I just came across this, like a mixture of M83 and Modest Mouse. Sounds pretty awesome.

"It's much easier to read without...That's 8 users who find your suggestion difficult to understand. I count 11 different users who have posted on this thread(Including you and me), 8/11 is 72.73%, so nearly 3/4 of posters found your idea difficult to understand."
Your "changes" to my "opening post" (OP) do nothing to change the sense of the "opening post" (OP), which means their informational content should be identical... hmm, good. However, you did this by only changing about 3 small phrases -__- ... if you can make it "so much easier to understand" by just changing 3 phrases then I don't think the problem is with my writing but instead with the inhibited minds of the people reading my thread. That is to say, the problem is not with me, it is with them :2 Actually no Bartin, the problem isn't with them. It is entirely you. What if Mojang couldn't tell what you were talking about, with your "high intellectual caliber".
"But then couldn't two people farm slots by donating them to each other and receiving even more back? That's certainly what I'd do."
You could only sacrifice a maximum of 27 slots, assuming you never use your enderchest -__- this would be a purely altruistic action to take... also, it should be obvious that you can't donate the slots you have in the EnderStorage Network, as those inventory slots are separate, accessed through a device similar to the modern wifi adapter... as I already explained in the thread -__-
Regardless -__- ... what I'm saying is your little "donation abuse" would not work in my system :2
"And what would happen if I, if I were player 2 for example, want to use more than 2 slots? Woudl I be unable to do so?"
His example incorrectly assumes that unused slots are automatically added into the EnderStorage network ... pay it no heed -__-
"I've told you, repeatedly, that I don't know what you're talking about."
Unfortunately, even I with my high intellectual caliber, can do nothing more to help you ... I am sorry... -__- Obviously not. If you have such a "high intellectual caliber", then you should be able to help them right?
"Did you make this account Bartin?"
No and he misunderstands the purpose of my suggestion, meaning he isn't a member of my epic -__- clan, "Trade Dynamics Bartin" (TDB) either Mhm. Sure.
"I'm thinking the same thing. This is the only person on the form that seems to get it."
No offence -__- but please take your off topic conspiracies to another thread Eh.
"Even with this extra "clarification," I still do not understand exactly what the idea is here."
That's because they did not "clarify" my idea, only misunderstood... sheesh
"And then you could donate your increased surplus of slots and get even more unused slots back?"
Oh my gosh -__- as I explain in the "opening post" (OP) the only slots that can be sacrificed are those on your local physical enderchest... because the slots you gain in the EnderStorage Network are not local physical storage spaces, they can not be sacrificed -__- ...
All the answers you seek have already been laid out for you... you can either follow -__- the breadcrumbs of my words with the charge I imbue in them aka the truth, or live in disillusion, but it looks like you already made up your mind long ago -__- Another piece of your "elegant poetry", eh Bartin?
"Well Bartin, I can't say anything that others haven't said, but I can say that you need to stop. Please try to make a good suggestion and be more clear, I know you're not going to do it, but just consider."
No offence -__- but please take your off topic comments to another thread This isn't off topic. It deals with suggestions and includes you and your suggestions.

Okay Bartin, to put it simply:
Interesting idea, elaborate. It's your suggestion. Own it. Mojang does everything themselves, make your own idea.
Stop using fluff words. Put the dictionary away, it does not make your posts and suggestions any better and as you can see, people are confused.
Don't pull out a dictionary and use synonyms for your intended word. Grammar is good, but talking normally actually kinda helps. Try it.
One thing i'm surprised about is the fact that you have not used a synonym for epic yet. Truly impressed.
Elaborate on this idea with regular down to earth words. This is Minecraft, a kids game. It's not the first step to ruling the world or something.
If you elaborate and simplify without using the signature Bartin style, I might support.

"I wouldn't go for the dying in cold water" Are you perhaps unfamiliar with the "Titanic" disaster of 1912: ... 2,200 people enter the water... only 700 make it out. Water around icebergs is something to be truly feared -__- and "dying in cold water" is not a far-fetched concept True. However. This is a kids game dude. I understand you can die in cold water. This is a game, people would hate it more than like it. I need to note, are you saying the Titanic wasn't actually the Titanic?
"iceberg itself as a biome i'm not a big fan of" Hmm ... perhaps it could have a "semi-rare" chance to generate in the "deep ocean" biome ... or the "frozen ocean" biome could be repurposed to include it -__- (although this would require other adjustments to be made to the "frozen ocean" biome :2) Under this new "idea" the iceberg becomes another of Mojang's "pre-generated" structures .... -__- it could perhaps work Sure.
"If mobs were on it as well, new mobs, it'd be cool" Penguins perhaps? Or if we want to remain in the realm of "Minecraftian Fantasy" then perhaps an aggressive mob that is Mojang's take on the Himalayan myth of the "Yeti" -__- PENGUINS. YES BARTIN. A GOOD IDEA. Yeti works too.
"anytime someone gives you one on your other post you either try insulting them or ignoring them." I appreciate feedback when it is correctly given by someone who attempts to be -__- knowledgeable Evidently again, you are not knowledgeable if you don't take advice and instead insult people with your quasi-poetry.
"how about sharks" We have the "Guardian" mob already which fills a similar purpose -__- Guardians and sharks are not the same. Quite different.
Overall, you're still using quotations wrong, still using "-_-" for whatever you're using it for.
Wait what? No epicness? Good job Bartin!

Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "idea"
Through my travels across Minecraft it has become apparent that our oceans are bare, that is to say -__- there is no danger, nothing to fear ... to brave the world's oceans once called for the strongest and most fearless of men ... but in minecraft it calls for a "crafting table" and 5 logs ... truly, something must be done. That is why im here. -__- I know how to fix this - trust me.
We must introduce a great danger to Minecraft's oceans ... that is the only way for this to be solved: a great danger must inhabit the world of Minecraft's oceans ... and this is where the "idea" gets epic ... are you ready? Prepare yourself: Icebergs.
This new "biome" will of course generate in the ocean and pose a great danger to travelling sea vessels as crashing into one will sink your boat (and yourself X[) ) into the freezing waters below. The water is so cold , infact, that it deals damage to people submerged in it -__- the rate at which damage occurs could possibly be at the rate of starvation (or slower) I am not sure yet, the specifics of which can be left to Mojang's specifics :2
Also -__- following Mojang's recent trend of pre-generated structures it would be epic if there was possibly a "sunken ship" generated on the seafloor around the iceberg ... this could also be a potential spawning zone for the "Guardian" mob ... adding to the dangers around the iceberg.
This is truly an epic biome and will put the "fear of god" back into the hearts of -__- adventurers
Another "epic" "idea" from "Bartin".
I like the idea, although not exactly in your sense.
I wouldn't go for the dying in cold water, and the iceberg itself as a biome i'm not a big fan of. If mobs were on it as well, new mobs, it'd be cool
Bartin, this is your suggestion. You. Cannot. Let. Mojang. Make. The. Rest. We've been over this. It's not an epic idea. It's not an epic idea. It's not an epic idea.
Anyways, better idea so far, but you gotta learn the rest of what we've said over your 3--5 suggestions.

"It is just going to get enchanted and they will use it the whole time/still op and brings back spam clicking" Perhaps I didn't make it clear the first time ... but the "no recharge" only procs on weapon switch ... spam-clicking the weapon results in the usual "recharge" we see on all tools and weapons that currently exist in 1.9 ... and as I said before, the damage of the dagger would be akin to that of a hoe (although the specifics of this can be left up to Mojang's specifics :2) The only brickwall in "balancing" this I have run into is if the metagame evolves to where it is now most efficient to rapidly switch between a dagger and a sword and using the dagger's no recharge on switch to do rapid, full damage attacks each time... ill have to reflect on this before i commit to anything further -__-
"That is your opinion. Personally, if you use them just right and don't hurt yourself, it can be very effective. Why the -_-?" Unfortunately these "just right" scenarios are so niche and far between that virtually nobody uses them in standard offensive gameplay to the point where they aren't even given on most "Player-versis-Player"(PvP) server's "kits"
"No recharge reverts this back to before 1.9." Hardly -__- ... see the above paragraphs for where you might be "misguided" in understanding this "no recharge" feature.
"On this weapon, it's just too convenient." You can already do this at range with a bow ... which is arguably more convenient -__-
"I'm only convinced they were removed because they didn't favor you." The moderators of this forum delete the posts ... I don't :2 although, had I been given the ability I still would've deleted your posts seeing as they added nothing but blur to the conversational network.
"Why would a dagger lop off someone's maximum health but not a big beefy sword? " Ugh... -__- ... the dagger is not reducing the target's maximum health, the damage health potion effect on the dagger is.... a sword can not have potion effects applied to it so your "comparison" (if it could be called as such) falls on deaf ears ...
You should probably stop using your "elegant poetry" and make it clear in the op. These confusions and problems are attributed to you. Another thing, insulting people STILL does not make you or your suggestions any better. Take constructive criticism like an adult please.

"What is this "jank"?" Splash potions, when the user is trying to use them in an "offensive" fashion, are very awkward ... many times hitting the user as well as the intended "target" :2 .... also, the range at which they have to be used makes them nearly useless (outside of dispenser-based traps) when compared with the new "tipped arrows" -__- altogether they are just a very awkward item that should have made use of the mechanics from the "lingering potion" from the start ... That is your opinion. Personally, if you use them just right and don't hurt yourself, it can be very effective. Why the -_-?
"Which people gave you in this very thread, though strangely those posts are deleted now. Hmmm..." Posts are deleted if they are "off-topic" or "flaming" another user ... I suggest you look up the definition of the word "advice" before you make a debacle of yourself in this thread again X[) Well insulting people gets you nowhere but unliked with your suggestion and for the future of your suggestions.
"I don't see a single unique thing about this idea. The no-recharge thing isn't anything special." Having no "recharge" on weapon switch would change the entire dynamic of the current 1.9 "Player-versus-Player" (PvP) metagame -__- ... a weapon that has no recharge on weapon switch fills a very interesting role in the combat arsenal ...Yes, but before the update, there was no recharge. 1.9 is very new, the fact that you have no recharge is still not unique. Wait a bit. Also that was the point of 1.9, right? To change combat? No recharge reverts this back to before 1.9. Can you stop the -_-?
"This "damage health" potion effect you're talking about is confusing as all hell. Is it a new potion? Is it something that's automatically on this dagger? If so, then this weapon has a pre-enchantment slapped in, which makes it terribly unbalanced." I thought this was detailed clearly in the "Original Post" (OP) ... clearly I was mistaken -__- .... but to answer your question: it is not a new potion, it is simply a "balancing" feature to make damage health potions work with the dagger :2 It is not a "pre-enchantment" as you call it. Think of it as "reverse absorption" where instead of having a bonus (+2) hearts for a maximum of 12 hearts of healing, the afflicted player now has a penalty (-2) hearts for a maximum of 8 hearts of healing for the duration of the potion's effect -__- Saying "reverse absorption doesn't make it any clearer. I understand, but many will not.

"but its been suggested millions of times before" perhaps the idea of "daggers" has been suggested "millions of times before" ... this I have no doubt, but to not make mention of its unique 1.9 passive effect of not having a "recharge" on weapon swap which is unique to my idea and what sets it apart (and makes more epic) than all the others .... -__- With "daggers", are you suggesting this isn't a dagger? Yet again, epic is your opinion. I don't find this epic. You know what I find epic? Redstone arrows. It could change the game quite a bit. As for the idea itself. Yes, it is unique, but it is still a dagger. Can you not do the -_-?
"I don't see a point for a new weapon really. Because the ones that are already in the game are enough plus the enchantments..."
No enchantment does what my idea suggests -__- please "read" through it again ... also, it satisfies a niche role in the "PvPers" arsenal in the sense that it can proc potion debuffs at close range (something we don't have the ability to do currently) ... there is too much "jank" with the item we know as "splash potions" ... I have never seen them be used effectively in an offensive way outside of a few clever traps -__- truly my idea is unique in this regard What is this "jank"? -_-?
regardless -__- I appreciate the feedback No problem. -_-again.

Hello ... Bartin here -__- with another epic Minecraft "idea" Is this not an actual idea? Again, why is it epic?
The trees bicker for the attention of the wind ... 1.9 "THE Combat Update" ... is here -__- and with it comes many epic changes to the "Player-versus-Player" (PvP) dynamic itself. We've all heard or perhaps seen movies of the assassin lurking in the shadows ... a poisoned dagger clutched in one hand, waiting for his target ... a truly epic scenario familiar to us all
and so with that humble beginning I introduce my idea ... a truly epic idea sure to change the "Player-versus-Player" (PvP) metagame in all regards: Daggers. -__- Again, why the -_-? Why is it epic? How will it change pvp?
Crafted from a stick and an ingot of an appropriate type (See my Bartinium idea for non-degradable tools ... it's epic - trust me) the dagger is like a sword but shorter X[) ... but do not be mistaken -__- the greatest strength is usually found where others expect weakness ... the dagger like arrows will have the ability to be "tainted" with potion effects making it unique within the melee weapon arsenal ... Why is it epic? Not everything you suggest is epic. Epic is your own opinion. I'm not gonna trust you, every other one of your suggestions aren't the best. Stop saying to trust you.
but the epic does not end here -__- the Dagger has a unique "passive" ability that is undoubtedly epic among the tools and weapons of Minecraft and that is namely thus; it is not subject to the usual "recharge" on switching weapons. Those of you familiar with 1.9 will have much experience with this concept ... when switching weapons you have to wait for the sword to "recharge" and can not attack with it right away (think of it as a "balancing" feature to prevent people from switching between a sword and an axe to "maximize" damage per second). The dagger will not be subject to this "recharge" delay ... instead being able to attack immediately upon being switched to ... however it does not come without its own cost -__- the dps of the weapon will likely be that of a hoe or shovel, I am not sure yet ... the specifics of which can be left to Mojang :2 You can't keep letting Mojang do all the work. It's your suggestion, you make all the details. Mojang is there to possibly implement. Not build the idea. I like the poison idea though.
This gives the dagger a unique use in the combat-focused player's arsenal ... a weapon to quickly switch to and apply a potion debuff to their opponent before switching back to the sword for more standard damage ...
I figure the "damage health" potion will also have to be tweaked :2 in order to not make the dagger completely overpowered .. my idea is thus: damage health when on the dagger will proc a sort of "reverse absorption" effect on the opponent. Essentially the concept is simple ... where instead of having a "bonus" 2 hearts of health, the player's "maximum" health will go down by 2 hearts for the duration of the potion effect -__- Good Bartin. It's not op.
I like the idea, good suggestion now, but its been suggested millions of times before. No support.

Aug 2, 2011Due to the Slender Man similarities, many have petitioned to change the name "Endermen" to "Far Landers". Notch has stated however that he will not change their name, regardless of this petition, going as far as to joke that he should change the name of the Far Lands to "The End" instead.Posted in: News
Directly from Notch, notice the "Notch has stated however that he will not change their name regardless of his petition"
Also they aren't even FROM The Far Lands, why is everyone saying it?
Aug 2, 2011Yeah I think Endermen sounds better, because I know that Farlanders refer to MC, but they have nothing to do with the Farlands, who knows? They could be only in the very middle of your world. Even though Endermen isn't original, i'd go with that, and it was the name Notch got, so why Farlanders? No one even knows that they originate from the Far Lands.Posted in: News

The only thing I really got out of that commment was the last sentence...
Why can't we just drop it and let notch decide? It is his game
I somewhat agree. It's not really he peoples choice. Notch could come out with 1.8 right now and call them the shadowsofdeathandkilldeathdies for all we care.
