First one has already been done. You can watch the mini game in action here

As for your second idea, this seems highly similar to CTF (Capture The Flag). It's been done a thousand times already.

Sorry to burst your bubble. :(

posted a message on Whats our purpose?
There is no official statement on all of those things, they just exist. Since Mojang hasn't said anything, people have jumped on the occasion to try and make a story. Most of them are here. http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/183-literature/

Everyone who has ever written a little Minecraft lore has done it differently. So what we have is dozens of versions, each coming from someone with a specific idea of what happened. So that's where things get messy. People make story based on what we have now : villagers, strongholes, mineshafts, nether, pigman, enderdragon, etc. People have tried to explain some of the elements of the game, but I don't believe any one has been able to cover everything and make something that is logical and could have happened.

The most important fact, that is developed in a lot of stories, is that Steve is alone in this world. The last member of his species. It is widely believed that steve survived some kind of apocalypse regarding the ender dragon or the zombie pigman. (There are stories about herobrine but we don't talk about those :P)

I could go on here and tell you a story, but that would only be my opinion on what happened, and is not in any way, shape or form the reality.

Oh my, how do you even do that? I left the page un-refreshed for a while, and coming back to it, I see your topic covering all of my screen. Seriously, how do you 'accidently' post 10 times?

And please don't use wierd text sizes and colors, looks really unprofessional and it hurts my eyes.

posted a message on What is a "moved" topic with the minecart?
That means you posted in the wrong section. If you did some research before posting your other topic, you would have found the unmodified client section. Which is where people who know about how the client works hang out. Here, in MInecraft Discussion, it's more about talking about the gameplay of minecraft. But it is one of the most misused sections of this forums, as you can probably tell from all the moved topics. I blame this on the 'vague' description of what is supposed to be talked about it. (I say 'vague' because the description is fine, but people don't bother to read all of it.)

"General discussion about Minecraft, minecraft development". A lot of people, when they see this, immediately think : "Well, my luncher problems are connected to Minecraft, since I'm trying to run Minecraft." Of course it's not only those people who use this forum wrongly, a lot of people do, and for a very simple reason too. If people bothered to read to the end of the forum description, they would see this.

"and anything that doesn't fit into the other specific sections." This is where everything goes to hell. A lot of people don't read this, or are just too lazy to bother searching themselves for the right section. Okay, okay, of course, some things are hard to decide where they belong, and if you really can't find a section where it would fit better, just post it here and a mod will take care of it. But please, before you end up relying on the mods to do the work for you, just give the forums a little read, and I can assure you, 99% of the time, you'll find a section that would fit your topic better.

Depends. If you're building a faction server, then a main town is in order. I'd suggest doing something around the roman theme. I think it's a really unused theme which has some great potential.

Wrong section, and if you want us to help you, you need to tell a little more information.

Are you using any mods? That'd be a good start.

And here's the right section if you aren't using any mods http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/151-unmodified-minecraft-client-support/

I think what you are looking for here is to share the world between people?

If yes, then all you need to do is upload your save to a website, like mediafire for example.

If you can't do that, just ask and I'll give you a tutorial.

Freaking internet, always taking so much of my time!

It's really hard to resist the attraction of the internet. When you think about it, it's kind of like the dark side of the force. It's always there, somewhere in your mind. You can't forget about it, atleast not for long.

    "I am your father luke!"

"Clean your room dangit! It's so messy."

On the actual topic, If your grades suffer, then you got to stop making that castle of yours and start studying more!

Yep, but the computer cracking doesn't know that. I'm not sure if it tries doing consecutive numbers first, or it goes throught a list of the most common passwords... You know what? Be right back, I'm going to go hit up the geek squad.

Also, a strange fact: on that site, I made a 80 character long password, but all it is is consecutive counting integers from 1-80. Easy right? 1,2,3,4..78,79,80

79 billion quadragintillion years to hack it

    Better start right now!

I'm not sure how cracking passwords works, but something 80 caracters long is literally impossible to figure out. The possibilities are almost endless!
