'Flint & Steel' on any kind of arrow to upgrade it to a 'Fire Arrow'.
    • Ice Arrow - Slows down your enemies movement and makes their attacks a 33% less effective. - Use a 'Snowball' on any kind of arrow to upgrade it to an 'Ice Arrow'.
    • Sticky Arrow - Completely stops the enemy from moving and attacking for 5 - 10 seconds. Has a 1/20 chance of poisoning the enemy. Place a 'Slimeball' on any kind of arrow to update it to a 'Sticky Arrow'.
Being able to upgrade your arrows would certainly make using the ranged skill much more exciting and rewarding.

Section 5 – Damage Spots (BACK TO TOP)
Right now in Minecraft when you hit a monster it does the same amount of damage wherever you hit them. I think that when you’re fighting a monster there should be zones on them that will allow you to do extra damage.

    • Top of the head: +20% Damage
    • Back of the head: +10% Damage
    • Sides/front of the head: +7% Damage
    • Back of the body: +5% Damage
I’m not sure if these would be good damage spots or if the +X% is a reasonable amount but if Mojang was to use this idea I am sure they could figure it out for themselves. :wink.gif:

Damage spots would make combat a lot more realistic and challenging but also far more enjoyable than it is right now. It would also rid of the current system where everybody just ‘spam clicks’ the monster or their opponent which in my opinion is extremely basic and boring.

I’ve constructed these ideas to try and make tools, weapons, armour and combat a little more challenging, rewarding and enjoyable so that when people are playing Mincraft they don’t just ‘finish the game’ after getting diamond items.

Anyway, I’d love to hear all of your feedback so I can do my best to improve and perfect these suggestions. Thanks for reading and I hoped you enjoyed hearing about all of my ideas! :biggrin.gif:

posted a message on Obelisk's - Upgrade your weapons, tools and armour!
NOTE: I AM SUGGESTING THIS AS A FUTURE UPDATE FOR MINECRAFT BUT IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO MAKE IT INTO A MOD FEEL FREE TO DO SO. :tongue.gif:

    -----------------------------------

An obelisk would be a small structure which spawns randomly in each world. The structure would be one block wide/deep and two blocks high. The blocks it's made out of would be a new block which I imagine as white and giving off a blue glow. An obelisk would be rare to find but still common enough that you won't need to go searching for hours.

    The obelisk would be used as a new system for upgrading your weapons, tools and armour through 5 tiers. You can upgrade the tiers by imbuing 'Ender Pearls' into your weapon/tool/armour via the obelisk. Each weapon/tool/armour begins at tier 1 from when you first receive the item. To upgrade through the tiers you will need the following amounts of Ender Pearls;

    • Tier 1 - Standard
    • Tier 2 - 5 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 3 - 10 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 4 - 20 Ender Pearls
    • Tier 5 - 50 Ender Pearls

Upgrading you weapon/tool/armour through the five tiers will make your weapon/tool/armour more effective and it will last for a longer period of time. To show that the weapon has been upgraded to a higher tier I would suggest that the weapon/tool/armour also has a slight variation in the way it looks so it is clear what tier the weapon/tool/armour is. When the weapon/tool/armour reaches tier 5 you would notice the biggest change in your weapon/tool/armour.

    Feedback would be appreciated. :wink.gif:
