Hey gr8pfish, saw your mod was out, nice work, I have it installed right now. Thanks for the credits, I just noticed that I meant to put you (and Chitown03) into the credits of iBench as well, but instead I accidentally added you to the credits in the other mod I am working on at the moment, will have to correct that at some point!
Hehe, yeah, its coming, but I am back at work now, so I don't have as much time to dedicate to this as I would like. I think I should be able to get an alpha of V2 out some time this weekend though, assuming I can fix the problems Ive been having with saving recipes.
Just noting, I have fixed a bug which caused iBench inventories to behave like ender-chests when you have multiple in your inventory. Thanks to gr8pfish for reporting the problem.
I have not seen any other problems from OpenEye, or had any other reports, so hopefully 1.0.12 is the final release for v1.
ok cool I thought I was going crazy for a sec, or maybe just a one off bug. I found another bug while crafting microblocks. http://pastebin.com/FTrKxUHt
Thanks, couldn't reproduce this one, tried with all the saws and various blocks, but never got a crash, but I have removed my code and replaced it with modified Forge code anyway, so hopefully that will fix it (1.0.11). If it still crashes with the newest version, please let me know some more details, ie, what saw were you using, what block were you cutting up etc.
Chitown03, hope you dont mind, but you are going in the credits.
I got a chance to actually play the game earlier and saw the same thing happen, turns out its when you use the hotkey to open a newly crafted iBench, it never happens if you right click to 'use' the iBench first, and is also fixed by just opening the iBench once via right click.
Found another bug, leaving items in the crafting gui will delete those item when you close out of your inventory
Cripes, sounds bad, but I cant reproduce this, are you on 1.0.9? What kinds of items did you have in the grid? Did you just close the table normally? Do you see anything in your logs when this happens? Playing on a server?
Shift clicking recipes does not seem to work anymore
And anyway to sort your inventory while in the gui of ibench, you may have to hook into inventory tweaks?
I could of sworn it worked before but i don't remember.
Dude, you are awesome, thanks for letting me know! I have not actually had time to actually play recently but I still want to get this thing finished, so your reports are invaluable. Though I am making a list of things to test properly before every release.
Anyway, Shift clicking is working again, and Inventory tweaks is now integrated (definitely did not work before).
Your newest version seems to be bugged. Opening the crafting grid while holding and right clicking the ibench seems fine, but as soon as you use the hotkey clicking anything in the gui crashes me also not able to put items in the crafting grid. http://pastebin.com/RJnwzKys
Other than that this mod is a must, can't wait to see what else you add
Thanks a bunch for posting the crashlog! I have fixed up the error in 1.0.6 which is available now.
As for whats coming, next up is a library of your last crafted recipes, basically like the Forestry work table, the reason for the blueprints in the recipe). And after that is an upgrade system which will allow you to autocraft items from your inventory (compress cobble while you mine etc), and possible add a furnace and second crafting grid.
In case anyone downloaded this and tried to use it on a server, I just found out there was a pretty bad server side crash in the version I posted, the new version (1.0.4) contains the fix for this and should work fine on servers.
Inspired by Dartcraft's clipboard, iBench adds a portable workbench with a few extras. You are able to shift click into the crafting grid, rotate the outer ring of items, balance, and clear the grid with either a click of a button, or using your Forward, Backwards, Left and Right keys.
The crafting grid will also keep its inventory between uses, providing you with 9 extra slots of storage, and of course it integrates with NEI's automatic recipe completion.
