    some of the admins also play other games and a few have collage or work. But mostly the thing is that everyone is in different time zones. But we will be moveing the server soon. but the ip will not change. The current vps owner is provideing poor service so we found a better one. the map will be moved as well so you will not lose anything.

    Why, its a waste your killing creepers for no reason you monster if it was in self defense it would be diffrent your aren't even doing it for shulpher.


    I have a giant 8 story killing machine built to attract / kill and harvest creepers.

    this has been going on since they switched servers. it's actually made things worse and not better. They should have at least 1 person watching it at all times. because as long as it's down not only people cannot log in they also cannot sell the game. And that's what they need as much as wee want to play. You cannot sell a product if your customers cannot access it.

    At least I have the client version where you can play w/o the internet / Griefers..

    Due to a fatal map bug we were forced to generate a new one. The map was randomly reverting and spawning new chunks on existing areas. Whole buildings turned in to hills and lakes.

    I was thinking the same thing since wood and stone stairs look ugly with sandstone buildings...

    Top is current stairs

    Bottom is wood changed to stand stone texture using a texture mod.


    It's been a long time and so many new items added so i think a few new stair types are needed.

    1. Sand stone
    2. clean stone
    2. white stone "to go with brick"

    A friend of mine decided to start playing minecraft on his wife's laptop. And keeps gettign the bad vid card drivers error. I sent him 3 links to these forums 3 different threads. But nothing seems to help.

    I need to know if we are missing anything. Is there something that these threads don't cover?

    Is there a way to change the save system so that the game saves are .zip/jar files???

    With the introduction of the texture / mod support i know the game can access a .zip file like a file folder. Changing to this system will greatly improve the file access as far as sharing and moving. Currently with how it is now it takes 10 min. to move/copy a game save from 1 location to another for maybe a backup or sharing. with .zip/jar this could be done in less then 10 sec. Now I know ppl are going to say zip it then move it. But you have the task of UNZIPPING IT.

    I cannot find this anywhere. I don't really think anyone even thought of this. i want to change or add to the zombie sounds so some time they call out for brains like all the zombie things i know from movies. Has this already been done? And if now can it be done so it sounds close enough that the existing zombie sounds don't need changed?
