Used to be in a good group of local people who played MC servers together, but alas life has sent us separate ways. Mainly been playing revenge of the C Team lately, and would love to find a group playing that. However really I do not care about that much as finding like minded 40+ gamers. I have been gaming online since telnet and MUDs, I love to build and chat as we go through the mod packs. If anyone knows such a clan I would be indebted.

Are there any ROTCT servers with active players? the last one I was on died, and I went on to play other games and packs, but I really miss a populated C_team server.

posted a message on [Forge] Matter Overdrive (Replication,Energy Weapons,Black Holes and Androids)

I am playing this via the Revenge of the C Team modpack, and enjoying it greatly. My biggest issue is finding documentation explaining GUI's and upgrades. Specifically I am working on the fusion reactor......

On the gui, is the red side simply the RF currently being stored in the controller? The matter side I am also equally confused...I do not understand what it signifies at at all, I thought it was the total matter input etc, but if the decomposers clog up with dust for example it simply resets......I really don't get it's purpose. I am having a hard time understanding the process, and how to use this gui for efficiency. Lastly what upgrades will help me get the best efficiency on the controller and decomposers? Lastly do you forever have to be feeding the singularity to generate power? What is the best way of removing dust? matter overdrive cables, or itemducts? I still don't understand the matter stuff fully, as I have just started this. Thanks.

I read in an update that you added a command to replace block in a schematic. How do I do this?, i do not see any info. can someone walk me through how to do this?....For example my schematic uses a ton and I do mean ton on quartz, and I would prefer to use marble......is there a way I can replace ALL quartz blocks in schematic with marble? Thank you.

I have a question is there anyway to make sliding doors ebe further then two blocks wide? I really would love for them to be 3 blocks wide...some of us have odd numbered squared hallways for our builds. If I could do teh sliding doors wider..and even better wider and taller that would be awesome. yes I know I can use the disappearing ones, but it's not as cool. Also is there ANYWAY to make sliding doors to any doors horizontal? That would also be fantastic. Would love to use the factor ones as a door to a vertical chute. If there was anyway to basically do multiblock doors and change facing I would be in door heaven. I love these doors, but for my space ship, I can't use some of them as all my hallways are odd number blocks wide.

1.7.10 is not supported anymore and it would be the NEI people that would have to tweak it. This happens with most packs anyway and I just deal with it.

Is there no way however to just toggle tool tips on and off? That is all I am really asking.

Not in full screen. In this picture it's this repair and modification tip blocking nei, but that changes depending on the station. It was working before however without issue....so I am not sure what toggled these. I am using the Revenge of the C Team mod pack if that is any help. I have had this happen once before on a different pack I now recall.....

I am using 1.7.10 1.8.8. and having an issue with this and NEI. It worked great at first, however at some point the tinkers help menu when using a station has covered up my nei and makes it impossible to see recipes on right side of screen. I can't figure out how I toggled this. For instance when I click on the crafting station I get the Repairs and Modification tool tip completely blocking NEI and recipes. Sorry if I am a noob on this one but I have used tinkers for years now, and I do not recall this happening before. Also leaving server and logging off does not help, I come back and it's still up... :(

So I figured out it's the texture pack.....the arrows textures from Sphax is the culprit, when I turn off all resource packs they look normal again......anyone know where the arrows are located in resourcepack for tinkers? I am happy to just delete and use default.....that or if anyone knows a good

add on high res pack for tinkers where arrows look good..

posted a message on Optimization advice? GTX670 + Optifine + ATlauncher + Shaders

You mentioned you'd like liteweight good looking shaders, well here. These are my favorite & they look great (even on the lite version)

    Thank you also!

...Optifine, FastCraft and FPSPlus might speed up some calculations a bit. But no Java arguments can really change the fact that Minecraft/Java CPU optimization is pathetic. For instance, the game (before 1.8) runs only on a single core/thread, so most of your i5's 4 cores(8 threads) are idle.

If you really want to try, here's something from old shader discussion. I don't expect this to net you more then extra 5 FPS:

    -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -XX:+AggressiveOpts

I forgot to respond, and I know it's late, but THANK YOU!.

I am playing the Crundee Craft modpack on ATlauncher, but this issue is one I have had across my modpacks, when I create tinkers arrows and fire them I get a graphics of Crossed arrows.... it looks bizarre....anyone know a solution? My resource pack is a mixture of sphanx/crundeecraft/Chroma Hills. Using just the basic wooden tinkers bow and wooden flint tinkers arrows......

Here's the thing I am not asking why it's slow..I understand that. I am asking what are the best settings for what I am trying to accomplish. I am already aware of the hurdles. Clearly other people with comparable machines have gotten better performance....I am only interested in what things can be done and what settings could be chosen to improve performance.....as well as what Java Parameters would be suggested. Again thanks.....but telling me why it is slow isn't my question.

Instead of optifine use Fastcraft + betterfps you will have the best fps

Actually I have both Fastcraft and Optifine running.
