If I donate and get the OptiFine cape, is there an option to turn it on and off?
EDIT: So, I just donated, and now not only do I not have a cape, but I have no skin either :/
I checked with 1.5 and 1.4.7 and I have the regular Steve skin.
EDIT:EDIT: nvm, it works. Not sure if this is why but I turned 'show capes' off and restarted, then turned them on again.

Feb 18, 2013When using this with ExtrabiomesXL pokemon won't spawn in the extra biomes. Any chance of adding support for that?Posted in: Minecraft Mods
I love the extra biomes because default ones get boring, and it would be awesome to have different pokemon spread out more across various biomes.
Mar 15, 2012AcidMines is now running in 1.2.3Posted in: Minecraft Survival Servers (archive)
1.2 has brought on a new map and a new layout for the server.
Everyone has the same power, with minimal commands to make it almost vanilla-like.
You do however still have chest protection to keep your stuff safe.
Also, guests can now build freely, but they cannot break blocks placed by others. So if you are new, you will have to go mining somewhere away from others and set up a home until you become a Member.

Dec 10, 2011I don't see the point. Make different borders on the same world that are far apart.Posted in: Minecraft Tools
Dec 8, 2011The only reason bukkit has a larger number of members is popularity. If bukkit was made after Canary and all hMod users went to Canary at the start, it would be more popular. We'd have more devs making awesome stuff.Posted in: Minecraft Tools
Most people don't know about Canary.
The only features bukkit has over Canary, in my opinion, is multiworld and spout. I don't think multiworld is needed and I don't like the idea of anything client-side (spout).
I think if CanaryMod could find a way to get better known, the ease of use would pull people in, because it's so much simpler.

Acid Mines is a 24/7 survival server. We use CanaryMod for awesome plugins that help get the best experience out of Minecraft.
I've been running this server since the old hMod days, it started as just a few online friends from other games. Over time, many people have come and gone, but there seems to be more 'go' than 'come' these days. The regulars are getting bored with Minecraft, so we need new people to join us in the Acid Mines.
We've recently started a new map, so we need new people to help shape the world into something awesome.
Like myself, most of the regulars are Australian, though there are people from all over, and we accept anyone.
We are a friendly group of people (well, most of us >_>) and will show you the same respect that you show us.
There is no whitelist to join the server, but you will have building limitations and cannot destroy blocks placed by others. To become a full member, post on the forums and chat with me in game.
One of the most enjoyable things to do in the Acid Mines is earn achievements. One of our members cut 100,000 logs just for an achievement, and there are many more to keep you busy. You can view all our players stats and achievements here
You can find all information on the Acid Mines website. (Full list of ranks, users, commands, plugins, rules, and anything else you need to know)
The server is run in online mode.

Oct 28, 2011Yay for CanaryMod!Posted in: Minecraft Tools
I used to run a hMod server, and I wasn't really involved in the community so I had no idea hMod had stopped or that bukkit even existed. Then I found Canary, and I'm glad I did. The transition from hMod to Canary was nothing more than a name change, it was easy, and that's how I got hooked in.
I did try to switch to bukkit after the first Canary build but I couldn't, it just didn't seem worth all the trouble.
CanaryMod is easy and efficient, with a friendly community, and that's why everyone should be using it.
I learned Java just to write Canary plugins, now it's one of my favourite things to do. :biggrin.gif:
In my eyes, Minecraft wouldn't be Minecraft without CanaryMod.
