Other than the fact that it looks very boxy from the outside, it looks really cool. Be REALLY careful if you try the fireplace idea. I managed to burn down 4-story Victorian mansion once...not cool.
What do you guys think of what ive done?
Ive maked a farm like "Shyssa" said, but the center with the "hanging three", what do you meen by that? :smile.gif:
k...A "hanging tree" is a tree in which you hang people. You could also make an actual gallows. It's up to you which one will look more in place in your kingdom.
There not dogs there wolfs am i really the only one who uses the word "Wolf"?
Anyways just keep them in your house and go explore some new chunks and find mobs maybe that will work.
Mine aren't wolves...mine are Australian Blue Heelers... The wild ones are dingos. (because the blue heelers were the product of dingos and domesticated dogs that people brought to Australia)
Maybe it would be easy, maybe it wouldn't...But if it's really so easy, go write a mod yourself.

trust me it woldint be that hard it could just be a list.
If you know how to do it, then go do it. If you don't, then stop telling us how easy it is to do. In all reality, it would probably take a while to alter the game.
i'm assuming by the addition of the "tavern" that "kingdom of heaven" is just a name for a normal town...
you need a large farm...since that's mostly what people did in medieval times...(that and go on crusades) i recommend several acres w/ no grass. fence it off to keep cows and sheep from trampling your wheat.
also, basic staple of the medieval settlement is a castle or manor of some type
you also need a town square w/ a hanging tree and some stocks.
"Cheating" can't really be used here...You can't really "cheat" on a single player game...As long as you admit to using mods, there's no problem with it...
I play on peaceful. I enjoy this game because of the building potential. Some people like to play as nomads, some enjoy starting a mine and never coming back to the surface. Some enjoy punching creepers...
In single player, there are NO RULES EXCEPT THE ONES YOU SET FOR YOURSELF. In multiplayer, you are bound by the rules of the server.
I'm the type of person who has the sims installed on her computer, enjoys using the codes to give herself unlimited money, builds a giant house with anything her sims will ever need, and then gets pissed off and deletes it because sims are idiotic, picky, bipolar people.
But I would love to see the pics if you could figure out a new way to post them.
I have 5. I made a special skin for them, so they look like blue healers. Unfortunately, they all look the same. They all have the same blue eyes and collar...I can't tell them apart.
I won't be taming any more unless some way to make them look different is implemented. I mean, what's the point of having tons of pets if they're all the same? Even people who have goldfish don't keep a tank of 30 guppies (although they may end up with that many after a while)
However, if there was a way for me to have a couple blue healers, a black lab, a border collie, and maybe a poodle just for kicks, I'd be all for it.
IMO, the two shouldn't be mixed...if you want a pattern w/ something between them, use iron instead of mixing 2 colors that don't really work together...
looks good, but so does
i would put the iron or gold between iron because the silver is a more neutral color, but its your house, so your choice.
Though honestly, i think using obsidium would be a good idea too....
I've got ideas, but it might bump your settlement up to a town from a "small village"
Theatre - maybe complete with a backstage, orchestra pit, box seats, a multi-level stage (like for Romeo and Juliet)...you could even do something like the Sydney Opera House, if you're feeling adventurous
Courthouse - complete w/ court rooms, offices, public bathrooms, maybe even a dome roof?
Hotel - with multiple types of rooms (2 queens, 1 king, honeymoon suite, etc), continental breakfast area, pool, hottub, etc
Central Park - maybe with a playground, pond, walking path....
Dock - has been mentioned by someone else, but an awesome idea. use soul sand to save your boats from destruction
If your village is near/on a big hill or mountain, you could also add a stream going through it, which would involve building bridges and doing some landscaping
OMG wolfs have been added!
Spend days searching for wolves
Spend hours searching internet to figure out why I can't find wolves
Give up and cheat (yes, cheat) to make a wolf spawn
Tame wolf
Hit idiot wolf with mining pic on accident
Have mental breakdown over having hurt my puppy
Tell puppy to stay
Run into wild wolves, tame them, and tell them to stay
Spend hours designing skin for them so they look like blue healers
Continue on with my life while wolves stay safe in my house...because I think I'll suffer permanent emotional trauma if I get one of my pack of blue healers killed by any means.
Destroy/pick up bed and place it in new location, making sure that there is room around it for you to spawn.
Sleep in bed to set new spawn.
Jump off cliff/into lava/drown to test the new spawn. If it doesn't work, then you might have a major issue with your save, but I would have no clue how to fix it.
I never make hoes out of anything other than stone.
However....this is NOT because I don't want to waste resources....
It is because I am notoriously absentminded...I leave my farm w/ my hoe still in my inventory...then I get to one of my many houses/buildings and realize that I don't have room in my inventory for all the items i need out of the chest. So the hoe gets placed in a random chest in a random place and next time I go farming, I either can't remember where I placed my hoe or don't want to take the time to go get it.
Thus, I have about 20 hoes randomly placed around most of my worlds.
I also seem to misplace diamond picks/shovels, so I rarely make anything out of diamond unless I'm actively working with obsidium.
For someone as absentminded as me, disappears way too much to be used for...well...anything...

The entire city is gorgeous. Makes me feel sad and un-worthy...

Actually, compared to things like: gothic cathdral by freshmeat yes, it is small.
Other than the fact that it looks very boxy from the outside, it looks really cool. Be REALLY careful if you try the fireplace idea. I managed to burn down 4-story Victorian mansion once...not cool.

The buildings are pretty epic too.

Also, try and at least act mature...
