Update java, if you are using windows 7 or vista, run minecraft.exe as admin. If you are using the in browser, try updating your browser or using the exeutable.

Also, post your dxdiag, click start menu, click run and type dxdiag

Click save all information, save a txt file on the desktop and then copy paste it here.

And if all of this doesn't work, what to do next.
Here are the specs from the original post.

Did notch address this issue with the game freezing and crashing, had the game for about a month and still not working. Any information would be helpful, besides from saying " Read the FAQ". The posts are mostly the same, "Game keeps crashing/freezing". Make a sticky addressing the problem and/or have no clue what is causing this.

Thanks for the reply, I tried closing all tabs and programs. but no go. I even Restore my computer to factory setting and updated everything and still nothing. Could it be the NVIDIA G100 is not able to run this game? do i need a new graphics card? This computer is fairly new maybe a year old.

posted a message on Game Freeze and Crash
I play in both Browser and .Exe but Game Freezes and Crashes every 5-10 mins of gameplay.
And when the game crashes I received "Display Driver has stopped responding" and "Java(TM) Platform SE Binary is not responding"
I read the FAQ and follow those steps but still does the same thing.
I have tried IE, Firefox and Chrome Browsers all same result.
I have ran game as Admin for the .Exe but same result.

    I did these steps:
    1)Update Driver NVIDIA G100 to version 258.96
    2)Update Java to version 6 update 21 (6_21)
3)Follow MadJack: Test your Java installation! -->Click ME!
http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml and it's the updated version
4)i went to look for the Temp folder, found it but no minecraft.net folder in there. Went into Folder Options and checked the " Show Hidden Folders", and still nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You
