    I wish there was some sort of repository for all the awesome configs people have set up. Mostly because I am too lazy/stupid to figure out my own.And also because this mod is powerful and with enough knowlegde and know-how it can probably do alot of awesome stuff we don't even realize.


    Aaaanyways, does anyone feel like helping me implement something like ArmorStatus HUD ? I want to figure out how to display a simple 0-100% durabilty for each piece of armor with 3 or 4 colors based off the percentage left and then one for the current equipped item, and maybe the icons too...Is this even possible ?

    Yes, I too am curious, although I'm guessing this adds a new mob altogether, thus the breeding and milk timeout from hunger overhaul is most likely ignore with this mod, correct ? If at all possible, could you add the compatability to this mod ? or better yet, add config options to alter all animals from this mod's breeding timeout and milk timeout...

    I have a question but I think I already know the answer...

    On the world creation screen under ore gen options, when I go to advanced options and set the tons of sliders exactly how I want them all, is there a way to save that and /or make it the new default ?

    Dude, great job. This is awesome, with all the huge amount of machines added by GT and thanks to you the ability to tweak them and add new stuff,along with CustomItems, I think I can put anything into my hardcore GT progression tree now. Thank you so much ! I'm also very glaits for GT 5, I plan to stick with it for some time...

    I like anything that amps up the difficulty, especially in the beginning. IDK what it is about that freshly spawned low tech primal caveman steve in me...Sorta like TFC, 'cept this has a real caveman feel, jurassicy primal PRIMAL type stuff, it fits really well, especially a new dimension with none of your 10-seconds-in-but can-build-a-civilized-cottage stone tools coming with ya...I cant wait for this ! In fact this is the first thing to even make me ponder checking out 1.8...lol...I rarely play vanilla, but normally I at least stick the NEW version on my vanilla launcher and spawn in a new world to at least "check it out"... Not this time though...Not til this is out probably...lol

    I love ALL your mods, they are great, those little extra random things that add the mmph my modpacks needs...lol...I had a question though, I can't find on the wiki: with NEI I noticed all the paintings were on the tabs, is that just for creative mode/NEI Cheat Mode convenience ?


    Anyways, I have used your Nether, End and Surface mods all3 for as long as I can remember, great job :D

    1.7.10 I am told, compared to 1.7.2, is far more stable and just all around better, including the forge versions themselves while 1.7.2 is "crashy" and bug-ridden...If you are still alive and have any interest in this mod, do us ALL a favor and update to 1.7.10; NOT 1.7.5 or 1.7.2

    Rotting Mechanic - keep food in a fridge to slow/stop rotting. Uncooked food rots faster.


    Campfire - a quick, easy to make furnace used strictly for cooking a very limited set of foods on the go, also can burn food easier than the oven if left unattended ?


    (more) Pre-Nether potion effects - a fermenting barrel ? Brewing mechanics, wine, beer ? craftable "energy drinks", med kits ? idk...

    Hey Gilly, I D/L your templates, and they sound pretty cool, but I would really like to know exactly what I am putting in my world. As of now, I can't think of a way to spawn them just for testing one at a time, and starting a world only to have something I don't want weeks later sounds bad. Also, I am seeing these adventure labled ones and wondering exactly how they're meant to be used. I don't suppose you have any pics or even simple text explanations of them all somewhere ? I will more than likely keep them all but I just wanted to have a better idea what each was before putting them in my world

    Still, a list with quick explanations would be cool

    I agree, I play with what others would consider "Ultra-Harcore" setups. And since I consider this to be purely cometic, I see zero point in making it any more "balanced" if one can even use that word here, as chiseled blocks have no impact on prgression. I think that the chisels being damageable and requiring resources is enough. Before I even minetweaked the recipe down to use flint instead of iron since my pack required a tiCon smeltery and bronze picks to even get iron and process it (not to mention Custom Ore Gen sticking iron off in snowy biomes in rarer cloud formations).
    Also, if you have hardened the stone with Gregtech or Iguana Tweaks, it's nice to leave some Chisel blocks at normal break speeds and be able to use them as an alternative building materials, OR at least have variations of wood to build with until later down the road when you can affor some sort of cobblegen or mining machine...Just my 2 cents though.

    All of that aside, I was playing with some technical blocks, and the transparent malfunctioning fan doesnt seem to move, it looks exactly like the "(off)". The non-transparent one is great though...

    This mod sounds like exactly what I was wishing for in the ftb mod suggestion thread. I'm guessin as I'm not a coder that mods like GregTech and TiCon don't extend the tool class or something and therefor can not break their usual blocks with your mod installed. Perhaps you could add support for adding in tools to proper lists manually ? GokiStats had a good in-game way to add certain tools/weapons to desired skill sets. However with GT & TiCon both having meta style tools, this could be a very VERY long process. Perhaps a GT-like option to "force" adventure mode via config options as an alternative ? Beyond that, I LOVE this mod, it really is exactly what I would make if I could code myself...Without making this a TFC clone, do you think there's any other similar ideas in the works ? Planks require saws, bricks are processed beyond clay in a furnace, clay can do ALOT of dif things in this setting, maybe mud-bricks that dry in the sun, thatch roofing ? just random ideas. My early game is lacking without this mod and with some other mods in place, stone isnt a feasible building material until you find iron and redstone, so mud-brick/adobe stuff would be awesome...ok im rambling...

    Its like a mod I have dreamed about forever. I wish someone could somehow bring mcMMO to single player with enemy/ally NPCs of all kinds. I don't recall the name, but if u look thru WIP mods here u should come across a mod based on Battlegear 2 that also adds skills and classes inspired by WoW. It looks really awesome, but be warned the updated version for 1.7+ isn't ready yet...
