Your followers is wonderful as they are our crowding the map despite having configuration files. The longer a chunk is loaded they seem spread. Is this a feature that can be turned off?
Do you mean flowers? Growing and spreading is a main feature of the mod. If you don't like them where they're growing, dig them up. If there's no flowers, they can't spread.
Did you download it for 1.6.4 or 1.7.2/1.7.10? Did you download building packs? Did you make sure the building packs were for the approriate version? Did you try making your own blueprint in creative mode with the pencil tool?
Seriously, you didn't give a whole lot of information.
Just went from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10 and now magic trees and the dirt have changed in mystic groves? In the server I was playing in the dirt was blue and the magic trees had a really pretty particle effect and now they don't. Please someone explain why it isn't the same.
Reading the changelog may help your confusion. BoP 1.6.4 is drastically different from the most recent 1.7.10 version.
Is there anyway to farm or regrow the plants from BoP?
I think it depends on the plant. If you're specifically asking about the River Reeds, no. They're designed to not regrow so that you have to explore to find more of them.
I agree but at least 4k Quality.. I mean I play this game on a 120" 4K monitor and I expect the best...
Textures can always be improved with a Texture Pack. Resource Packs are even easier to pick and choose with, now. Perhaps you should invest some time and make a texture pack for the mod? One with high definition graphics, maybe?
I meant like the Skyrim system of categorizing in a Skyrim GUI, not having Items ordered in the Minecraft GUI
Inventory Tweaks allows you to change the order of items. Just change the settings. It can't help you with the GUI, since that's part of the base game. I'm not sure I'd like scrolling through a list, anyway. I'm kinda used to my grid.
Don't suppose it would be possible to do the opposite -- have lava pools spawn invisible "heat blocks" on nearby non-lava blocks (kind of like a wall of heat) and have mobs avoid these?
As for cactus, I suppose any ***** by a cactus should make the creatures back up and avoid that area. Possibly run away a few blocks in a random direction, though that could make a feedback loop in a cactus field.
Unfortunately, the heat blocks would still require the mobs to "look" at blocks; even if they're only looking for one in particular.
This is just personal preference... But I tend not to go for "I wish I were playing a different game" mods. The inventory in Minecraft is the way it is for a reason. And I'm gonna have to go with Entoarox. Weight limit in Skyrim is based off a strength stat, if not Feather equipment. You'd have to add stats to Minecraft and ways to alter those stats, in order to change how much weight you could handle. It'd also need an overhaul of how items are handled. The stack limit would have to be raised, but a new set of data would have to be added. The GUI of the player would also have to be editied to allow for scrolling.
Honestly, why not just play with NEI or creative mode? Or better yet, if you want to play Skyrim, just play Skyrim. Inventory Management is one of the core features of Minecraft, and I tend to find any mod that changes the feel to make the game less enjoyable. There's also numerous inventory-additon mods already made. Fill up on bags, and several of them even nest. You could have bags, full of bags, full of bags, full of stuff. Makes finding your stuff harder, but can give you that "limitless inventory" you're wanting.
Iguana's Tweaks tried to add "weight" by changing stack limits, as well. Maybe try that mod.
I was looking though and I didn't find any seeds for Dark Oak in the pack. Is this a bug or just haven't got around putting it in or is it already in just need to go through more dirt?
I think it's an oversignt. I also didn't find any seeds for acacia, but I could just be missing them.
Hey Pam, any chance you could eventually make it so Metallurgy ingots work in making cookware -- at least some of them? Copper knife, for example, instead of an iron knife, for the cutting board. Copper saucepan...? I'm not sure which pans are bad to make out of copper IRL. I recall tin used to be a thing they made cups and such out of... did they stop that or are tin cups still a thing? Does tin take heat from a stove?
Anyway, it's kind of annoying to have a bunch of metal that could conceivably make this stuff, but not having run across iron yet I'm stuck waiting on basic cookware. Especially when using Hunger Overhaul and finding it difficult to keep up a steady diet without destroying my stock of necessary seeds.
You can use Minetweaker to add recipes for the different Metallurgy metals. And in real life, copper cookware is considered one of the best, as is cast iron. Stainless steel, not so much, but a lot of people like it because it doesn't rust so easy. And you could even include AE silicon if you want a teflon feel to it. Ceramic knives are considered sharper than metal knives, though more fragile.

Which is why I said "appears to". I haven't reached the limit, yet. Loving IceAge setting, by the way.

One of the configs has an option titled "Enable Physics". You'd want to set that to false to turn off the physics.
