posted a message on (WIP) Adventure Backpack Mod - Beta 0.8c - UPDATED November 22nd 2015

I'm having an odd problem. Everything has been perfect until last night, when all the backpacks turned solid purple. It is modded, but until now things have worked just fine. Restarting does not help.

I have the following problem. The tabs in the render settings window keep getting larger each time the window is opened. It's gotten bad enough that now the content scrolls off the page. This persists even after the program is closed. I've also uninstalled without any success. Do you know of a way this can be fixed?

    What are your specs?

AMD FX-4100 Zambezi overclocked at 4.6GHz
EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 2GB
    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) RAM

I have 8GB of RAM allocated to Minecraft, as well as the latest drivers for my card. , the shaders work perfectly with no problems whatsoever on my NVIDIA. I'm not sure what the problem actually is, but obviously it isn't the cards.

I don't know what your issue is, but it works fine on my Minecraft. Just downloaded the shaders today. I can upload my modded client if needed as proof. Did you update your drivers? I have mine set to download any updates automatically.

v09 doesn't work with NVIDIA cards, man. You have to wait until Sonic fix this problem. Maybe you should read last couple pages before going crazy on deleting minecraft folder.

Version 09 does work with NVIDIA cards. It runs fine on mine with waving grass and trees.

My bad man. It's stock. I misunderstood the way a quad-core's speed is measured....damn...And...just noting, if you had read the quote entirely, you would have noticed I never claimed it was over clocked at all. Just a misunderstanding. In fact, I stated that the previous poster may have convinced me to TRY overclocking.

I know you meant stock clock, which is why I said "come clocked at". And don't overclock your CPU for daily use. The only point, unless you actually need the extra power for some CPU intensive work, is to show off your epeen. Overclocking just uses more power and can greatly reduce the life of your CPU, especially if not done right.

Get an adf.ly bypasser. There are plenty for Firefox and Chrome.

I have an i7 processor and the same GPU setup. Is you're CPU overclocked? Mine runs at 3.05 GHz per core and I don't get NEARLY that frame rate. And my texture pack is only 128. BF3, Crysis and Skyrim all hit max settings though. Seriously though, would you be able to test your FPS at stock clocks? If I can pull that performance by overclocking you just convinced me to try it.

Nonsense. Your i7 does not come clocked at 3.05GHz per core. Taking into account the six cores, that would give it a stock speed of 18.3GHz. The current world record for fastest clock speed is held by the AMD FX-8100 at 8.5GHz. Mind you, that is with a liquid nitrogen pot cooling it. If you had your i7 overclocked that much, especially with anything less than LN2 it would melt into slag. Your i7s stock speed is more likely to be around 800MHz per core, as the world record for clock speed with an i7 is only 1199Mhz per core.
    • AMD FX-4100 3.7GHz (stock speed, I have previously overclocked it to 4.5GHz)
    • 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series RAM
    • 2GB EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi)
With the above rig, I get about forty-five frames per second with a 256x texture pack.

    posted a message on Green Dragon | 24/7 - 42 Slots - Legit - Semi-Vanilla
Green Dragon isn't anything special. We don't have serious role-play, we don't have epic PvP, we aren't a trending niche server such as the Hunger Games. We're just your basic semi-Vanilla SMP experience. If you're tired of all the servers with huge command lists, where you need a reference manual just to play, then why not stop by. We're friendly, have a small community, and a fresh map.

We'd love to see you around!

    Features:
    • No white-list - Join and play immediately. Once you've looked at the signs in the spawn, you are free to venture forth without any more hurdles. No needing to wait for white-list approval, or for an admin to rank you.
    • No bloat - We don't have tons of useless plugins. We have just the basics to give you an enjoyable Vanilla experience. There is no need to memorize tons of commands.
    • Effortless area protection - Never fear griefing again. You can claim whole chunks just by building on them. No commands, no waiting for admins, no hassle.
    • Legitimate - Everything you see outside the spawn was built the hard way. Nobody, including admins, get to spawn items, ever, for any reason.
    • Friendly community - We're nice people. And we like to play with other nice people.
    • Small community - Right now, Green Dragon is still a small community of players. You can easily get to know everybody.
    • Fresh map - We just started up, so the map is wide open for settlement. We feature large biomes, so finding the right spot for you should be no problem at all.
    • Community website - We also have a community website with news, indie game reviews, tutorials, and forums. Sign up with your Minecraft username to import your avatar.

posted a message on Whats better. Skyrim, Oblivian, Or Minecraft
I don't see how a sandbox building game is comparable to epic fantasy, but if you told me I could only play one from now on, I would have to say Skyrim. I didn't pay $150 and spend the night outside in the freezing cold for MineCraft, after all.
