Hey Sildur, just want to, again, say thank you for the beautiful shaders throughout these many years. Thank you.
They have been a part of my Minecraft-ing since at least 2014. So, it's a small comfort to see them still worked on and have them in the newest version of minecraft.
Also, thank you for adding the smooth transition to the depth of feild. It's wonderful.
Hope things are well for you and continue to be so. Thank you again.

chocapic13 posted a message on [1.14] Chocapic13's ShadersPosted in: Minecraft ModsThe shaderpack has moved to CurseForge !
Also check out my High Performance shaders !
Old Post :
This shaderpack aims for a high quality/performance ratio on a wide range of hardware.
Unlike other lightweight shaderpacks, this one tries to maintain a decent quality level even at the lowest possible preset; while the highest presets are able to run at around 60 fps on a mid range gpu like the RX 580 or the GTX 1060.
Performance that you could expect at 1080p 12 render distance (default minecraft world) on a RX 480 or similar:
Extreme : 55-70 fps, Ultra : 70-90 fps, High : 100-120fps, Medium : 140-170 fps, Low : 160-220 fps, Lite : 200-250 fps, Toaster Edition : 300+ (CPU limited on a Ryzen 7 2700X)
Performance that you could expect at 1080p 8 render distance (default minecraft world) on an Intel HD 630 or similar:
Toaster Edition : 65-80 fps, Lite : 50-60 fps, Low : 35-40 fps, Medium : 25-30 fps

1-Be sure to have the latest drivers for your graphic card.
For 1.8.8 and newer:
Shadermod is now included into optifine, so install optifine and go directly to step 5.
Older minecraft versions:
2-Download the shaders mod by karyonix if it haven't be done already :
http://www.minecraft...ed-by-karyonix/
3-Install forge if you are using 1.7.2
3'-Optionnal but recommended : install optifine
4-Copy ShadersModCore-....jar to %appdata%\.minecraft\mods folder for 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 OR use karyonix's installer for 1.7.5 or 1.7.4
5-Launch minecraft, options->shaders->open shaderpack folder, and copy here the folders "V6-extreme,ultra..."
6-Launch a world, and choose which pack fit the best to your computer (into shaders options).
Recommended optifine settings :
Old Lighting : OFF or DEFAULT!
Vignette : Fast
Clear water : Off for Lite/Low/Medium, On for High/Ultra/Extreme
Smooth Lighting Level : 55-75% for Lite/Low/Medium/High, 0-20% for Ultra/Extreme
Clouds : Default or offCustom sky : Off even if for some ressourcepack leaving it to On will work.

Modification and sharing:
You may find these a bit annoying, but I tried to make my shaderpack editable and redistributable by everyone when most content creators of minecraft just block modification and redistribution.
Sharing a modified version of my shaders:
-You are not allowed to claim any of the code included in "Chocapic13' shaders" as your own
-You can share a modified version of my shaders if you respect the following title scheme : " -Name of the shaderpack- (Chocapic13' Shaders edit) "
-You cannot use any monetizing links (for example adfoc.us ; adf.ly)
-The rules of modification and sharing have to be same as the one here (copy paste all these rules in your post and change depending if you allow modification or not), you cannot make your own rules, you can only choose if you allow redistribution.
-I have to be clearly credited
-You cannot use any version older than "Chocapic13' Shaders V4" as a base, however you can modify older versions for personal use
-Common sense : if you want a feature from another shaderpack or want to use a piece of code found on the web, make sure the code is open source. In doubt ask the creator.
-Common sense #2 : share your modification only if you think it adds something really useful to the shaderpack(not only 2-3 constants changed)Special level of permission; with written permission from Chocapic13, on request if you think your shaderpack is an huge modification from the original:
-Allows to use monetizing links
-Allows to create your own sharing rules
-Shaderpack name can be chosen
-Listed on Chocapic13' shaders official thread
-Chocapic13 still have to be clearly credited
Using this shaderpack in a video or a picture:
-You are allowed to use this shaderpack for screenshots and videos if you give the shaderpack name in the description/message
-You are allowed to use this shaderpack in monetized videos if you respect the rule above.
Minecraft websites:
-The download link must redirect to the download link given in the shaderpack's official thread-There has to be a link to the shaderpack's official thread
-You are not allowed to add any monetizing link to the shaderpack download
If you are not sure about what you are allowed to do or not, PM Chocapic13 on http://www.minecraftforum.net/
Not respecting these rules can and will result in a request of thread/download shutdown to the host/administrator, with or without warning. Intellectual property stealing is punished by law.
Reporting a bug :
-Explain what happens-Screenshot of the bug
-Give your system specs-Shaderpack version (number and performance preset)
-If there is an invalid program error send me the end of the console log
Thanks :
-Daxnitro, for creating the original shadermod.
-Karyonix, for updating the shadermod and giving me some help.-sp614x, for merging optifine and shadermod and updating it.
-DeDelner, for some code parts and ideas of improvements.
-Sildur, for some code parts and ideas of improvements.
-The Continuum shader team, for the extended shadow distance and lens flares.
-Sasukedll7170, for cleaning up a bit my code and some suggestions.

I think some of this has been mentioned/asked before, but I’d like to suggest it again.
I like playing with the Depth-of-Field effect on because, well, it adds a sense of depth. But a small issue crops up when mining. The tools’ animation goes in front of the crosshair which causes the focus to rapidly go in and out of focus as you mine. So, I was wondering if you could you add a sort of smoothing to the focus change. This also could just be an all-around nice effect. It would be nice if the speed or amount of smoothing could be adjusted in the shader options.
I also like to play with the Distance Blur on, as it makes for a nice distance fog substitute (which is not present on the Vibrant Shaders). But one downside of using the Distance Blur option is you lose the changing focus that the normal DoF affect has, and thus some of the sense of depth you get for things that are close. You still get the sense of far away things being far, but you lose the effect of close things being close, if that makes sense. So, I was wondering if you could also add an option for the Distance Blur affect to behave like the DoF effect, in that when you look at things close to you, the distance blur also moves closer to you.
Thirdly, I was wondering if it was easily possible to make the sky come into focus when you look at it when using the Distance Blur affect. Some texture/resource packs have some really nice skies, and it would just be nice to be able to see them occasionally when using the distance blur. Maybe the distance blur effect reduces in amount depending on how far up into the sky you’re looking, so as not to just jump from being out of focus to being in focus (probably easier said than done).
(Side Note: Discovered the amount of blur is affected by the render distance, or at least the "Blur view distance" is. When the render distance is on the higher end, the sky is very blurry.)
Lastly, I’d like to ask if you could add some quality variables or options for the DoF effect in the Enhanced Default Shader. Right now, the effect looks a bit more like a smear, which I understand is probably far less “expensive”. But, If a system has the performance, It might be nice to have some options that would allow you to choose the amount of “fragments” and/or how many arms/directions there are in the blur, thus the quality (if I’m understanding it right or if it’s even a thing).
TL;DR :
------------------------------
- A smooth transition between focus points for the DoF effect.
- A dynamic "blur view distance" option for Distance Blur.
- An ability for the sky to be in focus when looking at it using Distance Blur.
- A quality option for the DoF effect in Enhanced Default.
Thank you for your wonderful shaders and the time and effort you’ve put into them as well as your patience and support. I’ve been using your shaders for years (like 5+), and they have become standard shaders of mine. I very much appreciate it. They add quite a bit to the Minecraft experience. Thank you again.

(August 8th, 2022)Posted in: Minecraft ModsHi Sildur, your shaders are the best I have seen so far! Thanks so much for making them and keeping them alive. I used to use SEUS, but now I switched to yours due to the considerably better performance and update reliability.
I have some suggestions for making them even better:
- Add distance fog that only starts at an adjustable distance from the player without fogging closer areas. This could be used to hide the rendering border, as new chunks would appear in the fogged area (as implemented in Minecraft Bedrock by default). This would be a more "natural" effect than the existing distance blur.
- When it rains, there is fog inside buildings. This should only be visible where the rain actually is.
- Make stars invisible below the horizon. Currently they are visible below the sea level if the render distance is very small. I switched to the default Minecraft sky as a workaround.
- Make the stars a bit smaller/darker and less prominent.
- Make water movement dependent on the water size. Small water volumes like puddles or aquariums should hardly move at all, while the sea should have bigger waves than a lake.
- Make underwater blocks slightly blurred when viewed from above the surface (I really liked that feature with SEUS).
- Make god rays from the moon weaker than those from the sun (or separately adjustable). Currently they appear too prominent, even at the lowest setting.
- Add some reflections on clear glass (as present on stained glass).
- Fix a bug that sometimes makes pixels of white light appear at block edges when mining in the darkness underground (not sure whether this is shader-related though).
Kind regards,
Joerg

I think its just the lowlight area shadow hack to prevent leakages being triggered on and off because of the lightlevels.
The driver I've linked you is the correct one, but your gpu might has a different/custom device ID so you need to force flash it once and run the setup afterwards. After that you will be able to update it with just the setup again, for future updates.
Intels website has two options .exe and .zip, download the zip file and unpack it.
Open your device manager - rightclick your gpu device - update driver - on this pc - pick from list - harddrive/harddisk and pick iigd_dch.inf inside the graphics folder (from the intel zip file package). After that run the intel setup again.
Might be a mod issue, check if it happens with just optifine.
