Shift+Clicking the item being crafted in a crafting table no longer crafts the maximum number of items. I know this used to work in one of the previous 1.6 updates. Was this moved to another hotkey besides shift? or is it just not possible anymore? I really liked the feature.
I want to make my server a "Winter survival server", and I was wondering if there was a way to make it snow everywhere in the world, non-stop, regardless of biome. I assume that there's probably a plug-in that does this, but I have not been able to find it. Any help in finding a plug-in like this would be appreciated!
Also, please forgive me if this is in the wrong section, if it is in the wrong section, I would appreciate it if a mod would move it to the correct one, thanks.

Notch said on his blog that the only new content for 1.6 would be the maps. But, that would postpone these features until 1.7, when 3 of the most popularly demanded features might be added:
Trapdoors
Another dimension
Pistons
AND MOAR!
Please give a link to the post where he said this, because as far as I know, trapdoors are included in 1.6, pistons and the sky dimension are delayed for a undetermined amount of time (he never said either would be in 1.7)
I actually hadn't had much experience with creepers until about 2-3 months ago, when I finally started playing on "Normal" rather than "Peaceful". Since it was my first time playing with monsters, I didn't know much about where/when they spawn, so I was being extra cautious when exploring a cave in my new save. I saw some iron in the floor ahead, so I ran to it, and started mining it while I was still standing on it. After it broke, I fell through the floor into a dark cave hub and saw at least 3 creepers light up in front of me. Lost my tools, lost my iron, lost everything.
People need to stop complaining about the new dimension. No one is forcing you to enter it; you can completely ignore that part of the game if you want. Notch will probably add things to both the Nether and the sky dimension over time. He listens to the community, and will likely make the requested changes, but raging at him will only make him ignore you.
I have a friend playing it right now, and hes telling me all about it over voice chat.... i like the blockyness. i lvoe that part. but the colors is what i dont like. the colors someone make me want to rip my eyeballs out. also did you know that snow has red in it? wtf is up with that.
Use texture packs. But I wouldn't have expected you to know that, since theres only about 35239720962983 of them in existence and a whole section dedicated to them.
On-topic: I'm surprised Mojang won. I was sure Valve was going to win because they're bigger, have more games, and have a huge community that loves them. Apparently, most of that community also plays Minecraft and got bored of waiting for Portal 2 and Episode 3 to come out.
I don't think people are going to be able to hack the demo for infinite time. Notch might make it so you have to register an account to download the demo, and you have to log in each time you play, so the demo time remaining could be tracked by a remote server which keeps account information, etc. Therefore, people will not be able to hack the demo timer.
