Either the world loaded incorrectly or someone griefed with a hack and went to town in my swamp (Feel like an ogre saying that..). It's flooded. The entrance to my place is toast.
My Minecraft is legitimate, I bought two copies for me and a friend :tongue.gif:
I could check my firewall again.. But I've not changed any of it's settings for quite a while, and Minecraft worked fine a couple days ago (Before making a Mojang joint account).
I can't even access the multiplayer part of the game at the moment, so I'm not able to type in IP addresses.
And if I'm not mistaken, a hacked client wouldn't need to connect to Minecraft.net in the first place
Edit: It's definitely not my firewall. I turned it off, and it didn't help.
I think i know what the problem is. For a split second I could see my character in the middle of the ground, and then I started falling.. then my screen went black again.
Age & IGN? 20, Semper_Durus
Any suggestions for the server? Can't think of any off the top of my head. I personally like playing close to vanilla, for that true minecraft experience, so maybe don't pollute the server with silly plugins (magic, ponies, whatever).
Did you read the rules? yesss, I did

Why you want to join: I've been looking for a small server to call home, with not much luck.
How did you hear about this server: Just looking through the forums for a small community.
Give me a level of maturity: semi-high? moderate.
Give me a reason why your maturity level is that: Leaving for basic training in Juanuary. Went to college for a year before that. I've let off some steam on the internet before; I'm no saint. But I can be well mannered, and I'll never become a 4channer or like ponies.
What would you do if someone griefed your house and spawn killed you 4 times: Be upset. There isn't a whole lot I could do. If I met them in person I could deck 'em, but that isn't very likely.
Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm not much for giving out personal details on an internet forum.
Something great you've done in minecraft. Don't make up crap: to be honest, my greatest creation would probably be a cactus farm. I'm still a bit amateurish.
why you want to join: Looking to make, and play with, some friends in Minecraft
how long you have played minecraft for: Off and on since it went Beta
willing to skype: Sure beats typing. I'm not much of a talker though
if you would like to make youtube videos: Would I like to personally make youtube videos? Not really. I don't mind being in one if that's what you're asking here
will you follow my rules: sure, it's common courtesy
anything extra you would like to say(not required): I'm still amateurish at building things, and Minecraft in general. Symmetry is important to me; I won't criticize people's unsymmetrical builds, but I take my sweet time building my projects perfect in my eyes, which are still amateur in the end (Ha).

At least the people you grief will learn a lesson about people, trust, and managing their server correctly.
And hopefully you receive that feeling of control you lack before you start shooting up walmart.

The migration page told me to use my email as my username to login, which worked a couple of times yesterday.
I just tried my old username and it worked just fine.

My internet is just fine. I'm posting here, aren't I? :wink.gif:
I'm able to play multiplayer games on Steam as well.

That's solved this problem for me in the past.
Backup your world saves first!

I've been having some trouble connecting to Minecraft.net both through my browser and the downloaded launcher.
This has been happening ever since I migrated my Minecraft account into a Mojang joint account.
I managed to get it running a couple times yesterday, but haven't been able to play at all today (Multiplayer, that is).

It's saying I'm not whitelisted yet; don't forget to add the underscore in the middle of my name :wink.gif:
