1. Check that dark conditions exist and you're not on peaceful mode.
The spawners don't seem to have critters in them anymore, but they seem to work. I mention the above because I spent a half-hour not realizing I had peaceful on, and nothing was spawning.
A bug I ran into with this is that whn I have the mod installed on my minecraft, I cannot destroy minecarts whatsoever. I have PC minecraft btw, if that is need to know, and I have tried literally everything trying to fix this. I reset my JAR file and i was able to destroy them again, so I reinstalled my Optifine and TooManyItems mods and decided to leave out SinglePlayerCommands.
I ran into that too ... I find I can break them by hitting them repeatedly, instead of holding down the hit button like everything else in Minecraft. It's like they are being treated like a mob or something.
Finally got around to trying this out. Amazing. Way more useful than I had imagined -- being able to see what i am doing as I work makes a world of difference.
I eagerly await mob support -- though it already works for zombies, of course!
Just, uh, doing a little thread necromancy -- did you get any other submissions? Any new solutions? Has something in 1.0 made it unnecessary?
Starting to rev up my new map -- not too far along, but far enough to be considering player flow -- and I suddenly remembered this thread.
Also, addendum to my above: if the 20x20 area is full, and the top layer is unusable (say, if it's lava or water), it'd HAVE TO spawn you in the only clear space, right?
Though my setting is a hotel, and I am not sure how well I could integrate something like that.
C-A, when I ran it on multi with some friends, totally and absolutely failed at spawning people where I wanted them to be.
cpould you PLZ releaes it for 1.8?!?1 I cant change it back to 1.7 and now its not as fun as 1.7 when I had SP commands :mellow.gif:
He will. Of course he will. He has said he will. But he is not psychic, and cannot produce new coding before the game update has been released. It's been less than 24 hours. Hold yer horses.
Asking won't help. It'll just irritate everyone else watching this thread and waiting patiently.
Not that I am recommending it, but it shouldn't be too hard to make a mod that disables itself if the "unregistered copy" message is flagged. Unfortunately, it also comes on if Mojang servers are down and you can't log in for that reason.

But the place to ask would definitely be in the worldedit forum.

"No" happens to be the answer. It'll bring across the bedrock block on fire, no crystal attached.

There's so much potential with the new materials.... I am giddy with excitement. Too bad I couldn't really get a Halloween update.
Life. Don't talk to me about life. It's rubbish.
