posted a message on Mo' Creatures - v12.0.0 for Minecraft 1.12.1!! Now Opensource!!

This mod looks extremely interesting. However, I can't download all the necessary files. I tried using the link to the CustomMobSpawner 3.11.3, and I got a blank page after the adf.ly page. I even ran a search here for the spawner, and I couldn't find anything. All the other file links worked find, but CMS didn't.

posted a message on Looking for an Island Seed

Yeach, I didn't realize until a few days after posting it that it was WAAAAAY too specific... Basically, all I really wanted was a map with a mainland, a second island of a decent size, a desert, and a covered forest. That's what it boils down to, really. The terrain wasn't even really an issue, either, it's just easier to build on flat land without spending hours terraforming. Sorry about that. 😕

I took a look at that seed you provided. That is actually extremely close to what I have been looking for. It's got a decent mainland, varied biomes, good sources of trees. The mesa and Woodland mansion actually look surprisingly good together. Almost like the Illagers said *bleep* you, mesa, we're building here. It's got a decent sized island, and the extreme hills/jungle will probably make the person I tend to play the game with very happy. They like mountains and jungles. And, with a little terraforming, it can be turned into an island if done properly, and with surprisingly little work! Although... I've never seen a mushroom biome spawn like that... That's weird. I'm used to them being lonely islands. Oh, well. Makes getting mooshrooms back home a LOT easier.

This is actually a great seed for what I'm looking for. Thanks a bunch, and sorry for the overly specific request.

posted a message on Looking for an Island Seed

I'm looking for a particular island seed to replace an old world from way back when. It needs to be 25-50% water with a decent sized mainland and a good sized, moderately flat island separate from the rest. It would need a good mix of biomes, including at least a small Mesa, covered forest, jungle, and a desert, with at least one village, even a small one. I would definitely prefer it have all the tree types, but I can do without acacia trees. I would like a desert and jungle temple, but those are optional. I would prefer 0 woodland mansions, but I would he okay with one, of its not in an absolutely retarded place, like on a tiny peninsula that it can't logically fit on. I've been searching for days, since I updated the game, over dozens of worlds, and have yet to find anything that matches what I need. If anybody would help me with a seed, I'd be appreciative.

posted a message on MCX360 Seed Requests
I'm looking for a seed with a good mix of biomes. No huge deserts (I'm getting tired of oversized deserts). A jungle biome larger than the rest is appreciated, but not a must. I'm okay with a small one, as long as there's one somewhere.

Also, a must. I need a large (anywhere between 100X100 and 150X150 I can work with), relatively flat surface for something I'm planning on building. It can't be in a desert biome, because I'm planting trees, or an ocean/swamp. It can be anywhere else. Just something that doesn't require a lot of teraforming. If anybody can find a map like this, I'd be greatly appreciative.

posted a message on Furnace: Number, fuel type, efficient?
Because I tend to use a LOT of glass, or stone, I have a huge number of furnaces. I normally use up to 9 at a time, depending on what I'm doing. On my main world, which was started before enchanting, I have two banks of 14 furnaces, that I only use char/coal in. If I don't have a number of items divisible by 8 in my stack, I use wooden planks to cook them, because I hate being wasteful when cooking things.

posted a message on what do you think about the spawn rate of the ghast?
I guess I get lucky. Ghasts never kill me, even while I'm very stationary. While I was building a shelter around my Nether Portal, I was getting shot left and right by two ghasts. Yeah, I took a few shots, but they did not kill me. If I'm out in the open, buildings roads, that may be a different story, but ghasts have yet to kill me. The landscape gets wiped out, though. Right now, it's the magma cubes that kill me the most. I can never managed to get their hitboxes before they knock me back.

posted a message on Automatic Animal Killers?
I automate very little. Except a single mob grinder, which I mainly use for bones and arrows, and a fully automatic cobblestone generator. Even though the mob grinder does the killing, it's not fully automated, and it doesn't give XP. I still have to go to the grinder every five minutes to collect the loot, and I have an arena where I fight mobs with sword and bow. I feel automation kind of ruins the game. Well, too much automation does. A little bit doesn't hurt, but too much of anything is a bad thing. I still manually breed and kill my animals, and I still manually plant and harvest my crops. Nothing automated there.

    Quote from Sku11King77

Method 2: Building a house near a village will cause villagers to move in and fill up spaces by breeding with eachother. This However requires at least 2 initial villagers, and the house must conform to strict guidlines which the villagers can recognize (e.g. can't be made of netherrack, must have a door )

Actually, pretty much anything passes as a house for a village. As long as there's a door and at least one block on the "inside" of that door, it's counted as a house. And the material it's made of has no bearing on whether or not it's considered a house. Check out the link below for more information about Villager housing.

I'd love to see it in the future. All my dogs would have PURPLE collars! XD

Although, lately, I've been thinking about getting the PC version, because there are quite a few things we probably will never get. I'd like to use some of those items.

posted a message on Whats the record on TNT cannon distance on 360?
With a 14 TNT primer, I can normally get upwards of 100 blocks (give or take, it's hard to tell 100%). But it can't hit the ground at that distance, so it's only useful for hitting things above it. My average with an 8 block primer is about 50 blocks, and even then it doesn't hit the ground sometimes.

Severely overpowered. What your suggesting is that there be a 40X40X40 block area completely inaccessible to other players. Neither Mojang nor 4J would even contemplate adding this unless there are some severe cutbacks to the design. Not to mention, what about locations where people share a house, or their houses are close together? That would prevent people from getting to their own houses. Also, this is more sci-fi, and doesn't fit in with Minecraft's style.

posted a message on Obsidian Doors
Even if the door is twice as hard, that's only 18 seconds with a non-enchanted pick. With efficiency IV, that's 5 seconds. It would be just as useless as iron doors against griefers. Your best bet is to hide your loot in unassuming locations. Make a secret underground cache to hide a chest. Build secret doors. Put a huge series of puzzles and traps that only YOU know the solution to!

Or, as so many people have said, play with more trustworthy people who won't steal your stuff. If they're not trustworthy: Trust Players = Off.

posted a message on Attachment Idea in Enchanting
No. Not if it's level 50. You do realize how much experience it would require to get that much, right? Without Bottles of Enchanting or an XP farm, it would take a long time. It took me quite a while without farming blazes just to get from 20 to 30. Now imagine 30 to 50. And not everybody can build XP farms, and Bottles of Enchanting aren't in the 360 survival version yet. Only creative.

If there's a rare chance for it to show up at 30 - 35, I support. But nothing higher than that.

a snow ball does actually do damage, it's just a small amount that it would take a very long time to kill normal mobs (except for a skellie/zombie, those would burn up on dawn)

Snowballs do NO damage to anything except Blazes and the Enderdragon. I've tested it out on chickens, just to see if it could. I threw enough snowballs at that chicken to fill ten Fort Knoxes (not literally, but I threw a lot of snowballs). It didn't even take a lick of damage. It still took the same exact amount of punches to kill it as it would a chicken I hadn't pummeled with snowballs.

posted a message on What would you do the instance you saw Herobrine?
Sees Herobrine. "It's H-H-Herobrine! No! It's finally happened! He's tracked me down!" Clutches chest. Falls over, dead from pure terror.

Wakes up in bed, with Herobrine standing in the doorway to my bedroom, the only source of light is his eyes.

"Ohai!. Had another nightmare about ya!"

    Lol.
