In the survey the option for age is wrong, you have 35-44 then next is 55+ you missed out the 44 - 54 age group.
Unfortunately im in that age group :sad.gif:
Woops! We'll get that fixed, sorry about that!

As long as Minecraft has no DLC content, I'll not use the Curse website/client.

So how are you supposed to heal now? I'm disappointed by this update. I expected better.

This is a cool contraption.. but honestly I think etho's boat launcher is far better than this - it's more compact, instantly boosts the boat to max speed, takes fewer resources, is easier to build, etc.
Again, I like this design but don't really think it deserved a digital diamond - not compared to some of the other stuff that has been shown lately.

I can't just click the "helpful hints" or "digitial diamonds" text and go to that category of videos... that would be the obvious thing for those logos - not to open the same thing in a lightbox.

Does Notch tell admins of the forums what new things are added to Minecraft? :tongue.gif: If so I would like to sign up for admin. xD
Quote from Jordaz99p.s. You don't know for sure if its a real mob, untill if it comes in 1.8

1, You can clearly tell, Minecraft isn't the most realistic thing in the world but i doubt something like this would be in.
2. and The blocks you see them holding I Can tell for sure they are photoshopped By the way the blocks are facing
3. the grass block has in Minecraft dosn't have a green top, its supposed to be side grass all over the block if you've Edited it in before.

Choosing a limited number of packs to vote on was incredibly difficult due to the sheer volume of great entries, and we thank every single artist who is participating!
Once you've had a chance to see the packs (and maybe play with them in your game too!), vote on your favorite in the poll at the top of this thread. Good luck to all our entrants!

Have you ever tried making a character skin, but were frustrated with the process of drawing the skin in a 2D environment, only to see it turn out strange when you finally uploaded it? We recently came across an interesting skinning program for character models, designed by Paril, which has an especially innovative feature - the ability to paint directly on the player model! This innovative take on a useful utility is definitely worth a look - give it a try here, and see what you think!

Edit: Except for MinerDillon's introductory attack, of course. :tongue.gif:

We would prefer all entries be in by 11:59 pm midnight PST on Wednesday. Being a few minutes late isn't an automatic disqualifier though. :smile.gif:

We've already received a number of excellent entries, and look forward to many more. On Wednesday, we will select the best of the best entries and post them up for you, the community, to vote on a winner! The first place winner will have a feature-length review on the front page - future contests may include additional prizes as well! Keep in mind, not every contest will be a texture pack; we hope to see excellent mods, videos and more!
If you have a texture pack entry for this week's contest, head on over here and submit your entry!

Halloween is tomorrow, and this week's Content Contest for a themed texture pack is in full swing! What could be better for getting into the spirit of the holiday? How about Kodaichi's Halloween Mod? This hefty mod boasts a number of features, including:
These wandering NPCs want candy almost as much as you do! What happens if you give them some? You'll just have to try it and find out!
Additionally, there is a special, rare item that can be crafted, if you're able to gather the right ingredients...what does it do? How do you get it? You'll just have to try the mod out for yourself to find out! Each mob is specifically designed for the holiday, with custom appearances, behavior and more. This mod is perfect for getting into the spirit of Halloween - give it a try for yourself!

That's okay!
There are no minimum requirements for "completeness", but the more the better. :happy.gif:
Correct.

You can, but if one of them makes the vote list, the rest may be exempt.
I'd prefer we not go over 32x, but there are no hard-and-fast limits on resolution at this time, so feel free to work in your preferred res. :biggrin.gif:

It can be whatever you like! Just remember, every forum-goer will vote on it. :happy.gif:

All weekly contests will always be for the most recent full release of the game. Currently, that is 1.8.1.
The point isn't to make something impossibly amazing, but to have fun with it. It is a challenge, after all! :happy.gif:
