That's wrong. 32 bit systems have a limit, 64 bits does not.
I suspect that there's a memory leak in your mod. You might have an infinite loop or something similar.
Yeah, I believe so too. I just don't know where it is, however, as I said earlier, I believe it to be in the dimensions.
You seem to of used all the allocated ram, allocate some more
I have. I heard somewhere that java can only use 1/3 of your computer's RAM, and I have 8gb, so 2gb is the safest option. Anyway, my normal minecraft runs with no lag with just 1gb of RAM so evidently there's something wrong.
Before this, my mod loaded with one gigabyte of RAM and half the current permgen size, so I'm pretty sure that it's the dimensions.
The mod that includes the dimensions is SpaceAgePlanets, and the other mods whose source I have in my dev environment (ie the ones that I'm working on) are SpaceAge and WarpDrive.
If required, I can give source code for any one of my dimensions.
That still doesn't help. I need an idea of what the race looks like, so can get a good feel for the look of the armor. If I'm going to make a skin file, then I want it to match the race, or else it's a waste of time.
If it's really that hard, I'll make a steve skin with silver coloured skin.
I would do this, but you haven't given enough information on what you want the armor to kook like. It would also help if you gave us a picture of the race.
Think of it as a Steve skin and model with silver robotic 'skin'.
Okay, I don't know why, but for some reason I suddenly feel up to the challenge. I'm unpredictable. Anyway, I'm going to do a version for 1.8 and 1.7. How does that sound? If you have a preference, please let me know soon.
Sorry, SkylordJoel, this request seems a bit too difficult for my skill level. You see, I use a skin maker which does the shading for me, but only gives a few options so I can't do anything all that great. If I can make it up to you by doing a custom profile pic or easy-to-make player skin, please PM me and I'll see what my limited artistic skills can do. I hope you don't have any hard feelings towards me for bailing out.
Oh, it's fine. No hard feelings. I just assumed that someone would think that this is interesting considering the amount of skins on the net.

I tried to restructure the rig for a higher eye, and this is what happened.
In edit mode:
And this is in object mode: rendering has the same result:
So how would I fix this?

Is this feature going to be added soon?

Okay! All of the dimensions are in this folder/package (or a subfolder/package).
https://github.com/AwesCorp/SpaceAge/tree/master/forge/mcp/src/minecraft/spaceage/planets
The planets are Vulcan, Hades, 0011, Eden and Ontarine.
Thanks for your help... If you do help, that is.
I really hope you do, by the way.

After initialising my new dimensions/planets, any world, new or otherwise, appears to crash with this log:

Nice looking. I'll update the main post for this.

While you have free design over the skin, I imagine it looking like an organic version of this:
http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/exoskeleton-1612108/
It is a Steve model skin that will be used for armour in a mod.

The mod is 1.7.

The cape will only be visible if the mod user is using CosmosCore.

Well the skin will be used as armour, yes, but I'm fine with it in skin format.
