For those of you wondering, this resource pack DOES work with 1.7, being a WIP however there will be missing textures, no matter your MC version.

I am currently using it in 1.7.x, I am mainly wondering when a newer version with more textures will be available.

When can we expect the updated 1.7.x version of this pack?

By far my favorite pack. Keep up the great work

Nevertheless, get the 64bit version ( https://www.java.com...load/manual.jsp ) , and make sure that minecraft's actually using it (check the JVM path in your launcher profile, make sure the path doesn't have (x86) in it).

Ok 64bit is installed and previous versions uninstalled. Where exactly is the launcher profile to check the path?

How much memory does your computer have?
Are you trying to play in fullscreen?

Probably be a good idea to post your dxdiag information.

If your computer is rather memory constrained, then that can explain why it works some times and not others. When there's more free memory available the OpenGL driver can successfully allocate its required display memory, and when there isn't, it crashes.
Probably is more likely to run after a reboot, right?

My computer has 8gb of RAM.

Here is the dxdiag for my computer:

I cant find any solutions to my problem. All the "solutions" I see are just "make sure your drivers are up to date.

I can assure you they are up to date. I've even reinstalled the drivers and I still get the same issue, display driver crashes upon the game launching. The weird part is this is not always the case, the game will some times load up. And no the video card/computer is not over heating either. 90% of the time the display driver crashes.

    Any suggestions?
