I just don't like it because it just sounds...fake. Sorry, but I don't like listening to fast computerized sounds. I prefer real instruments played by real humans.
That's perfectly justifiable as an opinion, but it doesn't explain why people are ok with electronica but hate dubstep.
I've been noticing lately that dubstep gets tons of hate for what seems like rather trivial reasons. It can certainly get repetitive, and it's quite easy to make, yes. But those reasons don't exactly make dubstep the devil like everyone else says it is. So exactly why does everyone hate dubstep, even in relatively small amounts such as the Halo 4 weapons trailer?
Edit: Wow, I didn't even know there was an arts section. Sorry mods.
Just wondering what you guys think - at what point in a friendly relationship do you ask someone out? When they start talking mainly to you in a specific class? When you say "hi" non-awkwardly in the hallways? When you walk with them in the hallways?
Everything in minecraft is a gear check. PvP is a giant, giant gear check with a very, very small amount of skill involved. Sure, maybe the better skilled player could beat the slightly better geared player, but generally, it doesn't work out that way.
Saying the whither shouldn't be a gear check would require a large redo of the minecraft combat system.
There is a large flaw in your idea that the whither should be skill based : Minecraft, as a game, is not about skill-based combat. It is, as you said, a game that requires material collection and management to thrive. If minecraft had legit blocking and such or something like than, then maybe we could change it a bit. But I don't think that the minecraft combat model in it's current state would support anything more then shooting and slashing at something trying to kill you.
Oh, I thought he meant the server ping list thingy. My bad. The actual server list shouldn't take long to load at all. Isn't it saved in a .txt file somewhere in the .minecraft folder?
Because DDoS'ing and creating a monopoly in brazil for your minecraft server by bringing down other growing servers is personal. Great. You should probably re-post the old OP with the information and proof about the problem.

That wouldn't make much sense - Curse is a giant network that should have the resources to stop DDoS'ing, right?
