I kinda disappeared for a while...
Glad to see this is being kept up, it's a fabulous tool.
--and the installation instructions worked beautifully (though it took me a moment when it said "rename the .jar file" to figure out which one was meant, as by that step I was in another directory -- still, I did get it on second try.)

Dec 25, 2013SO glad this is still around! It's been well over a year since I used it last, much has changed.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Dec 20, 2013I have to admit I cheated somewhat ... I took the "subscribe" credit, but I was already subscribed.Posted in: Maps

Dunno if this is a good score or not, but this is my first playthrough... fun. My computer seems to have a tough time with it though, and it froze up on me a few times.
I have a strong impression there's more to it than I am getting, though... I'll have to turn off all unnecessary background processes and try again, so I can take time and try things out without making my computer barf. I may be at a disadvantage in that this is not a type of game I generally play, so some of the "vocabulary" of gameplay may be obscure to me. Still, oddly engaging nonetheless, even though I kept asking myself, "Is this right? This seems like the right choice to make, but ... should I be doing math or something?"
Definitely inspires me to finally get MC Edit for my next/current WiP map. Not a lot of "programming" required, but I can see all sorts of new possibilities I hadn't even considered...
Dec 14, 2013As always, pushing the boundaries of the possible. Downloaded, going to play this afternoon.Posted in: Maps

Thanks ! I love your mod ! Hovewer i see that a lot of commands have been deleted in this beta version... i hope them will be reintegreted soon because i really like to use "fly" and "setspeed" and others...
You folks realize Simo didn't delete commands, or remove commands ... but MC updates made the way they were programmed unworkable so they'd have to be reinvented.

Well its not like we have a lot of choice in waiting for it, not like we can really take our business elsewhere. I have to be honest my patience is running thin. First Saturday was announced then Wednesday its basically Friday now (GMT). I mean I want this to be the best it can, and I know Simo is on holiday. I think I have been quite restrained till now, but I am getting to the end of my tether. If Simo had said yeah it won't be ready till the middle of the month then I would be cool with waiting as that would be the definite date, but all this reneging on his word is worse than saying in 2 weeks or 4.
You sound like someone making a customer service complaint.
But you see ... you are not actually a customer, so this way of viewing things is not appropriate.

Hmmm... it would be neat to have this as a book...Quote from LoRaM100

Yeah, if you edit in a "monster" spawner, it will be empty and will spawn nothing.
So I guess now it's used for a cool decoration block :3
Good point, actually.
Aug 9, 2012While we're waiting ... what do you hope will be added/different?Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Personally, I really hope /spawner takes advantage of some of the new spawner stuff.

I'd suggest you *didn't* install it correctly if it doesn't work, right?
Not sure if you've given us enough information to guess why, though.

Hey can i ask a question? It probably just says somewhere but can i install multiplayer plugins to single player commands and how can i install them?
Quote from archery115
most mods are not compatible with Singleplayer Commands Mod because they are using new commands that counteracts with SP Commands, but Simple Guns Mod and the Revolver Mod work with SP Commands
I don't think it's true that most mods are incompatible with SPC.
Jun 28, 2012Looks like 1.3 is going to have some fun spawner options ... I sure hope SPC lets us play with them when that happens.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Well instead of using a stick, you could use a sign which is is enchantable for some reason if you use the /enchant command
Anything that doesn't stack. I like hitting things with enchanted doors and maps.
If I understand the question, you need to use a colon, not an underscore. Like 5:1 not 5_1...Quote from KiNgKiNzPyR0T3K
Uhmmm... The world edit has a problem...if i try to pick a block for a replace command (and the block has multiple types like logs and wooden planks) i cant choose any block (even with the number at the end.... And yes i am using the _....

Tried it before I posted, came up with nothing about what I asked.
Also I find it rude of you to question my reading abilities, it was a simple mistake and just skipped that reply accidentally, so try not to assume that I cannot read just because I asked a question.
Yeah, well, consider it from his perspective: people come in at least three or four per page and ask the same three or four questions over and over. He's developed this sort of copy-paste response that 90% of the time is a good answer, because they've never thought of looking it up that way.
Downside is, it's a copy-paste response to individuals, each of which is in their own unique situation from their view, so it's a bit testy.
It's like if your name were Charlie Brown. The first 10,000 times someone comments on it, you could probably shrug it off. But Mr. 10,001 makes the comment, it's too many, and you may snap at him -- even though for HIM, it's the first time.
I have no solutions.
