I had made a suggestion to add a single block of glass to a helmet during the crafting process in order to create a visored (or in this case, goggled) helmet.
The Visored/Goggled Helmet has the same properties as a regular helm of the same type, but will lessen the amount that water reduces visibility while submerged.
Goggled helmet is god tiered, I'd use it on land, infact I'm going to just skin one for my character right now.
I would rather have an old "astronaut" suit-like scuba gear
those would make you sink fast and swim real slow also i think you need somebody to pump air to you so it would make swimming too dangerous because 1. you're by yourself 2. you would sink to the bottom and drown
I was swimming and noticed how difficult it is to see under water so i thought of goggles

and also i have seen people posting things like lanterns, mining hats, scuba tanks and flippers so i thought of another slot near the armor for accessories
i just thought of this recently so any post would be appreciated i.e. yes, no ,what's wrong with it,what could be different. anything really
Equip-able lantern so you can light your way in the dark without wasting torches.
Crafted with: glass, torch, iron,( coal as fuel or maybe oil)
Crude oil (collected with buckets) in ocean ², underneath rock/sand/dirt .indicated by bubbles at surface?. Able to farm by digging into dirt and burying logs (fossil fuels I think).
(I realise fossil fuels take a long time to form but hey, so do trees).
Maybe seals or small whales as mobs with blubber drops. Blubber requires refining before being usable as oil, instantly usable as food.
Boiler, attaches to furnace (like attaching two chests together to make a big one. Boiler uses interface integrated into furnace), refines oils into usable fuel. Crafted with iron and steel ³
Oil Bottle holds oil, stack-able: crafted with glass blocks (maybe later in development could be used to craft Molotov cocktail)
Also maybe make bauxite as a block (aluminium ore) aluminium is good for long range power lines...can’t think of much else to use it for except planes (would have to raise the sky a bit for that)
Also iron should be more abundant it’s soo hard to find

³ Steel made from two iron ingots and one coal (carbon) creates two steel ingots
