So as many of you know, once 1.8 is released, your old worlds will remain, BUT you need to discover new areas in order to access the new features of 1.8. One person on the forums suggested using mc edit to move my house (which i spent a lot of time on) to a new 1.8 world. Will this be easy? And will items in chests be moved as well? And someone give me instructions? Plus I am a noob when it comes to computer terminology lol, so if i can get some help, that would be awesome =)
No risk at all, just incase some stupid class file is fighting with some other class files (minecraft development stuff, don't know anything about it).
I always back up everything I do with minecraft, even the game itself! It's just to be sure.
I have no idea what that means lol, how do you back up?
First, when you start a new world you build something in it, BACK UP THE SAVES, I do it every week just to keep them safe incase of a massive failure, and no, it will not harm your saves, but do back them up.

How is this possible? And is there a huge risk?
