But yes, I'm very happy to finally have it in the mod. It's a bit of a Swiss-army knife of blocks, similar to the Block Dispenser in that regard. I'm sure folks will come up with many more uses for it than I've even thought of.
He really (really really) doesn't like Forge. If someone else made a patch for a specific other mod, he probably wouldn't object. However, if you ask him to make a patch, he'll be sarcastic at you.
Thanks, Jed for getting me an answer. I'll try to find someone to help me make a patch for IC2. First off, jedi, do you know anything about coding with forge mods and how hard it would be?
Lol! It appears I wasn't the only one missing the entitled brats :smile.gif:
So, in this case, there is absolutely no chance of flowerchild releasing a compatibility patch for not only IC2 but any forge mod? And if one were to come along, flowerchild, that wanted to make a compatibility patch for a few forge mods and yours, what would you say about that?
Hold on there, Flowerchild. Let me make a point. You and stormweaver probably said the EXACT same thing when someone out there cried for BC to be compatible, so why not this time? Plus, IC has more features than you can count!
I am also a bit aggrivated by the ill-compatibility of this mod. Love it, and won't be able to live without it (now that my giant city has all it's content in it.) But, even if my city was all default, I still couldn't live without this/Buildcraft. I would be so grateful if you did make this forge compatible, as I'm sure all the other industry mods are not only compatible but rely on forge to make them work. I would really love for you to either make this mod forge compatible or release a patch similar to Better Then Buildcraft fo IC2. I love IC's ideas for power and stuff, and you can do so much more with that. Now that my city has run out of industry space, I'm actually looking to my new underground complex New Black Mesa for answers for where I should put all this high tech, high danger equpment in my city.
Short version: Release a compatibility patch for IC2.
Hey, there. I have noticed that Better Than Wolves and Buildcraft have both been updated to 1.1. However, Better Then Buildcraft has not. I would assume that you are already working hard away at this, but please start soon as for some odd reason my 1.0 .jar that has this, BTW, and BC has become broken. My enormous city, Azure City, includes BTW and BC thanks to this amazing mod and you can view it at my channel, AlaskanTrain21. Look it up on Google. I would really like to get back to work on my city but I can't until this is updated.
I have two requests that I'm gonna make, flowerchild, but I'm not exactly sure if you're going to like it.
I found this amazing mod on the internet called Railcraft. I already had ModLoaderMP, ModLoader, TMI, Better Then Wolves, Better Then Buildcraft, and Buildcraft. It needed ModLoader and MP which I already had, but when I installed it and turned on minecraft, it crashed. I'm assuming this is because of your mod, which you claim is "Incompatible with everything!" and I agree. However, I need you to somehow make better then wolves compatible with Railcraft.
Thanks,
The world is fully playable (includes ores, trees, etc). Elevation has been scaled to fit the constraints of a Minecraft world. Sea level was adjusted to 40 blocks which puts Mt. Everest at 121 blocks high. The Earth was generated with various images from NASA (including landmass, satellite, elevation, and vegetation maps) using a custom python script incorporating codewarrior’s pymclevel python library.
After receiving suggestions for ways to make the Earth better, we decided to make some updates. Our changes are as follows:
Added Rivers
Added Ocean Topography
Added Caves
Ores Appear in Clumps
Created Different Spawns
Added City Signs
Fixed various bugs (Anarctica, Sand/Grass Mix, etc)
For this world there are two downloads: a single-player and a multi-player version. The only difference between the two is that the SSP world includes bed and signs while the SMP world does not. These are at various cities that will allow you to not only see where you are, but also set your spawn.
SSP: Included in the "world" folder is a "spawns" folder with city folders inside. Before you play, copy/paste the "level.dat" from a city folder into the "world" folder, replacing the original level.dat. When you start up be sure to sleep in your bed, otherwise you may glitch upon respawning.

Minor Problem: The oceans freeze over.
