Tekkit Experience: I've seen many, many guides on pretty much everything. In singleplayer, I've not gotten very far. I'm hoping to join the server to help make the task of mastering this mod less... daunting.

It isn't the end. I know this has been said before, but you can keep playing. And hell, it says to start again at the end. I'm not even sure why it's called the ending.

I've seen the "it was a dream" conclusion in many movies, and in many books alike. In those movies and books, you can see the sheer drop in passion and work for whatever it is, just to get it over with. (excluding inception)

It wasn't. The ending is so much more unfathomably complex than 'it was a dream'.

It seems that if the word 'dream' is present in an ending, people will jump to the conclusion that it was 'all just a dream'.

It's not it doesn't make sense.

It's the idiot that think it has some "deep meaning" when notch even said it was a stupid idiotic over dramatic ending.

    I never called literature ****.
It is bad and I've provided reason for my opinion unlike you children.
Anyone who thinks you don't have to give reasons for an opinion is a child.

Well, using the extended metaphor of this as literature, (as you did in the quote I provided)... ya did.

So you know what? I think we'll just tone down the insults and approach this conversation like reasonable adults, if you'll meet me halfway.

I like it because I think it fits quite well. It makes perfect sense if you go over it once or twice... and so does the game. And ending that says, "This is this, that is that, you killed the dragon and saved us all, you're awesome." Admittedly, that is exactly what I wanted before I saw it, but now? I kinda like this better. Is there deeper meaning to it? I'm not sure. Does it explain anything? Well, it answers some questions, but creates a whole lot more. But do I, personally, walk away from it with a smile of satisfaction? Yeah. I do so because it's a nice story, and the ending is perfect for a game like Minecraft. It says, in essence:

    You did good, son.

    Betcha can't do better.

So there's my opinions. Can't say I didn't put them out.

Because in a mature community, such as a scholarly one who discusses GOOD literature, you can't just say you like something for no reason.

You also don't run around calling literature a piece of ****, saying it's unconditionally bad, and that anyone who disagrees is a 15 year old.

    Just saying.

I love it. I love the ending. So sue me.

But it isn't an ending. The last lines? The voices telling you what to do next. To wake from the dream. And make a better one. Call it what you will, but I think it's inspiring.

    What is Minecraft, exactly?

Please do explain. I honestly don't see how this is not minecraft, as I'm not sure what minecraft is in your mind.

    The house is fine.

It's the landscape and the forest that's been trashed.

Glass floors with lava beneath them are a great way to keep the mobs away. Except, they're hard to make.

    Glowstone is your friend, too.

Well yes, but I'm using all the glowstone I can find to change the forest outside my house to a glowing forest.

If you want it to look good, go and find some lava, and make lava walls instead of torches. It is very pleasing when all is said and done.

Lava walls? Would there be glass involved here, or just lava?

So I've placed about ten more torches in my house. Kinda ruins the aesthetic a bit, so I'll have to think of a more permanent solution...

Make sure every part of your house is well lit, and use doors. If it's all well lit and there are doors on all entrances, I have no clue.

All well lit, and all doored up. Though the last time I found a creeper in my house, the front door had inexplicably vanished.

And sorry Mr. Narwhal, no pictures of my castle until it's finished. Personal Policy.

After the third time I was greeted coming home from the mines by an explosion, I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my house. It's not just the creepers either; I've had skeletons in my closet (literally), zombies warming themselves by my fireplace or sitting down at my feasting table, more skeletons sleeping in my bed, and one time I found an enderman in my library.

So. The question is: Why would I have monsters spawning in my house whenever I leave to go mine or explore or farm?
