You're not going to find DDOS protection and cheap in the same or near the same price range.

First off, you're not going to get more than 256 from most providers for free.
Most hosts don't care if you give them co-owner etc as it's useless to us.

Lastly don't use stupid colors in your post here it just makes it hard to read.

I'd suggest not getting anything without a SSD. I'd also suggest searching on here or Google for some reviews of the places.

A large amount of the price difference comes from a few things.
1. Renting hardware - This is a cheap way to start out your business you don't have huge upfront costs for hardware, network, staff costs. Doing this you have less control over everything however it's cheap easy to get more nodes up. If you own the hardware you have huge upfront costs even more when you're looking at companies such as ours we have five locations at the moment in which we're also in the middle of having our own network setup. Just our routers for our own network the amount of upfront costs on this is huge we also have long term contracts with bandwidth providers which most are for 3 years.

2. Staff costs - A lot of places only have one or two people working for their business which means they can afford to not worry about paying for staff this means slower replies most times.

3. New companies even ones which are a year old on here, they are all in price wars trying to be the cheapest provider around, doing this means less money which would cover more staff, better hardware, etc.

4. Low prices, people providing prices at say $5/gb this means on a E3-1230 with 32gb of ram they would only be getting say $150 a month from that type of system, this system itself from a decent provider costs anywhere from 150-250 per month that leaves no room to make money, (This $150 is if only 30gb was used) Some providers here will put a bunch of swap space on a box and load that server with say 45-50gb of ram which would make them some good amount of money on there however can create massive issues.

Being able to have a full time staff, pay taxes, accounting fees, lawyer costs etc all of those things really add up which a lot of people don't think about when they charge a lower amount. We have been in business running just Minecraft servers for the past three years. Providing other game servers and dedicated servers for over 6 years.

There is always going to be price wars in any type of market, we try to stay out of those. Game server hosting is one of those markets you see so many people come and go.

My suggestion is to check out a few companies which you like, contact them using a pre-sales ticket, or chat system and see who provides a good and speedy reply. Then go from there, it really helps.

I'm not trying to say all budget providers will give you bad service or anything like this, however most times corners are cut.

You're going to have a hard time finding any good dedicated server for that type of budget, you really should look at getting a higher budget for this. You are looking at Desktop grade hardware which I'd suggest not doing if you can as it's realy just not good to use that type of hardware as a server.

They are able to do this because they own the datacenter they have their servers in. The datacenter, databaseby design, started minecrafted.net and is selling their own server space. Lets just say their full rack is $1000 a month 38 servers in that rack their colocation costs would be around $28 per month if they bought the cheapest hardware it would be say $700-1000 that would take them 2 years to make any type of money off their servers on top of that you would have costs for people who work for you etc.

There is just no way that anyone could afford to run a business in the red for 2 years. Anyone with half a brain that knows about colocation etc should know this.

I think that a company lying to everyone about not owning it makes them very shady and I would never do business with a company like that. If they started out with the truth, then I would have said good for them. I have no issues with people starting out companies and making a go of it, I do, however, have issues with people who lie and falsify things.

As for companies not matching that it's because they have the costs of colocation along with bandwidth and staff costs. Plus they also need to be able to make a living.

I have nothing against them, just their business practice.

You're not going to find any host give you a free server which is good by any means. You're getting money from your server why should someone running a business not make a little bit of money from you?

This is a truly superior minecraft server host. You get full jar access, and the BukGet plugins function is great because you do not have to download anything to your PC. Also, Jake is always happy to help with your server no matter what you need, and you can tell he knows what he's doing; I've never once gotten an "I don't know." from him. I would definitely suggest this site to anybody looking for a great server host.

Unfortunately, you chose to cancel for reasons that are not covered under our TOS. We offered you multiple choices and explained how things worked and you still chose to cancel your plan. That was your choice.

We are sorry that you were unhappy with our TOS. You complained about the fact we have a "ghetto" panel, even though we use Multicraft and it states that on our website. You also stated we don't support FTB, which again is incorrect. as we offer full jar access for any modding that a customer would like.

I used to rent from these guys last fall but had to shut down my server. On March 9th, I decided I wanted to host again when I was cleaning out my email and found the saved emails from them. I head over to their site and and rent a server since I had a great experience with them in the past. Well, it's now the 12th and server is still pending and no contact from support. I filed a claim with PayPal and hope that gets taken care of. Avoid these guys at all costs, nothing but a scam now.

Hi there. I do not work for them, but am a customer. Hopefully I can answer a bit. You can upload custom jars, things like Feed The Beast, Tekkit, Voltz, etc. You can use Filezilla to upload the custom jars to the server, it is terrific! We have changed our server from tekkit to FTB. Looking at possibly changing to another now too

I think dedicated IP is $2.00/month.

You wont go wrong getting a server from these guys!

If you have never played on a drugserver before, the object is to go far away, settle, create a farm of whatever drug you want. Go to the city and sell it for some bucks, and buy your own plot if you want to. When you make more drugs, you can type /rankup to level up and get even more respected. Higher ranks also contain more features, so its not a waste of money. Around the city and towns there will be police officers on patrolling, so keep an eye up for them, as they will arrest you if you are seen with drugs!




An experienced and helpful staff is around to keep the players happy, and to make sure the rules of the game are being followed. If you have any questions or need help with anything, please bring it to the staff!

In this spoiler you will find a complete command list to use ingame:

• Addict - You just joined the world of drugs, and will have to proove yourself a real grower in order to reach the next rank.
• Grower - Other players now consider you a treat and will lay more pressure on you in the time ahead.
• Dealer - As you get more used to the drugs and your criminal friends, there is no way back, the only way of life now is failure or success, go big or go home!
• Baron - You climb higher and higher in the ranks and you are now a respected criminal. The police know that you fear nothing and will think twice if they consider approaching you.
• Supplier - As the Kingpin's second hand, you are able to take care of anything. Hard tasks is no match for you now.
• Major Exporter - You put your life at risk as you take care of huge drug exports.
• Kingpin - Hard work has almost made you to be the most feared criminal of all time, will you make it?
• Godfather - The final grade, and the world of drugs is at its knees for you. There is nothing that can wipe you off your throne, but dont forget to keep an eye on the upcoming criminals!

Want to apply to join the police force? Your job will be to hunt down drug farms and jail those who does not follow the rules. You can obviously not grow drugs yourself, or make any money from them. Please fill out this short application:

• Why should we let you join the police force?

Global:

• 1) Do not argue with the staff, they have the final say in all matters. In the case of mods/staff and you feel they are wrong please calmly bring it to the staff, as soon as possible, not 3 weeks later.
• 2) No hacking or mods of any kinds. This includes the obvious hacks such as xray, all the way to abusing glitches, chunk errors etc. They will all be considered as cheating.
• 3) Leave your nerd rage at the door. This is a rage free server. If you cannot act older than a 10year old throwing a temper tantrum, your time here will be short. The staff has a zero tolerance for nerd rage of any kind.
• 4) Do not disrespect the staff in any way, shape or form. This includes direct insults, subtle hints, sarcasm when the outcome isn't what you wanted, and other comments towards the staff or the server.
• 5) Griefing is allowed, its up to you to defend your properties and valueables. However, 1x1 towers will not be tolerated, and will result in a kick or ban. Its is not allowed to grief with lava and water.
• 6) PvP avoiding and pushing other into a PvP-zone is not allowed. This includes logging out and using commands. If you try to log out in the middle of a fight, you will get killed instantly, let this be a warning.
• 7) If you are aware of someone cheating/hacking and do not report it, you will be grouped with the person and punished accordingly. In other words if you know someone is doing something they shouldn't, report it!

Police and jailing:

• 1) You can get jailed if seen with drugs and weapons (sword/bow), if caught in a farm and if you fight others.
• 2) The cops have to wear a blue wool hat all the time. Do /hat while holding the wool.
• 3) You are able to fight/kill the cops, but you will most likely get jailed before you get to kill one.

Hosting a trafficed server has a fairly high cost and depend on donations in order to stay alive. If you would like to donate, type "/donate" ingame, or visit our webshop(link coming here soon). Donations are considered a gift and will not be refunded. If the server has to close, you will get refunded if you donated within a month before the closing date. Any amount of donation is really appreciated and help to keep the server alive and updated. Thanks alot for your support!
