well i do have quite an explanation, its just i havent got to that yet. this is just to see what everyone thinks on the overall idea

When I watched the Dreamhack on the forums news, Jens said about upgrading your tools so rather than having more gems and stuff added, to add stuff to your diamond, iron, stone, gold and wooden picks.
what i propose is Iron, Diamond and Obsidian Sticks! these will not be craftable into torches, but when replacing normal sticks for crafting your tools, the tool will have a different handle, depending on what stick was used to craft it. the use for these sticks is to speed up the breaking time for blocks, so if you had a diamond pick with a diamond handle, the time for breaking obsidian would be shortened to 4 or 5 seconds, rather than ten. that means that the handle type will be for speed, and the head would be for tool health and blocks that can be broken.

IF anyone could make a mod with a texture like a red version of the top of a furnace, with the top having a cross in the center and every side that gets right clicked (Activated so that electricity passes through it) will change from red to a more red-orange colour
