    hey guys, I need help with a weird shadow problem in the Rudoplays shaderpack, no other packs do this and Ive tried a lot to fix it, anyways.

    running latest forge release (have tried earlier versions too)
    running 2.0.1 beta 18 shadermodcore (have tried earlier as well)
    GPU: geforce GTX 780
    drivers: WHQL 320.49

    Note: also does this in 1.6.2 with optifine installed
    (no optifine is installed in video)

    watch the sides of the buildings the lighting angle and shadows seem to change every few steps :(

    Any help would be amazing as I love this shaderpack and have tried everything to fix it, its quite annoying.
    Thank you to anyone who gives their time helping me out :)

    Also I heard Seus recommends a certain driver version for his packs and I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction to where I could find them.

    When I try to run the game with your 512x textures and Forge (without MC Patcher) it works almost fine. Only the chests are messed up.

    When I add the Mod Damage Indicators I get an error when starting up Minecraft

    When I use the MC standart textures its runs fine with Forge and Damage Indicators.

    Any Idea how to fix this?

    I dont see how this would be a texture pack issue, possibly a memory issue, along with the chest problem, both are probably a memory/graphics card issues. try running the 256x version and see if the chests work. or you could just switch out the 256 chest textures for the 512's and it will probably work.

    Or just run the 256 all together there isn't that much pixel difference and it still looks great :)

    And again, the Damage Indicators mod may be piling more memory usage on top of the 512 pack and that may be why its crashing with rise of tredonia and not default textures.

    The moon texture is not working!!!

    This will be fixed in the next update, I should have it out around may 1st, if you would like to fix it yourself, find the moon_phases.png in the texture pack zip in the environment folder, open it in an editing program and resize it down about 50%, or to whatever still looks good and not to pixelly. Thanks :)

    @peyton loving those ores, especially the color of the coal, very unique

    @xytherea Love it!

    Okay, but I still don't know how the default the sun.png and moon interacts with it.

    Sun and moon pretty much just sit in front of the skybox, no need to worry about them when designing the skyboxes.

    Also I can give you my code. I worked on it a bit and found this was pretty good.
    for day time:
    startFadeIn=4:00
    blend=multiply
    endFadeOut=19:30
    endFadeIn=6:30
    source=/environment/sky0/sky1.png
    rotate=false

    for night:

    source=/environment/sky0/sky2.png
    startFadeIn=18:00
    endFadeIn=19:30
    endFadeOut=5:00
    blend=add
    color=< 0.5
    rotate=false

    Let me know how these work for you :)

    Kind of on topic, if you'd like to see my skyboxes I made video showing them :)
    although they don't show the transition times, Sorry protocol.

    feedback is appreciated :)

    I have a couple of questions,
    (I'm playing on minecraft 1.5.1)
    When I press 'internal' when selecting the shaders nothing happens (Do I need to be using forge and if so which one?),
    and how do I get the water to look all fancy, because at the moment it looks like normal, not wavy and clear?
    There might be some other posts that tell me what to do, but I don't know where and I don't want to click through many pages of posts.
    Thanks if you answer this.

    (internal) doesn't really do anything, you have to download a shaderpack and put it into the shader/shaderpack folder in your minecraft directory. then your water will be "all fancy".

    there are multiple links on the main post for where to get shaderpacks.
