WHO told you to upgrade to Windows 10!, because it's the issue (intel 3rd generation Core series or higher required) You have a Pentium CPU with it's own GPU (no dedicated graphics, that is another fix) so you should find a way to downgrade (via CD or MediaCreationTools ) so you can run MC well

    (AMD APU not affected)

Hey! I forgot to mention something.

    If precise numbers are important (I am maybe reffering to this quote "Currently it is slightly above half of the durability of wood, so instead I would suggest having it about halfway between wood and stone tools" you had made in the OP) I am going to introduce some number to this thread if you like {All below infos are from the MC Wiki}

    OK, first off basic durability:

    - Gold tools has 33 uses, Wood tools has 60 (~1.81x more than gold), Stone tools has 132 uses (exactly 4x more than gold)

    - Gold armor has 76 D.P (Durability Points),113 D.P 106 D.P and 92 D.P to gold helmet,chest,legs,boots respectively

    Second: my idea:

-If we divide Both wood and stone tools' durability by 2, we get 96 uses. Not too bad considering it's from gold that breaks quickly

-About armor: It will be 94 (~93.6=78*1.2) for the helmet, 84(~83.64=92/1.1)for boots, 133(~135.6=113*1.2) for the chest and 106 (no changes here) for the legs.

That's it, I hope you liked my math and my idea :P (I will never use sugession again 'cus i don't know how to write it :P )

PS : " * " is the multiplication sign and " / " means the dividing sign in computer language (cus "X" looks quit stupid and there is now dividing symbol in my keyboard anyway)

That's actually a really good point! I've only been using gold to buff outgoing magic, not to nerf incoming magic. Hmm... I suppose that having it nerf enemy enchantments like sharpness on someone else's sword would be too complicated and weird. Ok, so I can see adding this in two ways:

    Ok let's see

1: As a base function of gold armor, where it buffs positive potions by 20% and nerfs negative potions by 20% (5% per piece of armor). I like this one because it provides a substantial reason to have, say, a single piece of gold armor on, like just boots.

What do you mean by "nerf" (if you means something like debuff or unbuff (or whatever grammar says :P )) I am positive with you

2: As a gold-unique enchantment, just so that it's less unbalancing to PvP, and when it is unbalancing it's because of the high cost (including rarity) to get it.

I may be also positive to you (along with above's comment) however it should unallow enchanting Gold plating Since we are making gold better not a GOD MODE set :P

Thanks! I thought it would be a nice addition to the current "aqua affinity" enchantment! Sorry this response is so super late, I was on break from school and I was visiting family. But no worries this thread shan't die! :D Not while we're still producing discussion, at least :)

You're welcome (BTW even me i don't check MCF a lot, it looks like a "ghost town" to me)

Hey! So the polls are now on their way to being closed. They will not be open in 2016. And speaking of polls, I was wondering, is the first one really necessary? I was about to delete it, but a lot of people voted on it. I personally no longer think it's necessary, I much prefer my other polls. But since they're being closed anyway... thoughts?

BOO! (I am back but not for a long time anyway)
On topic:Keep the "what part do you like about this thread" poll, even if it's meaningless anyway, it shows that the thread is still in action.
I hope I help and don't forget to reply :)

posted a message on Minecraft Crash - Pixel Format Not Accelerated..HELP!!!

Who did upgrade you PC to Windows 10? if it's you then the only way is to downgrade (or if you just update it to Windows 10 then there is an option to downgrade easily via the settings) if it's isn't you then tell him to downgrade your PC to Windows 10.

The reason why you should downgrade to 8.1 or 7 or whatever is because if the specs. Windows 10 requires 3rd gen Core CPU , while you have one older than the first gen :P
