    Found the fix.


    To overwrite pre-existing loot tables your loot table must be in the following folder. With the namespace required to be "minecraft" Not as seen in the information provided by the wiki.


    "yourdatapack"/data/minecraft/entities/cow.json

    posted a message on loot tables in data packs broken?

    I wanted to create a custom loot table but first i wanted to run a test to see if it works. So for now i gave the vex the loot table of the slime. I placed the new vex.json w/o modifying any part of the code in the folder described in the current 1.13 data pack wiki. went in game killed a few vex and nothing happens.



    ..The data pack is working because all the custom crafting that i have added works fine.

    posted a message on Java JVM arguments No longer working.

    the the last few years i have been using The JVM arguments for run minecraft in windowed boarder-less mode.


    Using

    -Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Window.undecorated=true


    However when i try snapshot 14w47a/b it no longer goes into windowed boarder-less mode.

    Is there a fix for this?

    posted a message on World Downloader Mod - Create backups of your builds on multiplayer servers!

    Will this next update once again save the contents of command blocks w/o accessing the command block? That's what i liked about the 1.8 version of world downloader. It made making a backup copy so easy w/o having to download the map from the server.

    posted a message on Converting from PC to PE 0.16.0

    I would like to use the resource pack I made for my PC version in PE. However I cannot find any up to date information on how to convert it. Anything I find on google / YouTube is either out of date or shows a extremely complex process for a conversion. I remember when the format changed for PC and all i needed to update was 1 little converter tool that basically came out the first day where you picked out your texture pack and clicked convert. Is there something just like this I can find?

    I would have to agree to a point. Minecraft is still too easy. We get new content but then it gets nurfed because people cry because it's too hard. We have a new dungeon in 1.11 but yet it's still too easy for little to no worthless loot with the exception of the Totem. I have found 1 mansion so far and it was 10's of thousands from spawn and the loot chests were empty. The new mobs do not even respawn. That in it's self would make it a little harder to loot the mansion.

    However since the all the newer structures including the mansion uses structure block data they can be easily edited by players to add difficulty.

    I have seen a lot of hate on Mojang for the lack of snapshots in the last few pages of this thread. Has anyone taken a minute to think? We would have had snapshots by January as promised. BUT Microsoft owns Mojang now. A severe slowdown is to be expected.. It's not like Microsoft to release test versions of their games. They might have forced Mojang into adopting the same system.

    They can just add the ability of people adding their own new blocks via json files rather than just adding 100 random blocks for re-textureing. This way the player can decide how many / what type what it drops when broken and if it spawns and where it spawns in survival or not. And ANYONE can add blocks with little to no programming knowledge. And you can add these blocks in the form of a resource pack so there will be no complex / laggy mod loaders to deal with.
