    So, no.

I'm having a problem with my worldedit brushes now. Before I decided to update my MC Jar file up to 1.1.0 my brushes were working fine. I don't know what I changed from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0 that messed up my brushes, but perhaps someone will know the fix.

The problem I'm having is when I bind a brush to a tool, my brushes no longer work from such a distance anymore. I have to actually be within the range of clicking on the block in order for my brush to work, instead of being able to right click the block from 30 blocks up in the air flying.

Hope someone has a fix or a command for this.

The single most common post for the last five or six pages.

/reach [number] will be a reasonable workaround for now.

Does this mod work on smp

No, but Worldedit is a mod that multiplayer servers can install.

Please add a Toggle command for mobs to allow you to toggle aggressive mobs attacking you or not attacking you like in creative mode.

that way we can make them peaceful in surivial if we want or make them attack normally in creative!

    /mobdamage

Don't try to use mods with snapshots. :dry.gif:

can you please remove the first position thing off of the wooden axe? it's rather annoying chopping down a tree and getting a wall of text saying first position(x,y,z)... that and why does right or left clicking with the mouse with a compass in your hand make you teleport?

    No.

//toggleeditwand I think will do it.

Worldedit uses the wooden axe as a selection "wand" and a compass as a pass-through and line-of-sight teleporter (though because of a current bug it only does it within the player's reach, which is not as useful).

It's a bug with the last update.

is it possable to delete all blocks to make a small area of flat land, and is it passable to replace a specific type of block??

There are worldedit commands. Options include:
    1. Select the corners of the area using the wand, then //set air
    2. Stand in the middle of the area, and do //cyl air [circumference] [height]
    3. Make another tool an air wand: hold a tool, and type //wand sphere air [circumference]
Then right-clicking with that tool makes a ball of air. Note: the above-mentioned bug applies here, and you'll need to expand your /reach

Replacing specific blocks? Easy. The Worldedit and Paint both do this.
    1. After selecting an area with your wand (Worldedit defaults to using the wooden axe for this), type //replace [block 1] [block 2] ---this replaces block 1 with block 2. For advanced, mixed results, you can list block2 as something like this: 50%air,10%netherrack,5%98:1,5%35:3,30%cake (no spaces)
    2. For more precision work, "Enable paint mode, and left-click to replace the clicked block with the block you're painting, or right-click to place a new copy of the block you're painting (just like placing blocks from your inventory)."
    To enable: /paint <BLOCK_ID | BLOCK_NAME> <DMG>
    To disable: /paint

I made a SPC plugin that adds an /if command, but I don't know how to install in regular minecraft, can anyone help me?

    Wow.

Simo, are there a lot of SPC plugins? I only recently realized paint and path were add-ons. I can't even quyite parse out what "if" does, quite, but it looks like it could be a great tool.

    Hello,

I do not think this is the right place to ask but I am running out of option to ask it.

I got SPC latest and World Edit Latest (5.1.1)

When I use /brush sphere etc and I use it nothing happends untill I go to the ground and use it under my feet, which ofc buries me to death... is this a bug of SPC or World Edit?

I think that's come up over a dozen times. SPC or WE I'm not sure, but the brushes (and the compass) only work within the player's reach -- 4 squares. However, as a workaround, you can use the SPC command "reach" to extend it to a more useful length. /reach 20 is what I usually use, unless I am working in a small area.

why cant my spawner spawn mooshrooms? i typed /spawner mooshroom but it keeps saying theres no such mob please help

Type /spawn list and see the exact way the mooshroom is written -- it's case sensitive. Or use the (number) it lists.

    Quote from 2bcooper

For some reason I can't spawn mobs....

You're not on peaceful mode, by chance?

That's ALWAYS what I forget when I am spawning. And it takes me an embarrassing amount of time for me to figure it out.

Major mods won't be very likely to update to the snapshots, just the full updates.

I'm not sure where to report this but I found a major bug with the //brush comand from WorldEdit. Most of the blocks won't create spheres, cylinders, etc. unless the block you're pointing at has a black outline from mouse (when you'rre really close). However, I think cobblestone works but it's out of sync as it creates the sphere like a little ways from where I'm pointing.

Currently brushes only work within player's reach.

As a workaround, you can extend the reach with the /reach command. /reach 20 is the range I use.

But remember to switch it back!
