    There are no plans for a 1.12 version. The main coder for M5 just had a baby so we're trying to take it slow and purposeful and make sure it gets done.

    The plans are for them to come back for sure. We're starting with Base Metals and Precious Metals because of the sheer volume of general features we're looking at with new machines and processing. Then we'll be adding back in Nether/Fantasy to add more special stuff to them. Down the line we might even look at some new metal sets.

    Metallurgy 5 is back in production, I've been streaming development live every night at


    RebelKeithy, the original coder of Metallurgy 2/3 is back and working on it.

    We're looking at 1.13+ for the release, based on a lot of factors.

    3D Renders might be done by Wiiv when we get around to them. Not sure yet.


    I can't guarantee any compatibility with Smart Moving, that's on their end most likely not ours.

    Here's the preliminary patch notes for Atum 0.7 (so far.)



    Features
    -Added Biomes to Atum (Sand Plains, Sand Dunes, Sand Hills, Limestone Mountains, Limestone Crags, Oasis, Dried River, Dead Oasis, Ruined City)
    -Bonestorms now wander the sands of Atum
    -Atum Portal Blocks now have new artwork
    -Added Spawn Eggs for all Atum mobs
    -Desert Wolves are now tameable with a Dusty Bone
    -Ore Generation in Atum is now configurable
    -Bandits now spawn during the day and Undead at night
    -Mobs now spawn in "packs" of similar mobs
    -Added Limestone Gravel to Atum
    -Added Clay to Atum
    -Pockets of Clay, Strange Sand, and Limestone Gravel can be found underground
    -You can now craft Golden Dates

    Changes
    -Removed old Oasis as they were no longer necessary with the new biome
    -Renamed Stone Soldiers to Stoneguard
    -Renamed Bandit Warriors to Brigands
    -Renamed Bandit Archers to Nomads
    -Renamed Dusty Skeletons to Forsaken
    -Mummies now apply Wither on hit
    -Wraiths are now immune to Fire
    -Wraiths can now climb walls
    -Forsaken now drop Dusty Bones instead of normal Bones
    -Fishing has been disabled in Atum
    -Portals now require Water to spawn (like they used to)
    -Desert Wolves now aggro from farther away
    -Strange Sand now has gravity
    -Stoneguard now make a stone sound when hit
    -Warlords now have 250 health instead of 80
    -Warlords now have 8 base damage instead of 4
    -Warlords are now disabled for the time being (they will be returning as a boss later)
    -Lowered Poison Arrow damage
    -Poison Arrows now poison players
    -Ruin Chest loot tables changed, removed a lot of Dungeon loot from them
    -Pharaoh Chests and Ruin Chests contain much fewer bars and diamonds

    Bug Fixes
    -Fixed Palm Trees not granting achievement "Getting Wood"
    -Fixed Fertile Soil turning into Dirt when stepped on
    -Palm Trees now interact correctly with Bonemeal
    -Palm Leaves no longer destroy/replace blocks when they spawn
    -Redstone Ore (Limestone) now drops Redstone Dust instead of itself
    -Ptah's Decadence infinite diamond exploit removed
    -Fertile Dirt is no longer short
    -Atum Half Slabs now stack properly
    -Atum Half Slabs/Slab Blocks/Stairs/Walls no longer have shading issues
    -Atum Half Slabs/Slab Blocks/Stairs/Walls now keep their metadata properly
    -Atum Half Slabs/Slab Blocks/Stairs/Walls now show up properly in the creative tabs
    -Tilled Soil now lights correctly
    -Relics no longer show what they are until they are cleaned
    -Limestone Furnace (On) no longer shows up in NEI
    -Fixed missing colors on old Atum spawn eggs
    -Desert Wolves are now aggressive by default
    -Oasis Chest no longer sits on top of normal dirt
    -Torches can now be placed on Fertile Soil
    -Barbarians no longer knockback for miles
    -Axes no longer instantly destroy Limestone Furnaces




    Looking to get Deadwood Trees, and Deadwood/Palm stairs, slabs, doors, ladders, etc. in before we release.
