So I created a LAN server for Bedrock for family to play on together, the big issue right now is sleeping, is there a command or mod or something that will allow one person to sleep and not require everyone to hit a bed in order to reset the day, I've seen it on some youtube videos but those were java versions of the game
I'm playing on Hard mode in bedrock and wondering if there is a way to prevent pillager patrols from spawning in my base.
So far they have not spawned inside any structures, but they have spawned on top of buildings, inside fenced off areas, and even on top of a structure but under the lightning shield I had over that one
They are more annoying than difficult as I end up not having milk on me at the time to prevent a raid
I do know I can change the difficulty level to medium or easy and then the patrols won't occur in my bases as they are well lit
but that would also remove some of the other features like drops and phantoms
There are three reasons I would like renewable lava sources in the over world,
First, for those modded worlds where you have a small island and very little else, this gives some room for error, imagine you only have 1 lava bucket and you go to create a cobble stone generator and mess up and place the water or a solid block in the wrong spot, end of game
Second I simply like the whole renewable items, I go out and find what I need and bring it back to my base and create farms at my base, infinite water/cobblestone/kelp/potato/carrot/melon/pumpkin/all trees/etc
Last, if I wanted to create a floor of obsidian that is 64 by 64, it would take quite a while to farm all that obsidian plus a big waste of diamonds if you are missing mending, this way you could place a 64x64 floor of netherrack, then replace the center block with a lava source which would slowly but eventually convert all the netherrack to lava source blocks, when it's done simply dump water and instant floor
I'd like to see spiders set a cobweb occasionally, I'm thinking the mechanics would work like this, Spiders have a 5% to set a cobweb if there is a villager within say 20 blocks, and for every additional villager this goes up by 1%, with a cap of 15%
Thus you could build a cobweb farm by trapping and tag naming a Spider so it doesn't de spawn, and then having a group of 11 villagers in another cage nearby, and thus occasionally the spider would set a cobweb that you could farm
you need a minimum of 10 villagers for golems to start spawning, other than that is seems fine to me, but you might need the doors and the villagers to be more level with the bottom level of the farm, I usually have the doors and villagers at a level of 2 blocks above the floor(without the water) and I'm pretty sure 4 height is ok, mine might be 5 but I can't remember off hand, wish I had pics for you
exactly, I am an item hoarder, so I use a lot of item frames to mark my treasure room chests, currently I have 500(298 used) double chests, plus books for enchant room and librarians trades, thanks for the support
I understand that there is a lot of lava source blocks in the nether, but I was thinking of a way to create additional lava source blocks in the overworld area,
First let's be clear this would only happen in the overworld and thus the game mechanics would have to be different for the nether and overworld, thus this will probably never get into the game
This idea is with lava source blocks, magma blocks, and netherrack blocks, if you place a netherrack block next to a lava source block it would after a time become a magma block, and after another while turn into a lava source block, this would not apply to any other block including netherbrick, and only in the overworld, because if it happened in the nether it'd just turn the whole nether into source blocks and flows
the reason for my idea is mainly for obsidian farming, netherrack is easily farmable and you could use this way in the overworld to make a huge field of obsidian for farming and building
I also like the idea of reclaiming leather from armor pieces, I use a zombie and skele farm and have no use for the leather items as I have diamond, but the chain , and iron and gold I can smelt down
I'd also like to see a renewable source for Lava, like if you put Diorite next to a lava source block then it also becomes a lava source block
and renewable quartz, if you smelted Andesite in a furnace with a lava bucket
I'd also like to see droppers or dispensers able to place a block, maybe a combo Observer/Dispenser, when it detects the spot is open in front of it, it places a block
nah, it's just the farm itself, square with 12 doors on each side 2 levels, 10 villagers on the side with the center drop into lava/hopper/chest system
probably 1 level is fine but I think the second level increases the number of spawn places for the golems, I usually get 3 golems every 5-10 minutes or so
Using the standard iron farm with 96 doors and 10 villagers, it works fine
but I am wondering if I can build a second farm and have both working?
I know there is a distance issue, they have to be far enough apart to not negate each other, but close enough that I can afk between them and both work
Anyone tried doing this? What is the distance between them?

So I thought I'd challenge myself on bedrock platform by playing on a flat world
this means a lot of locations are not in the game but I wanted to check first that wandering traders and pillagers would at least spawn
after a few days rolled along in my game world I got a wandering trader
this gives access to some items that you won't find in the flat world on bedrock since I know the trader inventory can be modified
problem is you need emeralds and that means you need pillager patrols, but so far I haven't seen a single one
Question: Do pillager patrols spawn eventually in a flat world on Bedrock edition?
Thank you

Just built this and using auto-clicker, it's working fine

so if I go 70 blocks from edge to edge, I should also keep the villagers on the farthest sides correct?

Sweet, I'll give those numbers a try, thank you

Did the Bedrock edition change the slime chunks?
According to the Wiki, in Bedrock edition, slime chunks are in the same locations regardless of which world/seed you are in.
I am using Chunkbase, I went to 80,-112 and then dug down to y=35, then dug out from 30-40 on the altitude
Slime are suppose to spawning below level 40
I then dug a tunnel 25 blocks long to afk in, that puts me at the 24-32 range, but nothing spawns
So Chunkbase seems to be wrong, or they changed bedrock to be more random, any suggestions?
