I love your mod, pretty much my favorite mod for minecraft, and my absolute favorite part of it is the golems. What you have done for them in 4 and 4.1 have completely revolutionized the way they work, which is great. If you are planning on adding any new golem cores in the future, I wanted to suggest an idea I have for a Golem Core of Operation, which is an upgrade of the Golem Core Use. It allows a golem to operate redstone input devices like levers and buttons in a certain order (the order in which you picked the desination spots). And it would be really useful if the golem would only start his sequence of operations if his home block is powered (redstone torch or powered block). This golem core would allow you to easily make redstone systems that require complex sequences of input.
If you read this far, I really thank you for your time and hope you seriously consider my suggestion.

Building experience: 8
Experience with WorldEdit: 10, I can do pretty much anything
How long have you been playing Minecraft? Since the very first creative alpha.
Skype: Salmonman0604 (though I prefer steam contact)
Coding experience: I do actually have some Java experience, but never made a real mod for Minecraft, so it probably wouldn't do me much good without further study.

Feb 23, 2013I just about had a fit when I saw this. Love trains. If no one else has suggested it yet, could there big a 4-8-8-4 Union Pacific Big Boy added at some point? That is my favorite train and I would love to use it in Minecraft.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Feb 22, 2013I have to say that the golemancy in this mod is my favorite thing I've ever used in minecraft. One thing though is that theres really only 2 job performing golems, the fighter and the farmer, and the others are just item management. Are there any future plans to expand the golem's skillsets so I can have them be a larger part of my operation? I would be sooo grateful if that were the case.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

The function you’re applying for: Builder or Architect
Reason for wanting this position: I want to help build a fantasy RPG type world such as you have, but I cannot do it alone and most of the people on the server I play on don't have similar aspirations. I want to build this to be the best it can be and will accept no less than perfection.
I have experience in modular building designs, as well as details. I do very well with bridges but that is not the limit of my experience. I also took 2 years of architecture in high school so I know something about that.
Contact info: [email protected], Salmonman on Steam
Time Zone: Pacific, GMT-8:00
What you can bring: Building and designing experience, extensive worldedit experience.
Proof of work:
In this video, the Mob Arena and all sandstone structures were built by me.
Built this fantasy town on a lake in Tekkit, actually done in survival:

Jan 9, 2013The other day I built a massive tower that was tall enough to reach above the clouds, and much to my surprise, rain still fell up there. That doesn't really make sense. My suggestion for a fix is that the rain effect would only be present from the cloud layer down.Posted in: Suggestions
This also got me thinking on ways to improve the atmospheric effects of rain, clouds, snow, and all weather systems present in minecraft.
Rain should only fall in the areas that are covered by clouds, to simulate rain falling from them. This would mean that spats of rain would shift over time and the entire world wouldnt be raining at once. This would of course require that clouds become more dense when it is about to rain, or else a good chunk of the world wont be raining when it's supposed to.
Because the clouds would become more dense, that would justify getting a little darker when it rains. However, what if you are above the clouds? In this case I think that the atmospheric affects of rain (darkness, grayer sky) should follow the rain itself in not being present when you are above the cloud layer.
I just imagine it being a dreary rainy day in minecraft, but then I climb to the top of my tower, far above the clouds, and its just a pleasant as ever, sun shining.
Jan 9, 2013For long sequences of delayed circuits that require you to pass on the delayed signal AND have an output without skipping blocks in between (such as monorails), this is required. I have often wanted one myself. Support.Posted in: Suggestions
(Although I think that recipe is a bit over the top. It's really just a different version of the current, so I feel it should have a similarly priced recipe. Having to make 3 repeaters and use 2 iron for every one will limit it's use in survival mode.)
Jan 1, 2013It would be nice to have more, but the fact that they are non renewable makes their use something of an accomplishment. I don't enjoy going to get them but I feel good when my farm is all lily padded. They aren't a necessity anyway.Posted in: Suggestions
