I own a 1.7.2 vanilla server, with the original minecraft_server.exe that I downloaded from Minecraft.net. I used to let it online 24/7 on my own PC and I portfowarded it so my friends could join whenever they wanted. It was whitelisted and I haven't given OP for noone not even myself.
So, after I used CCleaner and Drive Booster to clean and update my PC, my server just does not open anymore. I mean, the Minecraft_server.exe doesn't run. I click it but nothing happens. I tried reinstalling the java, tried killing all java process. I know it's not the java because Minecraft runs just fine, as well as other Java applications.
There is also Avast, the same day it updated itself to 2014 version.
What should I do? I downloaded the minecraft_server from the site again and it won't work, as well as tried to open another server in another folder but for no good.
Thank you guys in advance.
EDIT:
Sorry, just to let you guys know, looks like that Avast was the villain here. I just unpluged it for 60 seconds to open the server with success. Now, everyone that has this problem, that's the way out of it.
