I opened up my in-progress map with the 1.8 pre-release 'leak" installed. Not much changed, but Endermen DID take blocks from my building. They are not supposed to take user-placed blocks, but perhaps this only applies to post 1.8 structures.
Also, there didn't seem to be a way to change to creative mode on already-existing maps.
These may change, the pre-release is not final, but I thought I should mention my findings here.
yup basicly thats what im doing :3 using everything i learn from testing peoples maps and i hope to make a challenging and memorable map 83 oh and scix i have your video editted and everything im going to record my voice over for it soon, just havent had the time to do that D: i will have it ready for friday <:3 thank you for your patience and for posting X3!

I shall be watching this, and if i get any great ideas....
Would simply filling the surrounding area force the spawn into the only open area you leave, do you suppose?

I don't know. I'll play with 1.8 for a while, and decide if updating CA is worthwhile. Texture pack, too.
