Adults tend not to have too much time to spend on games, so it's natural that you will not find that many adults playing and conversing online.
Adults are busy, we have **** to do (as you'd know). But know this, we are out there and in significant numbers.
I mean come on... Do you really think Notch could muster up the several claimed millions by children who can't earn. A playerbase that has to beg their mommy to use their credit card?
Some adults might also be rather embarrassed to reveal that they in fact do play the game. Probably due to it's kiddie friendly look and the fact that it has to be described as a block building game which just sounds all sorts of geeky.

xRagan posted a message on Cant smelt clay blockYes, I recently heard about the Silk Touch enchantment, which enables you to mine the blocks themselves. Do not try to smelt the blocks, you need a normal shovel and dig up the clay from the clay blocks. Using the Silk Touch won't work, as I understand.Posted in: Legacy Support -

MachinaSoul posted a message on Recent updates have been requirering a new map?You don't have to leave things behind. We have MCedit which is a program that allows you to cut and paste your builds from one save to another save, regardless of the version of the game the word was generated in.Posted in: Legacy Support
Yes, if you want the new biomes, NPCs in villages, among other similar changes, you will need to generate a new map, otherwise any map chunks that you've yet to explore will load under the new generation and could result in a horrendously misshapen and ugly world at the merger between the new and old generated chunks.
Yes, it sucks, but apparently Jeb or Notch have stated at some point in the beta that we should not get too attached to our world files as significant changes were likely. I joined in at 1.7 so I really have no idea how much the game may have changed since Indev to tell if old maps have had similar issues of needing to generate a new map to get all the new goodness. - To post a comment, please login.

Uhm, you have windows? Windows 7 you mean? This guide you linked is for MAC if i´m not mistaking. So are you sure you have windows?
If this "Time capsule" router is not on that list then i´m clueless. This router of yours seems to be a MAC router of sorts(i think), I don´t know much about MAC, i´m sorry.
But this is what i got, not sure if its more help
http://gigaom.com/apple/how-to-port-forwarding-on-a-airport-extreme-time-capsule/
This is a guide to port forward "Timecapsule". But the guide seems to be on MAC.
If you are using a MAC then follow this guide.
There are many ways to port forward, find out exactly what kind of a computer you have (MAC/windows) Find a guide for your router and port forward "25565"
25565 is the port Minecraft uses, so which ever way you use, this is the port.
Sorry i can´t be of more help, when it comes to apple and MAC i don´t know much. I´m a windows user, always have been.

First go to
http://www.minecraft.net/download
And download "minecraft.jar" near the bottom of the page.
Choose a folder for the server (I created a folder on my desktop named "MC Server"), put the "minecraft.jar" there and start it. When started the server creates new files in the folder. One file named "server" can be opened with notepad and there you can change settings for the server.
You can now connect to the server but other probably can´t, because you have to open your port, and this is where it gets a bit complicated. But no worries, here´s a guide you can follow.
http://portforward.com/
Find your router on that list, click on it and then you get an add, just click "Click here to skip this add" in the upper right corner. On the next page you get a list of games, find Minecraft on that list and click on it.
After clicking on Minecraft you get step by step instructions on how to proceed. Just follow it and you should be fine.
Your friend has to have your IP to connect with the server.
Go here
http://www.whatismyip.com/
And give him/her the number.

Adding the option to change the key binding for sprint will also work, but i can see the problem with that if you want to change it back to double tap. I´ve never seen a key binding that registers double tap.

People actually think Minecraft is free because of this website, they don´t realize this is stolen. Was there a glitch in the copyright or something? I don´t understand how this can go on for so long. Kinda pisses me off :sad.gif:
