Job: Competitor
A person who participates in land/water races, cacti-jumps, and burn wars for a living.
Competitions: Racing- Races go around a set track. First through wins. Cacti-jumps- Competitors are put into a cacti pit. Whoever survives longest wins. Burn wars- Competitors are placed inside a 12x12x5 caged arena, with a lighter each. They try to light each other on fire. Midway though the game, a bucket water is dropped in the center. Who every survives longest wins.
Nice. I like it.
For the mountains, maybe add a -1 health every 10 seconds because of extreme cold, and slowing down your movements periodically (from frostbite) so you go from normal, then 1/2 water speed, the water speed, etc.
IAC stands for In-the-area-chat. The name says it all- only people in your (or their) area hears what is said. That way, someone at the bottom of the other side of the map can't here what you say.
Ex:
X=you
O=them
---=space between
WW= Water
(Out of range)
X-------------------------------------O
You say: I am here.
He hears:
(Maximum range)
X-------------O
You say: I am here.
He hears: I am here.
It's a great way to keep stuff secret, and adds to games like RPs, as you can tell plans in private, or give secrets.
Now, to give messages for the whole map, op or admins have a /speak option, which can be heard everywhere.
Ex:
X----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------O
You say: /speak No griefing. Anyone caught griefing will be perma banned.
He hears: No griefing. Anyone caught griefing will be perma banned.
Good to get an op-message out.
Also, a /yell option that anyone can use. It doubles the max. hearing range (to 28), and can be used for, say, if you accidentally flood a tunnel, and that tunnel is attached to cave, and that cave has people in it.
Ex:
WWWX----------------------------O
You say: /yell FLOOD!
He hears: Flood!
(Distance causes the all-caps to become lower case, or something like that.)
That guy can then block off that section of tunnel, or, if that isn't possible, repeat the message, and get the heck outta there.
.. and another of fighting, and one for each separate race, and one for MCIA (which should really be something else, it's redundant), and one for race meetings, andonefor
I'm sorry, was I ranting?
Anyways, I was going to say something, but I forgot. So, nevermind.

I'm good at creating towns and things like that, as well as scenery.
