I´d really like an answer to this. I e-mailed Mojang about this weeks ago with no answer, so i´m not holding my breath.

Like i´ve said. Me and my friends don´t want to start creating new cool stuff in a map and then being forced to start a new map to get the latest update :sad.gif:

Just a "Its unknown" answer would be great too! :smile.gif:

That doesn´t solve my problem.

I still have the old 1.7 server map. It can´t be updated and that´s fine.
But i don´t want to start a new server map unless it will be capable of getting future updates, or i´ll end up with yet another map that´s outdated.

Just create a 1.9_2 server for now and keep the world so you dont have to delete anything :biggrin.gif:

Hi. Since 1.8 my server map is rendered outdated and can´t be upgraded to have the new stuff.
Now 1.9 is coming so i´m wondering if i´m safe to start a new map after that? Will the final release or 2.0 also make your map outdated and unable to upgrade?
We don´t want to start a new map now and then have to start another after release.

Notifying why someones post was deleted may be something the forum staff should take a look at, specially when the reason for the delete is far from obvious and in my case its not obvious, i still don´t know why.

Thank you again, i´m on the fence on if i should try to post it again unchanged and take a change it wont be deleted, we´ll see.

Whats with the attitude? This used to be a forum full of nice people, then Minecraft became popular.
You don´t deserve to have an attitude when you clearly didn´t read my post properly.
It was deleted without notice, then whats stopping me from posting it again unchanged if i don´t know why it was deleted?

You are a fat white guy... I´m just assuming tho, your whole comment is based on your assumption so i thought i could do a little too.
My post was not about new features, it was about a small game feature that will be in 1.9.

Now i was told by a little message before i made this post that i would be contacting the forum staff, not members with a negative attitude. I simply wanted to know why my post was deleted because its to NO ONES best interest if i post again just to have it deleted again.

I posted thread in the 1.9 discussion section, about what should be fixed in 1.9 and it got deleted without notice and i find that utterly rude and inconsidered. I didn´t break any rules.

You said you failed to see the problem, i only pointed out the problem. Of course Minecraft should be updated, but it´s still a problem when you have to start a-new with each update.

Also, i didnt read the Terms of use but i´m sure we agreed to the fact that the game will change and have flaws during development.

I can´t answer your question but i agree with what you said.
I don´t like the overbearing mountainage, it´s to much. I also don´t like the floating blocks that comes with it. Floating blocks should be fixed by now, or is it supposed to be there?
Nether do i like swamps, maybe it´s just the general idea of it or it just needs some work.

What? Do you not see the tons of creepers? This is not normal, i can´t even play because of the bad frame-rate that comes with this, and i have a good high end computer

Is it your server? If not the owner likely played with some things. But 1.8 bug wouldn't be unheard of...
