    little maid looks pretty sweet, I love having a USEFUL buddy in SSP, but Im on 1.6.4 :( Do you know if there are any other mods that use MMMLib ? This is the coolest "follower" mod I have ever seen though. She can do SO much stuff, and random snowball fights ? Wow. see I had never heard of this that I remember. I wonder what else is out there...

    I love this mod, some variety finally ! But when you first start out, it can be incredibly hard. I cant think of a way to balance things out except to just play until I have decent base, weapons and armor, then log out, add it and log back in. Minecraft apparently has built in progressive difficulty now, "the longer you spend in one place the harder it gets" I guess. Is this mod like that too ? Maybe I should get rid of Zombie Awareness too, But I dont like the idea of Zombies ignoring me just because I am a few blocks away behind a tree... I think there needs to be a mod that adds progressive difficulty or something. 1 in game day in peaceful when you start, Normal by the 2nd night, Hard by Week 2 and limited Lives when you reach The End ??? idk, maybe not that, but something like it.

    Somewhat related to this, does anyone know how to add connected textures and random mobs to Tekkit Launcher packs without Optifine. I was going to use MCPatcher, but it only sees regular laucnher profiles; or I am not smart enough to figure out how to install it to Tekkit modpack.jars or whatever... Sidenote, I am abotu to try FPSPlus on my mac. will post results on that thread

    Get Custom Mob Spawner, its very useful with new Biomes from any mod. Also is great for adding this mobs and mobs from any other mod to spawn in any biome, or to make vanilla stuff spawn, giants, mooshrooms oh my !

    Yeah I realized I had gone off on a rant, but Im not sure how to clean it up now. I want to learne to use Minetweaker or just flat out learn Java so i can really get things how I want them... What is Tofucraft Algester ? and how do you navigate the Japanese sight ? I have thought about looking at their mods but I wasnt sure how to translate not only the page, but the mods themselves...

    We're all awaiting Forge it seems. I dont really mind at the moment. I have a 176 piece 1.6.4 puzzle that I am putting together, I have all the other pieces put together finally, but Matmos and its' expansions are one of the corner pieces :( so I guess I will just have a "complete" picture with no corner peice or will have to put together a new 1.7 puzzle, I doubt all 176 of my favorite puzzle peices will fit in the 1.7 picture for a long time though :(

    I was thinking about making a poll, but I dont feel like a Tekkit vs FTB slugfest. Those are both good platforms with alot of good mods, but really, it doesnt matter what PLATFORM you use, the mods are what contain the amazing content, and if I knew how to make my own launcher, I would. I have never used a plain modpack, I have tried, but i ALWAYS end up taking mods out or putting others in. I am hoping alot of people do this and I want to hear what everyone has to say. And I don't mean stuff like Modular Power Suits is AWESOME or Thermal Expansion is the BEST EVER PERIOD. I wanna know about some mods I have never heard of and why they work well together in your modpack.

    For instance, I have TimeScaler making my MC days longer, which lets me explore Biomes O' Plenty easier, and for longer. I feel like I can explore further without bringing a bed and half my supplies with me just in case I dont make it back before night, BUT even if I dont, I have the Sleeping Bag mod in my Backpack mod so if I sleep it wont reset my spawn. Whilst exploring, BOP's rich environment, there's many new flowers which look great with the Blocks 3D mod, which Ars Magica's Trama Root looks really cool in 3D as well. These new Biomes are filled with new threats from Grimiore of Gaia mobs and Better Dungeon too, both set up to spawn just how I want them to with Custom Mob Spawning. To combat all these new threats and dangerous terrain, I can hire a guard from Minecraft Comes Alive or spawn an ally from MineBattles, I also have new traps and weapons from Balkon's Weapon Mod and Trapcraft or maybe a custom sword from Tinkers Construct or some of the loot from GoG or Better Dungeons could help. I have waaaay too many to keep going, but you get the idea.

    I feel like all my mods balance each other out and compliment each other well. Maybe your server or SSP game is something like Call of Duty with GunCus and Flans Mods. Maybe its exteme survival and exploration style with Hunger Mod and HarvestCraft with Iguana Tweaks. I am just taking a break and want to get some ideas. Both of the popular launchers I mentioned offer custom modpack support, but alot of those I look through seem like repeats of the popular ones like Unleashed, just with one or two more mods. I want to hear somehting really unique, even if its something small, like Grim's Slingshot mod, I love that thing, its not much cheaper and is certainly weaker than a bow, but hey, who has a million feathers on day 1 ? ...and not all mods have to have 500 new blocks to be cool. Another favorite of mine doesnt add any blocks, its InGameInfo and Iove it too...So what do YOU guys love ?

    I dont want to enable cheats, but having new options for spawning would be nice, for instance, when you are really far into a game, and you have your big setup nice house, but you're somewhat farther away, working on another project and you dont want to place a bed and have to leave it, BUT you dont want to spawn all the way back home if you die. ALSO, if you are working your way BACK towards home, say you DID place your new bed and die when you are almost back to your base. There's a mod for almost everything else, why not this ? Hopefully someone sees the need and makes it. There IS a sleeping bag mod for the option to NOT reset spawn but still sleep. Perhaps a configurable "sleeping bag" of sorts, and when you pick it back up, you have an option to reset your spawn to your previous one ? Or maybe even better, the option to set your spawn without sleeping, I'd fidn that very helpful, as my minecraft days are 3x longer on my worlds ( I LOVE that, esp. with Biomes O' Plenty ). Somewhat on this topic though, the Crystal Wing mod does add an option for teleporting home so it is somewhat helpful to situations like this...wow I am rambling...

    if its conflicting with Damage Indicators, you can drag the DI HUD somewhere else in the in-game menu. The Key to open the DI menu is under the controls menu I think

    I am also having a similar problem, but its because I am on a Mac and I cant turn off Multi-Core Threading or some...thing...idk i dont remember, but it makes certain mod's textures very buggy and ugly. Anyway, Forge seems to have some optimization built in. I actually saw FPS IMPROVEMENT when I removed optifine. Also, I'd like to mention that several mods I had "didnt support" optifine, but loaded just fine, other than the texture I mentioned, which I beleive is a Mac problem.

    I have a ridiculous amount of mods, 164 i beleive. My fps is still around 25, playable to me, and most of the time everything works fine, worlds load and save fine, all the mods work as intended, as far as I can tell all IDs are good, not conflicting, I have NEI Biomes O Plenty and many more, some big some small. I beleive this crash has happened 4 times, I should have posted the log each time but it loaded fine afterwards so i just kept playing, but I finally decided to see if anyone had any ideas. Everytime it has happened, I had been playing in the same world with no problems for some time without adding new mods, and it only happens when i am crafting. anyway heres the crash log:

    Okay so, maybe this is a new problem. Anytime I put 3 wool in a row, as in to make my first bed, no matter what color wool i use, the game is now crashing.

    Utility Mobs adds equippable defender mobs, but they lack the ability to follow or guard on command. Oku's Friend Mod back in 1.2.5 was awesome, I wish it would come back. In SSP its nice to have an AI friend that talks to you and can follow you or guard an area that can equip any weapon and armor you give them. Male/Female options are good too. The priestess girls that heal you from TaleofKingdoms were really cool. Just trying to give you some ideas. Also, please make the block craftable !

    Edit: Add some sort of targetlist either in game or the config like utility mobs has, my soldiers keep attacking MCA civillians and friendly mobs from Grimiore of Gaia

    This is by far one of the best enemy-adding mods out there, I am surprised it isnt more popular than it already is. Very very good job :Diamond: !!! Using TrapCraft to combat the new threat, or Balkon's weapon Mod and Utility Mobs, I have had ALOT of fun. I also recommend using Mob Spawn Control if you have ExtraBiomesXL or Biomes O' Plenty to tweak the spawn rates for these new mobs in the new biomes.
