With school I'll be able to dev quite a lot more, and I'm starting another project which might really interest all of you SAO fans out there (yup I should keep this a secret for some more time so I can have a good base but heh ^-^ ), I didn't do much yet though so you'll have to wait. But I promise it'll be awesome
I think we might have to start the port over again... but make it a community port. I know how to compile the code, and i can give you guys the source code. I can't do java anymore. I got absolutely no time for something like this.
You all do have a point. If re-written in C++, Minecraft will lose a lot of modability.
C++ is not even the right way to go when it comes to modding. Look at games in C++. It is unstable when using single mods at a time, and imagine how it would be if Minecraft was like that. Since I rooted my android phone, I don't even need to worry about mods and such (not like I play it on the go. I have my 3DS for that. I don't really like MCPE that much).
In the end, Mojang just needs to clean up the code a bit, and then we are good to go.
I am not so hyped about the Windows 10 version (Why be so hyped when you use Linux? Not like I like using Windows, I use it when I need it, but Linux is just my daily driver). It is way too over hyped about.
Whoa whoa whoa! Wait a second, can I see a link to where this is stated? No kidding. When was this announced? Seriously! I have been waiting for this since 1.3! Now my computer will laugh at Minecraft even more now! This pleases me!
I love how this is coming out. I haven't used this mod since it was still maintained by Jacki. This mod is so far looking good. When I build my gaming desktop, I plan to use this mod in my client-side set-up I plan to have. Hopefully this will continued to be maintained by then.
Ok, thanks for the info. When I build my computer, these are going to be the shaders of my choice.
However, it most likely will be in a 1/2 or 1 year until that happens. My gaming PC has an ancient graphics card, and an ancient processor. When I build my new desktop, I will be having a blast with some high end technology.
I think it is about time I move on and try to get my mod updated to 1.8. It barely works with 1.7.10, fully functional on 1.6.4. I hope things work out well when I build my new PC.
Is this compatible with Ubuntu? I am away and can not test it. Can someone that has Ubuntu verify that this works? If you want to verify it and don't currently have Ubuntu, you can go to ubuntu.com and get it. It is free and easy to install. Make sure not to wipe your current OS installation though.
Not meant to advertise, but I am running Ubuntu and I need to verify that it works. If it doesn't, i might need to hack it up to get it working. Though if it works on a Mac, then it might work on Ubuntu, since both are UNIX like...

I am glad you are well. It must be painful doing chemo. Hope you get feeling better soon.

That'd suck XP

Nice! Can't wait for details!

Glad to see you are fine!
Just started high school, so I got little time to do anything.
Hope you get better!

Hopefully this is still being worked on.

Bah, it won't matter. My computer will laugh at it like it is nothing.
~700 dollars for that is going to be well worth it. Much more worth it than any laptop.

Yeah, the main reason why it is so slow is since Mojang hired Searge. That slows down MCP development by a lot.

It is VERY, VERY quiet... hopefully Frizzil is still with us. Hopefully we get news soon. Hope you get better soon Frizzil!
Or else I might need to soon consider this mod as dead...

Ok, I will update when I can confirm it working, but it might be a long time until I can get it tested

Just needed someone to verify.
